We’re currently looking for a Personal Assistant to the Group Chief Financial Officer and Director of Membership & Inclusion, offered on a fixed term basis until the end of January 2027 as maternity cover, to help us deliver our mission. This is a part-time role (0.8 FTE, 28 hours per week, worked across four days Monday to Thursday), with an ideal planned start date in mid-June 2026.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You will provide high-quality Personal Assistant support to the Group CFO and the Director of Membership & Inclusion, ensuring their time is managed effectively and enabling them to deliver against the IOP’s strategic priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing complex diaries, ensuring effective prioritisation of commitments and forward planning
• Coordinating meeting preparation, including collating briefings and papers to the required standard and timelines
• Providing professional administrative support, triaging communications and tracking actions
• Booking and coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements
• Processing expenses and invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Supporting meetings through agenda setting, minute taking and action tracking
• Maintaining accurate filing systems and CRM records

Projects you may work on include:

• Supporting the planning and coordination of meetings, events and engagements involving the Group CFO and Director of Membership & Inclusion
• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of documentation and briefings for internal and external meetings
• Undertaking ad hoc administrative and coordination tasks to support CEO Office priorities

How will I be working?

We operate a flexible, trust based working model that gives colleagues autonomy over how, when and where they work, while recognising the value of in person collaboration. You will be assigned a base office, with hybrid working offered as standard. This role does, however, involve regular working every week at our head office.

The Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust protects, maintains and enhances the unique character of Hampstead Garden Suburb - an internationally important example of early 20th-century town planning and architecture.

The Architectural Support Officer plays a central role in this work. You will support the day-to-day operation of the Trust’s consent process, helping applicants and their advisers with applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring decisions are communicated clearly, professionally and with authority.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Architectural and technical support

• Support the architectural team in reviewing applications, including preparing summaries and assisting with research and policy.
• Maintain a strong working understanding of the Trust’s Design Guidance and relevant policies.
• Assist applicants in understanding how proposals align with the Trust’s requirements while being clear about the Trust’s role and the limits of advice that can be provided.
• Attend occasional site visits with colleagues to view properties and proposals.

Application and consent process

• Manage the administration of applications for Trust consent, ensuring they are registered, validated and processed efficiently.
• Act as a first point of contact for applicants and their advisers, providing clear guidance on process and requirements.
• Calculate and process application fees; raise invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Notify neighbours and manage consultation processes in line with Trust procedures.
• Prepare and issue decision letters and consent documentation.
• Track applications through each stage of the process, ensuring deadlines and actions are monitored and progressed.

Committee and governance support

• Prepare and circulate papers for Plans Committee and Trust Council.
• Take clear and accurate minutes and support follow-up actions.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations.

Records and systems

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applications, decisions and property information.
• Support ongoing improvements to record-keeping, processes and digital systems.

Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation primarily under legal aid contract. About the role

This role will coordinate, oversee and supervise the Legal Practice Unit’s legal aid billing operations. Through systematic and efficient management, the post-holder will play an important role in CCLC’s financial and operational sustainability. Working with the Managing Director of Legal Practice, the Heads of Department and Coram’s central finance team, the key objective of the role is to help maximise the unit’s legal aid billing in controlled work, certificated work and inter partes costs. It will also oversee private fees billing. The post-holder will oversee the smooth running of legal aid billing. In this role, the post-holder will work very closely with legal, operations and administrative staff. The role will act as a key point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders including Coram’s central finance team who will support the role with grant fund management and overall accounting functions for CCLC. The post-holder will support the Managing Director of Legal Practice and Children’s Rights and department heads in the successful maintenance of our relationship with the Legal Aid Agency.

The role would suit a legal aid billing professional with significant direct hands on experience of a range of types of civil legal aid billing (including controlled and certificated work) and an understanding of the challenges of legal aid. The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising the work of others but support and training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is interested in developing into management, is a proactive problem solver, is highly organised and able to maintain oversight over different workstreams ensuring progress. In addition to legal aid experience, they will need an aptitude for processing large amounts of data, developing and managing spreadsheets and improving organisational systems. They will be well supported through training, an enthusiastic and competent junior billing team, the central finance team and an outsourced legal cashiering company, as well as a friendly and collaborative management team including the Managing Director and the Heads of practice areas.

This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the billing team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period and there will be flexibility over how the working hours days will be spread across the week (within working hours). The team are mostly based in the London office and with one billing team member in Colchester so the postholder may require some occasional travel.

Rape Crisis England & Wales is the feminist charity working to end child sexual abuse, rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment and all other forms of sexual violence.

