We are looking to recruit a Youth Programme Coordinator, for a minimum commitment of 6 months, to manage our Youth Programme. The Youth Programme works with young refugees and asylum seekers in the Epirus region of Northern Greece, providing them with a sense of community and experiences that they wouldn’t otherwise receive!

In this role,  you would be coordinating the daily planning and delivery of activities for young refugees in the sites in which we're operating in the Epirus region of Northern Greece.

The programme usually consists of English classes, thematic and social and emotional learning workshops and excursions. The programme engages children between the ages of 8 and 16.

For this role, you would initially work as a Youth Programme team member so that you could develop an understanding of the programme, the people involved, and the organisation as a whole.

Your role would include:

• Coordinating, delegating, and managing a team of 2-5 team members in the daily operations of the Youth Programme

• Directly supervising and supporting team members, providing feedback to ensure the quality of the programme remains high

• Delivering effective inductions to transfer key skills/knowledge to team members

• Developing the current programme in coordination with the Education Manager and Youth Programme team members

• Assessing the impact and effectiveness of the programme in line with its objectives

• Planning and delivering effective and dynamic educational and outdoor activities, within a theme-based curriculum

• Training new team members in appropriate behavioural management techniques

• Capturing data and compiling evaluation reports on the programme

Kaleidoscope is a grassroots NGO, working with displaced accompanied and unaccompanied teenagers aged 12-18 in Calais and Dunkirk, northern France. We work across informal living sites, day centres and safehouses to provide safe, youth-focussed spaces and activities to promote trauma mitigation, emotional regulation and identity building. We plan and facilitate a range of activities and workshops in response to the needs and wishes of the teenagers we work with, including arts, sports, music, woodwork, cooking and games, to empower and support them to grow in their identity, self expression and learning of practical and technical skills. Most importantly our sessions build trust and a space of safety that helps mitigate the vast trauma that teenagers have experienced in and before arriving in northern France.

We are looking for volunteers to join our team based across Calais and Dunkirk. Volunteers play a crucial role in the planning and delivery of our youth activities and sessions for displaced teenagers aged 12 to 18. As a small, grassroots organisation our volunteers also contribute to the day-to-day running of our project and have the opportunity to support and shape our work on an operational level.

As an Activities Organiser, you'll bring your skills, energy and enthusiasm to lead, develop and plan activities and events with your local group. Connection Support has a range of services providing support to people at risk of homelessness or on the edge of needing social care. We work with people made vulnerable through debt, mental health issues, substance misuse, learning disability, and physical disabilities.

Volunteers play a key role in the provision of vital services to our clients.

What does the role involve?

The Dementia Wellbeing Service provides practical and emotional support ​to help older people live independently and safely at home for as long as possible, stay socially engaged and carry on doing what they love. The service supports Camden residents over the age of 55 in the early or moderate stages of dementia.

You will work one-to-one with people in their own home and in the community, providing invaluable practical and emotional support and engaging the person in activities and opportunities that interest them through their wellbeing plan.

Role Purpose

The Clothing Bank Volunteer plays an important role in supporting individuals and families experiencing financial hardship by helping to provide access to good-quality clothing and essential items. Volunteers assist with the day-to-day running of the clothing bank, ensuring donations are sorted, organised, and distributed in a welcoming, respectful, and dignified manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organise donated clothing, shoes, and accessories.
• Check donated items are clean, safe, and suitable for distribution.
• Help maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming clothing bank environment.
• Assist service users in finding suitable clothing and essential items.
• Replenish displays and stock as required.
• Support the collection and preparation of clothing packs for individuals and families.
• Record donations and stock levels where required.
• Promote dignity, respect, and confidentiality for all service users.
• Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and partner organisations.
• Follow Hope Community Project's policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

The Dementia Services supports people to live independently and safely at home for as long as possible, stay socially engaged and carry on doing what they love. The service supports Camden residents over the age of 55 in the early or moderate stages of dementia.

We offer clients from the Dementia Services (befriending and wellbeing) a short performance or creative activity delivered by a volunteer visual artist, musician, dancer, actor, performer, and other creative artforms. You may choose to share a creative hobby or an art form you practice professionally.

