The Policy and Practice Officer will help drive Carers Trust’s priority to improve support for young carers and young adult carers. You will strengthen our growing policy and parliamentary work, coordinate the ever-growing Young Carers Alliance, and act as the main contact for the Young Carers Covenant.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders including civil servants, MPs, local carer services and other charity partners, local authorities, health organisations, senior colleagues, and most importantly, young carers and young adult carer services themselves. In this role, you will champion young carers’ voices through public campaigning and private influencing, becoming an expert in the issues they face and the support organisations that work with them.
As the postholder you will:
· Proactively support young carers, young adult carers and local carer organisations to become involved in policy and external affairs activity.
· Build strong links with other organisations across areas such as education, health and social care to ensure that young carers are proactively being considered within policy, research and practice.
· Produce engaging reports, briefings, digital copy and articles for external use outlining and evidencing the need for change and potential solutions.

Summary of the Role
STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.
This role will lead on our work to prevent recruitment of vulnerable people, overseeing our global prevention programmes that reach high-risk communities with lifesaving information, typically via social media (through partnership with companies like Meta & TikTok). It will also lead on our data gathering initiatives, and on the development of our new product, the Safety Centre.
The Head of Prevention is responsible for ensuring our programmes are high quality, effective, leading on safeguarding as well as monitoring and reporting impact to drive future funding.
Summary of Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership:
· Manage a multi-disciplinary team that works together to deliver prevention programmes, bring in partner data for our Traffik Analysis Hub, and develop software and data tools for vulnerable communities.
· With support from the Director of Intelligence and Prevention, oversee the flow of intelligence resulting from prevention programmes, including the safeguarding of individuals at risk.
· Manage relationships with funders and partners.
· Manage data experts focused on bringing in high quality data to our Traffik Analysis Hub and leverage those insights to build effective prevention programmes.
· Work within the Senior Leadership Team to ensure organisational strategic focus against annual impact and income targets.
· Work alongside the Development Team to deliver funding bids and pitches for further prevention programmes.
Programme Delivery & Product Oversight:
· Oversee all prevention programmes to ensure we reach the right audience based on intelligence with effective messaging.
· Oversee all intelligence collection and safeguarding while key campaigns are live, providing a trauma-informed and person-centred approach.
· Monitor, capture, and communicate the impact of prevention programmes to evidence our methodology, and drive further funding.
· Improve and innovate our programmes to scale, overseeing the build of our new Safety Centre, a 24/7 platform leveraging AI to provide round-the-clock prevention, supporting our Full Stack Developer and supported by our senior solutions architect.
· Monitor and review social media performance for prevention campaigns and suggest ways to improve reach and engagement.
· Support the Data Engagement Manager to build and maintain relationships to effectively source data for our Traffik Analysis Hub.
· Capture and articulate use cases for the TA Hub to support marketing and partner engagement.

About this job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.
You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.
You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team by preparing monthly management accounts with variance analysis, budget holder reports, and statutory accounts. The key duties of the Management Accountant will be as follows:

The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET and those who have been Electively Home Educated. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Team
The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Skills and Employability Adviser.
You will support a caseload of young people aged 16 to 18 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET with part of your caseload being Electively Home Educated Year 11 young people who may be at risk of becoming NEET. You will guide them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their Post 16 provisions.
Working across the West of the county, including Wealden, with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. You will build positive working relationships through co-located working, and accurate input into relevant databases.
This role also supports our Electively Home Educated Year 11’s with transition support to their Post 16 pathway.
You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Your role will involve assessing needs, action planning, reviewing progress, and adapting support as required. You'll also act as a champion for relevant opportunities and resources—ensuring young people, parents/carers, providers, and wider stakeholders are aware of what’s available and how it can help.
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with NEET, Risk of NEET young people, who understands the post-16 education and training landscape and the importance of person-centred support. You will be a confident communicator and collaborator, able to manage a varied caseload and make a genuine impact on the lives of the young people you support.

BIAS is a leading local Irish charity which has supported England’s largest community in Brent for over 45 years. Context and Background
The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of its annual income. Within Fundraising, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible supporter experience by building long-term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.
The Mass Participation Team (MPT) is an important part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships department within the Engagement and Fundraising directorate. MPT is responsible for attracting new supporters through our mass participation events to maximise fundraised income, and to optimise onward journeys to retain supporters within the NSPCC family.
The Mass Participation Team focuses on three areas of fundraising;
- Third party events – sporting events organised by third party suppliers, where we recruit participants and support them in raising money in aid of the NSPCC. For example, the London Marathon, Cardiff Half Marathon, Ultra Challenge series, skydives, bespoke treks.
- Schools Fundraising – a suite of fundraising products tailored to schools across all educational settings, including Number Day, the Kindness Challenge and Classmaster.
- DIY fundraising – supporters who choose to organise their own fundraising event or activity. Whether they take part with family or friends, at work or at school, we support them through stewardship and fundraising materials to help them reach their fundraising goals.
Job purpose
The role of the Senior Fundraiser is to project manage a number of fundraising activities within DIY fundraising and Schools Fundraising areas. The role will be responsible for managing DIY fundraising activity – managing acquisition and stewardship for DIY fundraisers, and playing a leading role in reviewing and streamlining user experience across mass, workplace and school audiences. The role will also take on project management of a Schools Fundraising product, managing all aspects of the product throughout its lifecycle. The Senior Fundraiser will be responsible for working as a proactive team member to ensure that the participation levels and net income from activities are maximised.

- To play a key role in maximising income for the NSPCC from new and existing supporters through DIY/Schools fundraising activity.