We are looking for a Finance Officer who can work in a fast paced and demanding role to support the organisation. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial. This role is responsible for ensuring that all financial matters are handled responsibly and involves processing transactions and journals, supporting month-end close, preparing financial reports for team members, and checking financial transactions for corrections and coding errors.

You will support payment runs on a bi-weekly basis and assist with payroll preparation, working closely with the Freelance Finance Manager and colleagues across the organisation.

This role follows a remote working arrangement, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer/Head of Operations and will involve working with colleagues across the organisation on the following tasks

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain books of prime entry, to include managing receipts and invoices and associated financial records, files and supporting documentation.

· Process accounts payable end-to-end, ensuring accurate and timely payment of all authorised expenditure (bi-weekly payment runs).

· Prepare sales invoices as required and support credit control to ensure debtors pay promptly.

The Katie Piper Foundation is seeking an experienced Finance and Business Manager to join our small, dedicated team in this newly created role, central to supporting our growth over the next three years.

You will lead all aspects of financial management, working closely with the CEO on budgeting, planning, and resource allocation. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day finances, producing management accounts, reporting to the Board, and ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.

In addition, you will help strengthen the charity’s wider operations, improving systems across IT, data, and reporting, as well as supporting risk management, policy development and measuring and communicating our impact.

This will be varied and evolvingrole suited to someone confident working across both strategic and operational areas, and comfortable driving organisational improvement.

We are a fully remote team. The role is home-based in the UK and part-time (28 hours a week, FTE 35 hours), and we are open to flexible working arrangements.There will be limited UK travel for team meetings and fundraiisng events. Release Counselling and Therapy for Women is entering an exciting new chapter. 

Founded in Brighton and Hove in 2013, Release has grown from a small local charity into a financially robust organisation with a growing national reach. Under the leadership of our outgoing CEO, the charity has been transformed—moving from a challenging financial position to one with strong reserves, clear sustainability, and ambitious plans for growth. 

We now provide affordable 1:1 online counselling to women across the UK, alongside specialist group programmes supporting maternal mental health and key life transitions. One-to-one counselling is a core offer and a vital income stream, enabling us to extend our reach while staying true to our values. 

This period has also seen Release grow to working with over 20 dedicated volunteer counsellors, strengthening our capacity and community impact.

About the role:

At Single Homeless Project (SHP), we believe that the right technology can be transformative - not just for our teams, but for the thousands of Londoners we support every year. As our IT Helpdesk Officer, based in Kings Cross, you will be at the heart of ensuring every colleague has the tools, systems, and support they need to deliver life-changing work. From maintaining a smooth and stable IT service across all our locations to working closely with third-party providers, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our organisation connected and effective.

This is a role where every day brings variety. You might be resolving a technical issue for a frontline worker in one of our services, managing system access to ensure our security standards remain high, or travelling across London to set up IT equipment in a new location. About you:

• Experience in Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support over a number of channels including face to face, phone, email, text, chat and video. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong organisational skills and shows enthusiasm to all duties. 
• Ability to manage issues and questions via a ticketing portal, updating clients in a timely manner and following tickets through to resolution. 
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware including cloud servers, desktops, laptops and network equipment. 
• High level of personal organisation with the ability to plan and prioritise own work. 
• Has experience in Microsoft applications like Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a proactive and organised Finance Officer to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and purpose-driven organisation committed to improving child health.

The Finance team plays a vital role in supporting the College’s mission by delivering an effective, integrated and customer-focused finance service. As Finance Officer, you will support the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations, working closely with colleagues across the College and helping to maintain accurate financial records and processes.

This role would suit someone who is highly numerate, organised and customer-focused, with experience in finance administration or ledger work. Previous accounting qualifications are not essential, but a good understanding of finance processes and strong attention to detail are important.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing finance-related enquiries through Topdesk and shared inboxes
• Supporting colleagues with expense claims, sales orders and purchase orders
• Assisting with sales and purchase ledger processes, including supplier and customer set-up
• Processing invoices, credit notes and financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Posting direct debit payments, supplier payments and customer receipts to the ledger
• Supporting reconciliation of customer and supplier statements
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting monthly management accounts processes
• Carrying out weekly bank reconciliations
• Supporting the year-end audit process and responding to auditor queries
• Assisting with ad hoc finance and system-related projects as required

Essential skills and experience include:

• Experience working within a sales and purchase ledger function
• Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service focus and ability to build positive working relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software
• Respect for confidential and sensitive information

Desirable:

• Experience using Business Central or similar accounting systems
• Experience working within a charity environment
• AAT or equivalent finance qualification
