With over 10,000 shopping partners who donate a commission every time our members make a purchase, we have the power to turn ordinary shopping into extraordinary impact.

And almost everyone, regardless of age, background or location, can take part with just the click of their mouse - helping us to make communities on every continent safer, happier, healthier, better-aware and more sustainable places to live.
We’re seeking passionate Volunteer Ecommerce & Commercial Managers to help grow this unique programme. You’ll work to encourage more people to shop through our platform, strengthen relationships with retail partners, and help us maximise the funding we receive from every transaction.

Volunteer for an organisation empowering Tanzanian women and youth through sustainable farming
HERVEG.05
We help women and youth farmers grow nutritious food, raise poultry, and increase income sustainably.
HERVEG.05 addresses the critical issues of malnutrition, food insecurity, and poverty in Tanzania, which ranks among the top 15 countries globally for child stunting. Smallholder farmers, who produce the majority of the country's food, frequently lack the training and tools necessary to overcome poor soil fertility and climate-driven challenges. This creates a devastating cycle of low productivity and worsening hunger that permanently affects the development of millions of children.
The solution is a practical, climate-smart pathway designed for rural realities. HERVEG.05 utilizes a "Mobile layaway" system allowing farmers to purchase seeds and poultry inputs incrementally via phone. Their model includes hands-on training and last-mile delivery of inputs directly to remote village groups. By providing "Nutri-Reach Bundles"—which combine poultry, biofortified maize, and vegetables—the startup creates a circular economy. Poultry manure improves soil, biofortified crops fight malnutrition, and improved storage reduces waste. This integrated system builds resilience against climate change while simultaneously boosting family income and health.
Communication & Storytelling Officer
If you love writing, experimenting, and telling stories that actually mean something, keep reading.
We’re looking for a Communication & Storytelling Officer to manage our LinkedIn and Instagram and bring our work to life. You’ll turn real moments from women and youth farmers, field work, and impact into content people want to stop and read.
This role is for someone who:
- Loves writing clear, human, modern content (no corporate boring stuff).
- Enjoys trying new formats, angles, and ideas, then learning what works.
- Knows how to tell a story, not just post updates.
- Can run our LinkedIn & Instagram with consistency and creativity.
- Truly aligns with our work, food systems, nutrition, climate-smart farming, and real impact for rural communities.
You should care about why we exist, not just what we post. If our mission excites you, your writing will show it. If you believe stories can change how people see farmers, food, and climate, this is your space.
Short. Real. Creative. Impact-driven.
Minimum Hours per Week:
4-6 hours per week
Duration:
3-5 months
We connect professionals with impact startups matching their causes, skills & schedule.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

Volunteer Role · Global · Flexible Hours, to be discussed, starting ASAP in 2026!
Are you someone who:
Believes young people deserve better?
Wants to challenge outdated systems that have failed to prioritise menstrual wellbeing?
Feels called to build something bold, compassionate, and culturally transformative?
Thrives at the intersection of creativity, activism, and social impact?
Cares deeply about young people, emotions, cycles, and the hidden work of growing up?

Why this The Million Moon Campaign Exists
We’re bringing a groundbreaking global project to life in 2026 - a project that will shift how the world understands menstrual wellbeing and youth emotional literacy.
But we are not building it through the usual routes:
No venture capital.
No extractive profit-first models.
No gatekeepers shaping the direction of the work.
Instead, we are choosing to:
Place power in the hands of the community we serve - young menstruators, families, educators, allies.
Challenge the structures that have historically underfunded, misunderstood, or minimised menstrual health.
Prioritise care, safety, inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and emotional wellbeing over growth-for-growth’s-sake.
Build a model of ethical resourcing that is transparent, human-centred, and participatory.
Create a movement first, and a product second.
This volunteer role is for someone who wants to help shape a new way of doing social impact work, one that honors lived experience, builds global community, and bypasses the systems that haven’t served us.
The full details of the project will be shared with the successful volunteer, but for now, what you need to know is this:
You will be helping us launch a global campaign unlike anything else in menstrual wellbeing.
A campaign rooted in art, story, community, and change.
Your Role: Campaign Lead (Movement Builder)
As Campaign Lead, you will work closely with Howami’s co-founder Nikki Berridge to bring this campaign into the world. Because the founder is narcoleptic with limited working capacity, you will be the operational heart of the project, the person who turns big vision into clear, coordinated action.
What You’ll Gain
A front-row seat to building a global menstrual wellbeing movement
Experience leading a culturally significant, multi-layered campaign
Opportunities to work with artists, educators, youth advocates, and storytellers
Mentorship and collaboration with Howami’s founder
A chance to shape a project that could shift culture for generations
A meaningful role that genuinely changes lives
You will:
Help consolidate and organise all existing ideas, research, and creative development.
Hold and organise the project workflow.
Help create decks, briefs, and communications tailored to different audiences.
Reach out to aligned influencers, partners, schools, brands, and communities
Assist in shaping public-facing messaging and campaign materials
Support Nikki in the design and management of this global awareness campaign
Co-steer the movement with confidence, warmth, and imagination
Bring consistency, clarity, and structure to a creative, values-driven project
The technical knowhow and platforms needed to bring a campaign like this to life.
"All the above would be magnificent- but I also want you to know that you could take on 'part of this Role'. Passion is key so If any of this ignites something in you - reach out and introduce yourself." Nikki Berridge
You don’t need to know menstrual health deeply - ALL genders Welcome!
You DO need to care, communicate, organise, and be ready to create change.
Ready to help build something the world hasn’t seen before?
Please share a few lines on why this mission speaks to you and what capacity you have in the new year....
Best wishes,
The Howami team

