About the role
You will play a central part in generating the income needed for Ursuline Links to meet its annual and long term goals. Working closely with the Chair of Trustees and the Director, you will shape our fundraising strategy, build donor relationships and secure essential funding from a variety of organisations.

This is a mainly remote role with around one in person meeting each month in East London.

What you will do

• Develop a fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Chair of Trustees and the Director
• Prepare and submit high quality funding applications
• Build strong relationships with grant making organisations and respond to enquiries
• Attend occasional fundraising events and conferences when required
• Track and analyse fundraising progress and report to trustees twice yearly
• Work with the Director of the Ursuline Education Community charity to support fundraising for the virtues programme

Primary purpose of the role:

WECare’s Finance Officer will support the Head of Finance in the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported. The role will play a key part in maintaining financial transparency and strong financial controls across the organisation, particularly in managing donations, supplier payments, and internal financial processes. About The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Officer to join our thriving Events Marketing team. If you enjoy creating meaningful marketing campaigns, working collaboratively, and using data to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll help plan and deliver primarily digital, multi-channel marketing campaigns that inspire people to take part in our sports, challenge, and mass participation events. Your work will play a direct part in growing our community of supporters and increasing the impact we can have for people affected by dementia.
About the team
You’ll be part of a close-knit team made up of a Senior Marketing Manager, two Event Marketing Campaign Managers, and three Marketing Officers. You’ll report to one of the Marketing Managers and work alongside colleagues across the wider Events team and Income and Engagement directorate.
Your marketing campaigns will bring new participants to our events, and you’ll also be involved in retention strategies to cross-sell our supporters into other fundraising products to build lasting relationships and help them discover other ways to get involved.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll collaborate with teams across the organisation, as well as with our media agency and external partners, to plan, brief, optimise and evaluate marketing campaigns. You’ll keep a close eye on performance and organise evaluations to make sure that we learn as much as possible from every campaign and continuously improve what we do.

In this role, you’ll:

• Co-opt a multidisciplinary leadership team to support you in your role. This team should reflect the multi-professional composition of regional services, as well as the geography and should include at least one person with Parkinson's.

• Drive engagement and participation with the Excellence Network at a regional level.

• Engage with Integrated Care Board (ICB) leaders to help influence the development of your Integrated Care System (ICS).

• Work closely with the Professional Engagement team at Parkinson’s UK to organise and hold engagement opportunities in your region. This will include working with the team to hold and lead at least one in-person meeting in your region per year.

• Attend the annual in-person PEN national and regional clinical Leads meeting.

• Support the PEN national calendar of events through attendance or promotion. This includes Excellence Hub meetings and other activities centred around our national priorities.

• Work closely with the PEN National Clinical Leadership Team (CLT) to discuss and review national and regional priorities. Attend a virtual meeting with CLT 2 times per year. 

What you’ll bring:

• You’ll be a UK-based clinical healthcare professional, working in Parkinson’s or with extensive interest and expertise in the condition, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Healthcare professionals living with Parkinson’s are also encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager, you'll support, maintain and enhance our enterprise infrastructure across Azure cloud, identity, endpoint, network and core platform services. Monitoring and developing our Covid-19 Inquiry Recommendations Tracker, you will be an essential conduit for influencing policy and campaigns, part of a small but highly effective team. 

Job description

• Take overall responsibility for the Inquiry Recommendations Tracker, including its development, structure, accuracy and upkeep.
• Ensure the tracker is kept fully up to date, with progress on each recommendation accurately recorded and supported by relevant evidence.
• Monitor developments relating to Inquiry recommendations, including government responses, implementation activity and public statements, and provide colleagues with clear analysis to inform campaigning and parliamentary engagement.
• Gather and assess information from a range of sources to inform the tracker, including official publications, parliamentary material, stakeholder engagement and direct correspondence.
• Draft policy reports following module report publications, including analysis of recommendations and supplementary recommendations where appropriate, and provide briefing material to support campaign and parliamentary activity. 
• Engage with members to ensure their feedback and lived experience inform reports, supplementary recommendations and the Recommendations Tracker.
• Work with colleagues to ensure policy outputs support wider campaigning, parliamentary engagement and communications activity.
• Help identify gaps, weaknesses or areas of concern in implementation, and support the development of evidence-based proposals for further action.
• Maintain clear internal records and documentation relating to recommendations, progress updates and evidence gathered.
