The role and your key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.
You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).
Your key responsibilities will include:

Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.

Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

We are looking for a full-time administrator to support the smooth running of the Education and Training Department. Duties include general office administration such as diary management, preparing and circulating papers ahead of meetings, taking minutes, database management, maintaining inventory levels and supporting the department with various education and outreach activities. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic Internal Auditor to join our high performing Risk and Compliance team as a Senior Auditor.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Being accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of audits to time and budget whilst managing conflicting priorities.
- Planning, undertaking and reporting on audits across the Federation’s Head Office and 55 academies.
- Identifying, assessing and reporting on the risks arising from areas under review.
- To complete follow up exercises on previously agreed recommendations.
- Providing assistance to the Internal Audit Manager in, or leading on, ad hoc audit work, projects and investigations.

Summary
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PAYROLL OFFICER
The Payroll Officer will undertake end-to-end payroll administration tasks and work within an agreed control framework and in line with agreed monthly timetables and service levels to deliver payroll processing for all relevant payrolls.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for payroll-related queries from individuals (staff, clergy etc.) and customers (NCIs HR, dioceses, Bishops' offices etc.
- End-to-end payroll processing for all relevant payrolls (starters, leavers, changes, variance checking etc.).
- Responding to enquiries (by phone, email, online) from payees and payroll customers (NCIs, dioceses, Bishops' offices etc.) on a timely basis, demonstrating high levels of customer service.
- Administration of overpayment process and death in service process.
- Undertake payroll processing tasks including PAYE, NI, student loans, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, parental leave, statutory payments, court orders, GAYE, other personal deductions, and tax year start/tax year end etc
- Provision of information for internal and external audit processes as required.
- Proactive and strict management of the payroll cut-off deadlines, including sending email reminders.
Key Role Requirements
- This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work from the office (Church House, London or The Old Brewhouse - Bishopthorpe, York) 1 day per week on Tuesdays.
You will need to be/have:
- Experience of working within a payroll environment using computerised payroll systems.
- Experience of dealing with a large and varied customer base.
- Experience of working in a collaborative, team environment.
- Familiar with basic UK payroll legislation.
- Level 3 National Payroll Certificate or similar (e.g CIPP) (Desirable).
- Experience of using Oracle HCM Cloud (Desirable).
- Up to date knowledge of IOM (ITIP and IOM NI) and Channel Island payroll (SI Soc Sec) legislation (Desirable).

- A salary of £34,801, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

About Us
School of Hard Knocks (SOHK) is an education charity that exists to empower and support young people who are living in complex and challenging circumstances. By fostering an environment of genuine acceptance and through the use of physical activity, group sessions and one-to-one support sessions, SOHK enables people to find meaning and purpose to life. All of SOHK's activities are underpinned by an evidence-based sport for development framework called the 5Cs.
Overview
Exclusion from education happens when a child is suspended from school (temporarily or permanently) but it also happens when they are sent out of the class, put into an isolation room, or even wander around corridors doing all they can to avoid going to their lessons! With 32 million ‘learning days’ lost in 22/23 (up from 19 million, pre covid) this is serious societal problem with devastating lifelong consequences for young people – especially those from poorer backgrounds. SOHK is on a mission to help children experiencing exclusion, change their life trajectory.
With teams in England, Scotland and Wales, working with hundreds of ‘at risk’ students, we are looking to appoint a Regional Manager in South East Wales who will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of our programme in Wales. The successful candidate will ensure the alignment of delivery with our organisational goals and standards, line manage and support team members and maintain strong relationships with schools and other stakeholders. They will play a key role in monitoring outcomes, reporting progress, and driving growth to ensure the programme’s success.
A key element of this brand-new role is school retention and sales, ensuring that schools continue to engage with and invest in SOHK programmes. The Regional Manager will also be expected to grow the SOHK network in Wales and attending networking and fundraising functions as required. SOHK has ambitious plans to grow in Wales over the next 5 years with the Regional Manager playing a vital part in delivering this vision.

Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) is looking to engage the services of a results-oriented consultant with great people skills to set up CAP projects in high harm areas.
About Us
CAP sets up and supports local partnerships that aim to reduce alcohol harm in children and young people, improve their health and well-being and enhance their communities. Our mission is to create an alcohol-free childhood for all children and young people.
Role Overview
The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.
A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.
Key Responsibilities
· Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.
· Ensure that all new CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.
· Raise the profile of CAPs in Scotland and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.
Specific duties to include the following:
o Represent CAP at all operational meetings.
o Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.
o Liaise as appropriate with strategic leads within local enforcement authorities and other partner organisations to initiate and complete agreed actions.
o Encourage all projects to achieve positive local media coverage including via social media and regional news/broadcast media.

We train volunteers to use games and other creative activities in primary schools in one-to-one sessions with children to help them gain confidence and skills in maths. Founded in 2018, we have already helped over 1,500 children. We now have 115 volunteers running weekly sessions. This year they are helping 334 children in 38 partner schools across London, and we plan to continue to grow organically every year to support more children.

CEO role
The CEO will be a new permanent role, reporting to our founder Chair and to the board of trustees. You will take on all aspects of managing our award-winning charity and drive the board process of setting and delivering strategy. This will include financial management of the charity and involvement in fundraising. This is in the context of our succession plan, whereby our Chair will hand over the executive responsibilities which he currently exercises on a pro bono basis. This is a senior role requiring a proven track record in managing highly effective alumni relations or similar membership programmes, including strong events and communications experience. The role requires the drive and creativity to use events and communications skills to deliver an innovative engagement programme. This varied role spans relationship building and donor stewardship activities, so also offers the opportunity to develop fundraising knowledge and experience. We are a very friendly team of seven in an ambitious college, with a real sense of purpose and a great deal of exciting work taking place.
