Job Purpose

As Director of Partnerships, you will:

•  Lead on partnerships fundraising, including major donors, trusts & foundations, and corporates with a focus on securing six-figure multi-year agreements to significantly grow funds raised in this area from £1.6 million to £4.5 million by FY30, in line with Operation Smile UK’s multi-year strategy.
• Foster and facilitate collaboration across different departments within OSUK.
• Ensure business as usual is achieved in line with operational plans, while also exploring and implementing innovative initiatives and campaigns to ensure the future success of partnerships' fundraising.
• Represent OSUK at a leadership level, building relationships with industry peers and peers within the Operation Smile global team to ensure best practice across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

Philanthropy Leadership

• Leads strategy, planning and operation of the major gift, trusts & foundations and corporate giving channels.
• Develops annual business plans and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director (ED) and Executive Team.  
• Strategically identifies and qualifies potential new donors to grow the prospect pipeline.
• Prepares development communications: solicitation and acknowledgement letters; case statements and proposals; stewardship reports; briefing notes; gift agreements.
• Identifies, cultivates, and solicits major gift commitments from high-net-worth individuals
• Monitors activity of the team, ensuring that benchmarks are achieved, including submission of solicitations, donor contacts and meetings, confirmations of donations, and other performance indicators as related to the team checking their portfolio.
• Provides the organisation with the interpretation of market trends and emerging issues that could impact the organisation’s partnerships fundraising stream.
• Ensures the effective collection of donor information and tracking of points of contact in accordance with best practices; provides and presents statistical analysis to senior leaders.
• Leads on data mining, prospect research, and ensuring the quality of data as it relates to the donors they work with.
• Develops and manages relationships within their own portfolio, personally conducting cultivation visits, solicitation calls and stewardship activities as required.
• Effectively manages fundraising resources and practices ethical fundraising.

HR Management

• Leads, mentors, and manages a team; regular meetings to provide direction, coaching and delegation to the partnerships team.

Financial Management

• Manages and implements approved business plans, ensuring that the annual revenue objectives and budget are met or exceeded, and oversight of the partnership’s departmental budgets.
• Provides leadership in the delivery of statistical analysis, projections, and detailed reports on partnerships fundraising goals and performance that may be used to contribute to the development of internal budgets.

Partnership Sustainability

• Develops donor relationships by researching, sourcing, cultivating, and stewarding existing and potential partners.
• Works to broaden sources of revenue, including working with corporate partners in various industries.
• Develops and implements a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors and corporate partners.
• Contributes innovative ideas to the development of new strategic partnerships and alternative revenue streams.

Other

• Other duties as assigned by the ED.
• Meetings with OSI and partner countries.
• Board reports/board meetings as required.

We’re looking for a confident and well-organised fundraiser to help manage and grow our corporate partnerships. You’ll develop relationships with existing and new business supporters, deliver engaging communications, and support the growth of income from companies, all while helping to protect butterflies, moths and the environment we all depend on.

Job Purpose
• Managing and growing relationships with existing corporate donors

Main Responsibilities
1. To directly manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, ensuring excellent stewardship and customer experience in order to meet agreed income targets and KPIs and maximise income for BC.

2. Develop and prepare tailored cases for support, proposals, reports and bespoke updates and communications to donors.

3. Identify, nurture, develop and manage new and existing corporate supporters including producing and communicating inspiring funding opportunities aimed at specific organisations.

4. Negotiate and deliver partnership agreements ensuring delivery against agreed targets and a good return on investment for the charity.

5. Monitor income targets and activities for Trading and Corporate fundraising including reporting to the BC Trading Company Board.

6. In conjunction with the Digital Manager, manage BC’s website shop portals and commercial partnerships to ensure a good level of royalties, proactive marketing, and supply of ethically sourced and sustainable goods.

7. Liaise with Communications and PR Team to ensure effective promotion of corporate and business agreements and timely reporting back on campaigns.

8. Update and maintain records of all business and corporate approaches, communications and agreements on the CRM and appropriate files.

9. Advise Branch volunteers where they seek to establish business support for their activities.

10. Where required, develop and/or follow policies and procedures on due diligence, data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting.

