Join as a Community Fundraising Executive (Stewardship) to play a key role in delivering exceptional supporter experiences that inspire and retain our mass and mid-value community fundraisers. 

You’ll manage and enhance supporter journeys, ensuring that key supporters feel valued, heard and connected to the impact of their contributions. This includes designing and delivering high-quality communications and resources, responding to supporter feedback and using data and insight to improve engagement and retention. You will also support the delivery of income and stewardship targets, helping to monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Collaborating with the Digital Marketing team, you will ensure that Community Fundraising content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with our values. You will also liaise with external suppliers to produce on-brand materials and contribute to charity-wide stewardship initiatives that enhance supporter loyalty and celebrate fundraisers.

We’re looking for you to have experience in community fundraising or supporter stewardship, strong relationship-building and excellent copywriting abilities. The South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC) is a highly successful and well-established charity in operation for 40 years with modern premises located in central Purley with free parking and close to the station. Working closely with the public health sector, we provide therapies, counselling and group activities to those affected by cancer.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced community fundraiser who will play an instrumental role in our established as well as new fundraising events, community engagement, stewardship, increasing awareness of the Centre as well as income generation.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Engage, inspire and encourage supporters, schools, community groups and high street businesses fundraising on behalf of the charity, helping them to achieve their full potential by providing a positive supporter journey.
2. Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters, securing sustainable growth of income and supporter numbers
3. Research and approach local businesses to gain support from them and their customers through fundraising e.g sponsorship of events, cause related marketing and social media platforms
4. Represent SECHC at fundraising meetings, presentations and events outside of normal office hours (evenings and weekends) as required (toil given)
5. Sourcing supporter case stories to support fundraising and impact reporting.
6. Proactively seek opportunities for fundraising events both at the Centre and within the local community.
7. Manage and maintain our KindLink giving platform
8. Provide admin support to the Senior Community & Corporate Fundraising Manager
9. Develop close and effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a culture of collaboration.
10. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Person specification

• Experience and knowledge of community fundraising

About the role

We are currently seeking a Project Driver to provide reliable and safe driving services for staff, partners and assist with transport logistics. The driver will also be responsible to ensure that the pool vehicles are maintained in a cost-effective manner by overseeing routine and preventive maintenance. 

As the Project Driver you will ensure the safety of staff and partners when transporting them, follow up the driver planning and scheduling using project Calendar and register transportation requests, and deliver correspondence to project partners when required.

Further duties and responsibilities include:

• Monitor vehicle mileage use and ensure that routine and regular service and maintenance is carried out.

• Schedule periodical vehicle examination for service.

• Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, and keep track of general maintenance schedules.

• Ensure sound running of the vehicles assigned and arrange minor repairs where necessary - check oil and tyres properly and keep the service vehicles in clean condition, both inside and outside.

• Perform pre–trip and post trip inspection of the vehicle and attend to any noted faults and defects.

• Update monthly mileage records - maintain logbook of each service vehicle on daily basis.

• Be proactive in providing the program team at site with timely communications and updates upon reaching/departing your respective destinations during the official travels throughout the project life.

• Provide logistical support to project activities in the office and during field activities.

Skills and Experience

As the successful candidate you will have experience working as a Driver in a previous role, preferably in an international organization, Embassy or UN system, but this is not essential.

Further requirements include:

Essential

• Driving school training or equivalent.

• Valid Class C driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Previous professional experience driving preferred; training may be provided.

• Experience of a professional driving role, ideally in an NGO environment.

• Computer literate – basic computer skills like use of word and excel packages.

Desirable

• Experience in defensive driving is desirable

This could include ensuring that medication is arranged from the hospital pharmacy, someone is at home to greet them, food and heating are available, and the condition of the home is safe to return to. You may be required to liaise with Adult Social Care and other home providers to coordinate home support. You’ll follow up on calls or visits to ensure the patient is managing well at home. By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced.

• Has experience working with vulnerable adults in social care, healthcare, or the community/voluntary sector

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.

Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

About the role

Individual giving is a fantastic, high performing team, generating over £20 million fundraised income per year. Your role will help to plan and develop fundraising strategy, budget management, as well as being responsible for delivering campaigns of significant scale and generating income both now and for the future.

If successful you will be responsible for reaching out to thousands of people across the UK to find new committed supporters, as well as growing long-term engagement with existing supporters through retention communications.

