At Ambitious about Autism we're currently looking for a Data and Insights Officer to join our National Services team.
You'll focus on the collection, analysis and reporting of data from National Services programmes, projects and services. You'll use systems and tools to effectively capture and store data and information, enabling effective reporting and insight. You'll provide advice and support to the Product Development Manager and Deputy Director of National Services.
You'll support National Services teams with the development of KPI and data collection routes and support with maintenance, troubleshooting and creative problem solving to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You'll create detailed reports and dashboards for use by teams, managers and leaders at agreed time points.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of using statistical tools and techniques to manage and analyse data
- Ability to translate the essence of complex data into language or formats others will understand
- Experience of producing qualitative and quantitative reports and analysing results to produce impact reporting
- Ability to present insights and results through written reports, dashboards and presenting face-to-face

We’re looking for a Science Communications Officer (Fixed term) to join our team
Salary: £35,000
Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid
Hours: Full time and fixed term for one year. 35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am – 7pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

The social media officer sits within Alzheimer’s Research UK's Digital department. · Working alongside the rest of the social media team to plan content within our management platform ‘Sprout Social’ and ensure we are maximising opportunities across our socials such as Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
· Identify optimal posting times and frequency to maximise audience engagement and reach.
· Work with the in-house video and design experts to produce eye-catching and compelling new assets which engage audiences with our brand message, raise awareness of dementia and dementia research and increase our reach and followers.
· Work with our senior social media officer to plan and deliver impactful video content across channels. Identifying opportunities to optimise long and short form video for the channels.
· Identify and encourage the use of sharable third-party and user generated content which aligns with Alzheimer’s Research UK’s brand messaging to support creative campaigns and initiatives.
Audience engagement and Relationship Building
· Monitor interactions across Alzheimer’s Research UK’s socials, proactively engaging with supporters to ensure they receive a positive experience.
· Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining high level of attention to detail to the brand voice in all social interactions.
· Be a confident and proficient communicator, able to adopt an appropriate tone of voice for each of our different audience types (including the communication of complex or sensitive issues. Able to communicate sensitively on several issues in a timely manner.
Reporting and Trend Analysis
· Produce insight driven and eye-catching regular reports on content for teams across the charity, to communicate key successes and areas for development, using your expertise and knowledge about the platforms.
· Proactively research, learn and suggest ways to improve our ways of working and efficiency by utilising emerging digital trends, such as artificial intelligence.
Internal Engagement and Collaboration
· Support teams across the charity with their social content, identifying opportunities to share our research, health information, fundraising and other campaign activities; as well as advising on best practice.
· Work with the Social Media Manager to enhance the Employee Advocacy Approach, fostering engagement and participation among staff in sharing social content.
Learning and Development
· Stay informed about the latest advancement in digital marketing, social media, tools and technology. Actively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge through the charities learning and development programme as well as external learning opportunities.
Compliance and Brand Standards
· Ensure all activities comply with our brand and data guidelines and meet the high professional standards of Alzheimer’s Research UK and represents the values of the organisation to the fullest
What we are looking for:
· Experience of working across social media channels for a medium-large size organisation.
· Experience of using a Social Media Management tool such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Falcon.
· Experience of reviewing and disseminating social media metrics and reports. Experience in project and campaign planning for social channels

About the Role
The Cybersecurity Officer will support the Cybersecurity Manager in protecting the charity’s digital assets and ensuring compliance with internal security policies and relevant international standards. • Monitor security alerts and reports from tools like Microsoft Defender, Bitdefender,
WatchGuard, and Cloudflare, escalating potential incidents to the Cybersecurity
Manager.
• Support user access management and ensure policies for identity and access control

• Help manage and track security awareness initiatives (e.g., phishing simulations via

• Assist in vulnerability scanning and basic risk assessments across networks and
systems.

The role
The Content Officer will play a key role in managing and developing BDF’s Knowledge Hub, our unique resource library of accurate, authoritative, and up-to-date information on business and disability. Emmaus UK is looking for a new Regional Communications Officer to directly support Emmaus communities in the North East and Yorkshire.
About the role
Our team of Regional Communications Officers support Emmaus communities and groups to increase their profile and engage supporters. You will work closely with up to four Emmaus charities to identify their communications needs, plan and deliver work to help achieve their goals.

Since 1997, NFS Mediation has been providing independent, and confidential mediation and conflict resolution services. Their work spans community mediation, restorative justice, hoarding interventions using cognitive behavioural approaches, and anti-social behaviour (ASB) assessments.
They now run one of the largest county-wide mediation services in England, operating as a values-driven organisation committed to building stronger, safer, more cohesive communities.
About the role
As Chief Executive Officer, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the organisation, holding the strategic vision, leading a dedicated and highly experienced staff and volunteer team, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and commissioners.
You'll:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and budgets, reporting to the Board
- Secure and retain funding through contracts and partnerships
- Lead, inspire and support the senior management and staff team
- Ensure the delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality mediation services
About you
You'll be a compassionate, values-led leader who understands how to bring people with you. You'll also be comfortable navigating both strategic oversight and operational leadership.
We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with:
- Proven senior leadership experience, ideally within the charity or voluntary sector
- A strong track record in service delivery and team development
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and reporting
- Emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative leadership style
Experience in mediation, restorative justice, or conflict resolution is welcome but not essential. What matters most is a commitment to NFS Mediation's mission, values and community-led approach.

The Partnerships Officer will join a team responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate, international, and strategic partners. You will support the delivery of high-quality partnership management across all stages—from proposal development and reporting to stewardship and event coordination. You’ll also take ownership of a portfolio of entry-level partners and can build your skills through hands-on experience.
We are also looking to recruit a Philanthropy Officer who will deliver and grow the Festival’s successful membership schemes, nurture supporter relationships, deliver engaging fundraising events and strategic donor communications, and design and implement creative and revenue-generating appeals and initiatives. With support from the Individual Giving Manager, you will work collaboratively across the Development team in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and creativity, as well as excellent time-management, communication and administrative skills.
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team work closely together to maintain and expand our supporter base. We are looking for people who share our passion for the arts and commitment to excellent service to continue to grow Festival’s reach and impact.

Youth Participation Officer
Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!
The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors.
For example, typically, this would involve working with groups of around 10 young people in each cohort and support them to deliver their community event project over a 12-week period. Examples of events include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and our community Christmas dinner. This post will be part of the delivery team overseeing self-directed community action projects. The post holder may also support drop-in sessions and other activities aimed at engaging young people and referring them onto the youth-led community action programme.

As CEO, you'll be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational delivery, and long-term sustainability of the charity.