Reading Specialist - HMP The Mount

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons.  We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP The Mount. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. 

This role will be prison based. Merton Winter Night Shelter provides a much-needed emergency shelter for the homeless during the coldest winter months. We offer a warm, safe and respectful place, with a welcoming environment, providing hot food and professional support to those who would otherwise be on street. We offer an opportunity for guests to rest, recharge and be supported into a more sustainable and stable lifestyle. 

We are seeking a part time Project Assistant to work with the Project Coordinator, who leads the project on a permanent basis. Min 6hrs over 3 evenings per week and occasional management meetings outside of the shelter. This would be initially shadowing the Project Coordinator at the different shelter venues and then independently and unsupervised attending venues supporting venue convenors and their volunteers. The hours will include weekends and bank holidays.

Purpose of Job:

· Supporting the Project Coordinator in managing and coordinating the Night Shelter to ensure that all venues give a consistent service to all homeless persons accepted into the shelter, i.e., its guests.

· Standing in for the Project Coordinator in supporting shelter convenors and their volunteers on two evenings per week after initial induction.

· Assisting the Project Coordinator in providing advice and support to help each guest work through the challenges they are facing, recognising that homelessness is often a result of complex and multiple problems.

Responsibilities:

In close consultation with the Project Coordinator to:

· Liaise with the Host Venue Co-ordinators to ensure timely communication and information, particularly in maintaining the Shelter Log Book, to enable the smooth running of the shelter.

· Support guests who are using services for welfare, legal, debt, housing and other specialist issues, where necessary.

· Engage with vulnerable people in a sensitive, empathetic and professional manner.

· To assist in maintaining detailed case records ensuring all sensitive data is adequately protected and handled.

Main purpose of post
• Provide direct support to people affected by cancer by meeting in
person with or providing digital or telephone support to people using the
service (patients/clients, carers, relatives, professionals).
• Provide high quality information and support within defined level of
competence in relation to cancer. This will include assessment of service
users’ information and support needs (Holistic Needs Assessment/Cancer
Care Review), provision of written or verbal information, supportive
listening and action planning to facilitate self-management.
• Manage referrals from clinical teams in a timely manner, liaising with
clinical teams, primary care teams and community partners where
necessary.
• Provide care coordination around the individual to ensure their
experience of support feels seamless and is transparent, including
support from partner agencies.

What you do
Delivery of information and support to people living with and beyond cancer
and their families
• Provide information and support within level of competence of the post
(Macmillan Levels of Intervention Criteria L1,2,3,4; NICE approved four tier
model of psychological support Level 1, 2 & 3).
• This will include:
• Assess the needs of individuals attending / contacting the service and
identify the required level of intervention.
• Support users sensitively to help them understand clinical information
they have been given (e.g. around diagnosis, treatment, effects of the
illness and treatment, cancer terminology), helping to resolve situations
where users feel they have been given conflicting information. This will
include addressing concerns and queries and working to resolve them and
the ability to recognise and work within the limits of own competence and
responsibility is crucial, referring issues beyond these limits to relevant
people.
• Understand that there will be frequent exposure to distressing/ highly
distressing situations and deal with difficult and highly emotive situations
in a sensitive manner and base decisions on own professional judgement.

complex issues, directly involving others where necessary, e.g. Clinical Lead
(HCP), Cancer Information and Support Advisors, Head of Cancer Support
Services; Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS).
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective relationships
with partner organisations in primary and secondary and the voluntary the
sector via networking, also giving talks and presenting at relevant groups.
• Plan and deliver ‘pop-up’ information clinics, ensuring these pop-up clinics

Operational Delivery

About the role:

This role is based in Westmoreland & Furness or West Cumberland and will require travel around the County in line with Business need.

As an IDVA you will:

• Provide a high quality, pro-active service to victims of domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse.
• You will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and the Bridgeway, SARC and other local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence.
• You will work with survivors and other agencies to monitor the care pathway. This involves risk assessment, helping clients access their rights, along with any other services they require.
• You will be required to attend relevant meetings and will provide regular reports to your line manager.
• You will also undertake talks and presentations to local groups and agencies on the work of Victim Support, developing networks and partnerships and increasing the role of the service in the community.