What does the role involve? 

·Share your creative talent or hobby with older people living with dementia by delivering a short performance to an older person at home or providing an opportunity for them to participate in a creative activity.

·Visit a minimum of 4 times per year for up to 1.5 hours each time, including 20/30 minutes for the performance/activity.

·Provide opportunities for connection with older people during your visit through conversation and engagement.

• Liaise with service coordinators to link with clients who have asked to receive these visits/calls.
• Provide feedback after every performance, including positive impact, improvements to the delivery of visits or concerns regarding the client.

What are the benefits for people living with dementia?

 Many of the clients we support in this service are housebound or do not have the confidence or opportunity to attend events. Some clients may be artists, performers and creatives in their own right who do not get an opportunity to engage with or experience this aspect of their lives anymore.

Giving people who are living with memory loss an opportunity to be part of creative activities is a stimulating, fun way of putting them in touch with memories, other people and the wider community.

Bringing your artform into peoples’ homes can have a huge impact on reducing isolation, encouraging connection and bring a sprinkle of joy to those living with dementia.

We are looking for people who have:

• An interest in sharing or performing their creative, artistic skill whether you are a hobbyist or a professional: 
• Singing

·Playing a musical instrument

·Visual art activity

·Poetry/acting

·Dancing

·Culture-specific art/music/dance/poetry

These are just a handful of examples, but we will consider applications from a variety of artists/musicians/ performers and are open to suggestions.

Volunteering Hours 

Performances/activities:Usually approx. 20 -30 minutes but 1-1.5hrs are assigned to the visit

 Minimum of 4 - 6 visits a year (you can opt to do more). 

Visits will be a time agreed between you and the older person you are matched with.

Please note, early morning and late evenings are generally not suitable times for visits.

• Induction to Dementia Befriending and Dementia Wellbeing Services and relationships, how to deliver a performer visit
• Safeguarding Adults online course

Mind In Enfield and Barnet combines over 50 years of experience to improve peoples mental health in Enfield, Barnet and beyond. We are led by lived experience and driven by a passion to support and protect people’s mental health in ways that they want.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Meet and Greet to support the Therapy Team at Mind in Enfield and Barnet (MiEB). This role involves sitting at the reception desk and acting as a first point of contact, helping to create a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment for clients, visitors and staff. You will offer clear directional guidance, practical assistance and information about services and activities, helping people feel safe, comfortable and supported when they arrive. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with others and contributing to a positive, inclusive space for individuals accessing mental health services.

• Help create a friendly and inclusive environment by greeting clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

• Identify and approach local high net worth individuals/businesses to approach for a regular donation
• Develop a donor relationship strategy aimed at maximising engagement and satisfaction.
• Personally reach out to existing donors to thank them for their contributions (& send seasonal cards/other personalised messages to maintain positive relationships).
• Build relationships by engaging with donors via phone calls and emails to understand their motivations for donating and gather feedback used to improve our efforts.
• Encourage previous donors to continue their support.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all our donor interactions to ensure we have up-to-date information on our supporters.
• Create and distribute surveys to gain insights into our donors’ needs and expectations.
• Further down the line, host webinars or live Q&A sessions to answer donor questions and provide updates on our work.

This role ensures that every document a participant receives is beautifully branded, highly professional, and easy to understand.

• Collateral Design: Create promotional digital flyers, posters, and PDF booklets for specific initiatives like Walk for Paws
• Document Standardisation: Take raw text from the operations team and turn it into beautiful, professional trip itineraries, kit lists, and pre-departure guides using Canva templates.
• Asset Toolkits: Build and update "Fundraising & Marketing Packs" that our Volunteer Adventure Ambassadors and external partners (like gyms or hiking groups) can use to promote our fundraising adventures
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual assets, fonts, logos, and tones of voice match our guidelines across all media.

Required Experience & Skills

• Mid-level graphic design or marketing coordination experience (exceptional proficiency with Canva is essential; Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus).
