What you will do
- Use innovative techniques to grow the charity’s social media, email marketing and web presence, through the creation and optimisation of engaging content in a variety of formats.
- Continuously monitor emerging social media trends and platforms and assess their suitability to reach key audience members in the brain injury community.
- Use your expertise to schedule engaging content to promote Headway UK and raise awareness of brain injury
- Monitor and reply to comments and messages on Headway UK’s social media networks, including its online discussion forum.
- Analyse social media engagement data to extract actionable insights and create detailed reports that inform strategy and improve engagement.
- Be a passionate advocate for social media and digital communications across the Headway network.
- Use your passion for communicating with people to raise awareness by developing and telling the stories of brain injury survivors and their loved ones.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our research grant programmes across the entire funding cycle, from application and peer review through to award management and post-award administration. We’re looking for an experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our small, ambitious team and help secure the funding that makes our work possible.
Our Philanthropy team builds meaningful relationships with supporters, particularly charitable trusts and foundations, to secure a significant proportion of Future Frontiers’ income. We have a strong case for support, a track record of securing trusts and foundations funding, and an exciting pipeline of opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you’ll identify prospective funders, manage relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, and craft compelling funding proposals and reports that bring our impact to life.

Your responsibilities:
Write funding applications and reports
You’ll lead on developing high-quality funding applications, reports and proposals for charitable trusts and foundations that make a compelling case for support and bring our impact to life.

The Street Engagement Team is an innovative service that works across the West End/Westminster. The team offers an outreach response to people experiencing homelessness and also leads on several other CSTM projects that cover accommodation and health inclusion service offers.