You will need:

• Experience of working with victims of domestic and sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social or community setting.
• Experience of planning and delivering caseloads, with strong crisis management skills and an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.
• An approved and accredited IDVA and/or ISVA qualification or willingness to work towards this.
• Good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues and an understanding of the effects a court appearance can have on victims and witnesses of crime.

Your role in our vision

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Corporate Partnership Lead with a strong track record of growing, and managing high value Retail, strategic and commercial partnerships that exceed income targets and help to drive societal change. The successful applicant will be the external face and day to day lead for Marie Curie’s large, high-value corporate partnership with Morrisons.

 What you will be doing 

• Leading the day-to-day management and growth, of one of our high value partnerships, focusing on staff & colleague fundraising, cause related marketing and project funding to meet and exceed financial targets.

• Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Lead to identify strategic opportunities within the retailer that achieve partnership goals, support business objectives, and enable the partnerships to drive societal change.   

• Leading on the development and delivery of robust, creative, and commercially strong partnership plans, stewardship, communications, and fundraising plans, and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.

• Achieve and exceed financial targets agreed and report on all financial arrangements with corporate clients ensuring that all income and expenditure is accounted for and appropriately included in the budget. 

• Undertake day to day line management duties including setting objectives, holding regular one to ones, coaching and identifying development opportunities to nurture the talent of the team. 
• Actively committed to Marie Curie’s values, role models behaviours with authenticity and purpose.  

 Key Criteria: 

• Proven track record in Strategic partnership and project planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation in a commercial corporate-charity partnership setting.

• Experience with successfully pitching and retaining existing partners, from proposal development to employee vote strategies.

• Experience of meeting and exceeding income targets. 

• Experience of identifying, prospecting, and securing income opportunities with corporate partners. 

• Strong knowledge of corporate charity landscape, key sector and partnership trends, commercial insight, and awareness. 

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with a wide range of audiences at all levels.

• A creative thinker with an eye for detail who can come up with innovative ideas for company approaches, fundraising, communication, and stewardship campaigns. 

• A strong people manager with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

About Finance at Hope into Action 

The Finance function of Hope Into Action is small team comprising the Finance Lead, the Finance Administrator and a volunteer reporting to the Head of Operations. It is largely paperless and supports our 42 staff with accounts payable and receivable functions. It works in conjunction with the other departments to deliver timely, accurate and strategic financial information for both the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees. 

About the role 

The Finance Lead is a key role in enabling Hope into Action fulfil its vision of every church lovingly making a home for those experiencing homelessness.

The role is broad ranging from monitoring the Finance inbox to posting transactions on our Xero accounting system and producing the monthly management accounts within our target of 10 working days from the month end 

In addition, you will support the year end work by producing the schedules required by auditors, take a lead in the annual budgeting process, produce the biannual investor statements and compile the gift aid returns. 

You will be expected to meet regularly with budget holders to help them achieve their targets and/or devise a plan to bring them back on track.

About you 

We are looking for a self-motivated person with a passion for our work, tenants, staff, churches and mission. You will be adaptable and equally comfortable with bank reconciliations as writing a commentary on the management accounts. We employ people of hope where humility, a genuine desire to love and serve others, and strength of character are as important as any job description. Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Navigator to join our expanding team in partnership with Oxleas NHS Trust. Based at Memorial Hospital in Woolwich, you will be embedded within a multi-disciplinary team working on the Proactive and Frailty pathways. Your focus will be on supporting older people with complex needs, helping them navigate health and social care systems, and connecting them to relevant services across the community.

This is a key role that sits at the heart of person-centred care. You will attend multi-disciplinary team meetings, work alongside professionals including GPs, case managers and mental health staff, and spend time speaking directly with patients and their families. Your role will be to truly listen, identify what matters most to the individual, and help them take practical steps towards better health, independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and contributing to holistic care planning

• Working with patients to understand their needs, provide emotional support and signpost to local services

• Liaising with a wide range of professionals across the NHS, social care and voluntary sectors

• Inputting information into systems including RIO and Framework I, with training provided

• Keeping accurate records and contributing to service evaluation and improvement