Key to this role is building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help deliver engaging marketing campaigns at scale, across a wide range of channels and activities (including face-to-face, DRTV, direct mail, digital), driving vital income to support the charity’s research and care objectives.

About you 

You’ll have good experience of running direct marketing activity to generate income, working with suppliers and at scale to solicit funds from tens of thousands of supporters.

A well organised person with excellent communication skills, you’ll be managing relationships with key external agencies and in house stakeholders to deliver complex, multi-faceted campaigns while closely monitoring and managing significant expenditure budgets. You’ll have a real focus on monitoring key campaign metrics to optimise performance.

Working across email, online, telemarketing, direct mail, door to door and private site, you’ll understand supporter motivations, and how to increase supporter engagement, testing and evolving our campaigns to best fit what works for our supporters and ensuring that the Breast Cancer Now brand ethos is at the heart of all communications.

The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, are seeking a talented individual to join our ambitious fundraising team as the Events Manager. You’ll be experienced in event management, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask. You’ll work across fundraising teams to engage our incredible supporters through specific events including Wrong Trousers Day, Great Bristol Run, Grand Walk, and other stewardship and engagement events.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice has a proud history of delivering exceptional care and support to patients and families. Fundraising is vital to ensuring we can continue this work, and our ambitious fundraising team plays a key role in achieving this.

The Community & Events Fundraising Lead will drive forward our community and events fundraising, working with colleagues, volunteers, and supporters across Northamptonshire to grow income, raise awareness, and deliver memorable, high-quality events and challenge activities that inspire long-term support.

Purpose of the Role:

• To lead and deliver the hospice’s community and events fundraising programme, ensuring income targets are achieved or exceeded.
• To manage and grow our flagship events (including Twilight Walk, Cycle4Cynthia, Colour Run, and the 40s Big Band Bash).
• To oversee and develop our challenge events programme, including open challenges and bespoke hospice challenges.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 Events & Challenge Fundraising

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate the hospice’s calendar of flagship events (Twilight Walk, Cycle4Cynthia, Colour Run, 40s Big Band Bash) ensuring high-quality participant experience and strong income return.
• Manage the development of challenge events, including open challenges (e.g. skydives, treks, marathons) and bespoke challenges created by the hospice.
• Research, propose, and launch new event opportunities that reflect supporter interests and market trends.
• Set and manage budgets for all events, ensuring strong ROI and accurate forecasting.
• Work with Marketing & Communications colleagues to deliver compelling event campaigns that maximise participation and sponsorship.

Community Fundraising

• Build, support, and steward relationships with community groups, schools, faith groups, businesses, and clubs to grow grassroots fundraising.
• Deliver inspiring talks and presentations across the community to raise awareness and income.
• Provide excellent supporter care for all community fundraisers and volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported.

Income Generation & Monitoring

• Set, monitor, and achieve income and expenditure targets across events and community fundraising.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial and supporter information using Donorflex (fundraising database).
• Provide reports, updates, and insights for senior staff, colleagues, and Trustees as required.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide clear line management to the Events & Community Fundraiser, including supervision, appraisals, and professional development.
• Recruit, support, and work alongside volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, retail, communications, and clinical teams to maximise opportunities.

Other

• Act as an ambassador for the hospice at all times.

•  To ensure all events and activities comply with codes of fundraising practice, charity law and Hospice policies and procedures, minimising risk and establishing Health and Safety controls.

About the role

You will maintain and support our data systems and IT infrastructure across our services, responsible for managing CRM systems and supporting with first line IT queries which could include ticketing requests, troubleshooting, technical issues, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate is a resilient PBS professional with experience influencing and supporting staff teams. You will be a compassionate, solution focused professional who has experience providing person-centred support for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviour. You must have a good understanding of regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements, as well as legal frameworks such as the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and DOLS.

As an excellent communicator, both verbally and written, you will have the ability to work under pressure while remaining calm. IT skills and confident and confident use of computerised systems are required for this role. We are looking for someone with strong statistical abilities to be able to translate and analyse complex data.

Other Requirements: a valid driving Licence and access to a car.

Working Hours

You will be working alongside Support Workers due to the nature of the role so you will need to be available and have flexibility to work under project rotas, and to attend Clifton Place for trainings and meetings when needed.