- Charity finance/ Treasurer
- Marketing/ Social Media
- Fundraising/Retail
- Project management
You will gain new skills and experience as a Branch Trustee whilst enabling us to help animals in our area.
Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic people to take the role as a Charity Trustee, who could devote some time to volunteer for the Alton, Haslemere & Petersfield Branch and support us in boosting our local animal welfare work. Alongside using your expertise, this role will enable you to enhance how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals and drive the implementation of key initiatives. You will serve on the governing body of the charity and be instrumental, alongside fellow Trustees, in the running of the Branch and the implementation of a development plan. At a minimum, you would normally be expected to attend a monthly online committee meeting and to spend further time driving forward our activities.
The Alton, Haslemere & Petersfield RSPCA Branch
We are the local branch of the national RSPCA, but we are also a separately registered charity looking after animals in our local area.
The Branch is in an enviable financial position and employs an experienced member of staff as Branch Manager. Once additional Trustees are in place, we expect to move towards CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) status.
Our main current activities are:
- Providing financial assistance to local people unable to afford unexpected vets’ bills. In the past year, we have allocated £40,000 to this area.
- Collecting petfood donations, which we collate and then pass to our local foodbanks.
- Re-homing cats in the Alton part of our area, organised in co-operation with the neighbouring RSPCA Branch.
- Some fundraising activities, including organising fun Dog Shows.
- We are looking to recruit at least three new trustees to work on significantly developing the Branch over the next few years. Initiatives we are considering are:
- Establishing a comprehensive fostering and re-homing network, across the entire Branch area.
- Major income generation initiatives, including opening our own shops.
- Developing our own animal centre resources, possibly in co-operation with private sector providers in the Branch area.
Core Branch Trustee responsibilities
- Appreciate and support the aims and policies of the RSPCA.
- Work in conjunction with fellow Trustees and Branch Officers and jointly act in making decisions for the best interests of the Branch and the RSPCA.
- Assist the Branch, as appropriate, to work with and assist national RSPCA staff, including but not limited to Inspectors.
- Actively participate in Branch committee meetings and to attend the Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM).
- Actively promote and advertise the society in an ongoing programme to recruit new Trustees and volunteers and welcome new members.
- In conjunction with fellow Trustees, ensure the proper management and control of all activities and decisions.
What we are looking for in a volunteer
We are committed to creating a Board which is representative of our society and encourages people from any background to apply. You will need to be able to work with people and have good interpersonal skills.
What we can offer you as a volunteer Branch Trustee
- Ongoing support provided by our Branch Manager and assistance from relevant national RSPCA staff.
- The platform to utilise your skills and experience to oversee the charity and make decisions that will enhance local animal welfare.
- The opportunity to gain new skills and develop existing ones, whilst making a real difference to the lives of animals.
- A way to expand your professional and personal network through working with like-minded people.
Practical considerations
- To become a Trustee, you will need to be aged 18 or over and have become a member of our Branch.
- Trustees are elected annually.
- You must not be disqualified from being a Trustee. Please read the Charity Commission’s guidance on who can be a Trustee of a charity.
- You will need to sign a Trustee Declaration of Willingness to Act, clarifying that you are not disqualified from being a Trustee.
- References will be required.
How to find out more about being a Trustee
For more information on becoming a Charity Trustee and to ensure it is the right decision for you, we recommend reading the Charity Commission's guidance on the role of the trustee and the RSPCA website about Branch Trustees.
We have an online session about Becoming a Branch Trustee, which should hopefully give you more of an idea of what the RSPCA Branch Trustee role will involve
If you’ve got the drive and compassion to volunteer with the RSPCA and are passionate about improving animal welfare, we’d love to hear from you!
Please visit our website to learn more about what we do.
We hope you are interested in volunteering for the Alton, Haslemere & Petersfield branch
Our voluntary roles are subject to an informal interview and trial period. We will ask you to provide contact details for two referees, and dependent on the position, you may need to sign an agreement and undergo specific training before starting the role.
