We're looking for an experienced public affairs & influencing manager to lead Girlguiding's policy, influencing and external affairs agenda. Reporting to the head of corporate communications and external affairs, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping organisational positions on the issues that matter most to girls and young women, ensuring their voices are heard by decision-makers and helping to drive meaningful change.
In this role, you'll lead the development and delivery of high-impact policy and influencing strategies, working closely with government, parliamentarians, sector partners and internal stakeholders. What we’re looking for in our Senior Management Accountant:
- Fully qualified CCAB accountant

Join us as the Senior Remediation Legal Compliance Manager and play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring Peabody's fire remediation programme remains legally compliant, well-governed and aligned with evolving building safety legislation.
About the role
As Senior Fire Remediation Legal Compliance Manager, you'll lead Peabody's Fire Remediation Legal Compliance function, setting the standards, governance framework and assurance processes that underpin our fire remediation programme.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the programme operates within its legal obligations arising from contracts, legislation, leases, grant funding agreements and third-party arrangements. You'll also lead delivery of the Cladding Safety Scheme grant funding requirements, working closely with Homes England, internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance, transparency and successful programme delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead, develop and inspire a team of eight through two direct-report managers, setting priorities and building capability across the legal compliance function.
- Own the delivery of the Cladding Safety Scheme grant funding requirements, including applications, reporting, administration and assurance activity.

The role
You’ll play a key part in supporting the membership journey, from initial enquiries through to onboarding and ongoing administration.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing new membership enquiries and responding to members in a professional and timely way
- Coordinating introductory meetings, including diary management, invitations and follow-ups
- Reviewing prospective member profiles and matching individuals to the most appropriate membership groups based on factors such as professional background and location
- Supporting new member onboarding and ensuring all relevant actions are completed
- Maintaining accurate CRM and membership records
- Managing shared inboxes and keeping track of outstanding enquiries and actions
- Supporting membership subscriptions, renewals, payments, cancellations and invoicing
- Checking and reconciling information across different systems
- Preparing and sending member communications using agreed templates
- Maintaining trackers and providing clear updates on completed and outstanding work
- Providing wider administrative and operational support to the team as required
About you
We’re looking for an experienced administrator who is organised, accurate and comfortable working independently.
You’ll need:
- Strong administration, coordination and diary management experience
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several processes at once
- Confidence using CRM, database or customer/member management systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Clear and professional written communication skills
- Good judgement and the confidence to make straightforward decisions within established processes
- The ability to pick up new systems and ways of working quickly
- Experience working independently and managing your own workload in a remote environment
Previous experience within a membership organisation would be useful but isn’t essential. Experience supporting subscriptions, payments or renewals would be particularly beneficial, as would familiarity with systems such as Stripe, GoCardless, Xero or WordPress.
The most important thing is that you’re a capable, reliable administrator who can understand a process quickly, use common sense to resolve routine queries and know when something needs to be escalated.
This is a fully remote temporary role, available for 3–5 days per week, with some flexibility depending on the successful candidate. A start date of 12th October would be preferred to allow for a thorough handover.

Overview
The role of Foodbank Manager is to oversee the operations of the East Grinstead Foodbank, with concern for its efficiency and standards within the Trussell franchise. This will include the strategic direction and financial sustainability of the Foodbank and with the wider team the reputation of the Foodbank and its partnerships with other voluntary organisations and governmental organisations.

Strategic Leadership

Terms

The Communications & Community Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of member communications, community engagement activities and administrative processes across the organisation.
