Northern Ballet is looking for a commercially minded, curious and collaborative Management Accountant to join our Finance team at an exciting point of change.

This is a part-time role (two or three days per week) ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with real insight, and who wants their work to directly support creativity, touring and long term sustainability.

The Role

Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll play a central role in producing high‑quality management information that supports confident decision‑making across the organisation. Alongside core accounting responsibilities, you’ll help shape the future of our finance function, from building a more flexible budgeting and forecasting approach to supporting the implementation of a new finance system.

You’ll gain exposure to every part of Northern Ballet, from performance and production through to fundraising, marketing and education, developing a deep understanding of how an ambitious touring arts organisation operates.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing accurate and insightful monthly management accounts for the Northern Ballet group
• Supporting annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, working with budget holders across the organisation
• Helping design and develop flexible budget modelling tools to support strategic planning
• Partnering with teams to improve financial understanding, ownership and control
• Advising the Development team on the financial elements of funding applications
• Supporting the preparation of Theatre Tax Relief and Film Tax Relief claims
• Playing a key role in the scoping, preparation and implementation of a new finance system
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and controls

About You

You’re someone who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful insight, and who feels comfortable building relationships outside finance. You bring rigour and attention to detail, but also curiosity and a desire to improve how things are done.

Essential

• Experience producing group management accounts
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office or equivalent
• A logical, structured and methodical approach

Desirable

• CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant
• Experience of charity or not‑for‑profit accounting

An exciting opportunity for a Data Services Manager has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). 

WCRF is the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity. 

We are seeking a Data Services Manager to lead and be responsible for the management, use and maintenance of systems and in-house CRM databases to support the achievement of the charity’s fundraising strategic objectives. You will be analysing and reviewing data and reporting on results that can then be used to build engagement with our supporters.You will also be responsible for a team of two people. 

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

As one of the founding funders of A Bed Every Night, we have been at the forefront of efforts to reduce rough sleeping in the city region. The funds we have raised have gone to frontline services offering a warm welcome, hot food, safe shelter and wrap-around support to help move people into more stable accommodation. A new role, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of this small charity's day-to-day finances, contracts, risk management plus managing the financial aspects of a £6.7m capital project.

The postholder will ensure that the charity’s budget and out turn are closely monitored and that established financial controls, spanning the procurement to payments cycle, are firmly adhered to. They will lead budget setting, forecasting, and financial reporting (including management of the external audit and production of the annual report and accounts) and will support wider work programme-planning for the charity, setting the foundations for financial success and sustainability.

They will lead the preparation for, and presentations at the charity’s Board and related finance committees.

In addition, the postholder will act as the central finance liaison with the Inns of Court of Inner and Middle Temple – TCT’s principal funders – as well as with other stakeholders, donors and cross-departmentally.

Candidates should meet the following essential criteria:

CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant

Experience in a senior/ management financial position in a charity/ not for profit

Experience of managing cash and investments.

Effective communications skills both written and oral

As Deputy Supported Housing Manager, you will play a central role in our Eastbourne and Hailsham services - supported accommodation for young people aged 16–25 who are at risk of homelessness. Our services operate 24/7 to provide a safe, stable home where young people can feel understood, encouraged and supported. You will be based at our Eastbourne Foyer, located in the heart of Eastbourne, where the service maintains strong connections with and contributes actively to the local community. The role also involves travel across Eastbourne and Hailsham to our other East Sussex sites.

Across our East Sussex sites, we work with around 50 young people, each with their own story, strengths, challenges and ambitions. Support Workers hold individual caseloads and meet regularly with residents to build support plans, celebrate progress, and set meaningful goals for the future. What you will be doing

As Deputy Supported Housing Manager, you will play a key role in the running, quality, and impact of our services. Working closely with the Supported Housing Manager, you will help lead a safe, supportive, and high‑performing environment where young people can thrive.

Service Provision

You will support the Supported Housing Manager with the day‑to‑day delivery of the service, ensuring we meet all requirements set out in the service specification and remain fully compliant with Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the full referral, interview, and induction process for all bedspaces and ensuring that every resident understands their Occupancy Agreement and House Rules.
• Maintaining the quality, safety, and presentation of the accommodation by working closely with our Housing and Property Services team to coordinate estate inspections, health and safety risk assessments, repairs, and the timely turnaround of void rooms.
• Supporting effective income collection across the service, working with the Rents team to build and maintain a positive rent‑payment culture among residents. 

Leadership and People Management

You will directly line‑manage members of the staff team, ensuring their practice, professionalism, and development reflect our high standards. You will:

• Provide coaching, guidance, and clear expectations to ensure staff feel confident, supported, and motivated in their work with young people.
• Create a team culture rooted in creativity, consistency, and best practice, ensuring staff are equipped to empower young people to reach their goals while maintaining appropriate and safe boundaries.
• Be responsible for creating and maintaining staff rotas to ensure adequate service coverage at all times.

General Responsibilities

• Participate in the management on‑call rota, offering out‑of‑hours support to services across the wider locality.
• Embed Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma‑Informed approaches, and restorative practices throughout your work, ensuring our support model is compassionate, reflective, and person‑centred.

Just as importantly, you will understand the importance of maintaining professional boundaries, modelling best practice for the team and the young people we support.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.

This includes developing the annual events strategy, managing income and expenditure, supporting ticket and table sales, sourcing prizes, and ensuring an exceptional supporter experience throughout.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, they will build and convert a pipeline of corporate partners, developing compelling proposals and securing new partnerships to meet income targets. They will also lead on the stewardship of these relationships, delivering tailored engagement plans that demonstrate impact and maximise retention.

Alongside delivery, the Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will monitor performance, manage budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and CRM data, working collaboratively with Fundraising and Marketing colleagues to maximise results.

Key Responsibilities

Major SOHK Events

• Events Lead: Take full ownership of the SOHK organised major events in England, Scotland and Wales.
• Develop and deliver an annual events strategy & Calendar that is aligned with FRT targets
• Set and manage event budgets, income targets and KPIs
• Ensure exceptional supporter experience at all touch points.
• Source high value auction and raffle prizes
• Work closely with FRT to sell tables & tickets at events.
• Ensure prize donors, table buyers and supporters have a great experience of SOHK – feeling thanked and appreciated.
• Plan thoroughly for post event stewardship and follow up

Corporate Partnerships (working with Head of Fundraising)

• Build a pipeline of potential corporate partners and continually seek to add to pipeline as needed
• Research and make high quality approaches
• Confidently write winning pitches and present at meetings
• Secure new partnerships to achieve income targets
• Stewardship: Act as the main point of contact for partnerships that are allocated to you; nurturing and strengthening the relationships
• Develop and implement tailored cultivation and stewardship plans to enhance partner engagement and retention
• Demonstrate the impact of partner contributions to maximise retention (alongside our Marketing & Comms Team)

Reporting, Monitoring & Budgeting

• Report as required on all activity and progress to the Head of Fundraising
• Monitor and manage expenditure related to fundraising activities – managing P&L sheet
• Ensure data capture for CRM (Beacon) from all events

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in event management, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of fundraising or engagement events
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, volunteers, and suppliers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organisation professionally
• Experience managing event budgets and delivering activity within financial targets
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of the role events play in fundraising, supporter engagement, and awareness-building
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event or CRM systems
• Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as required

Desirable

• Experience supporting or delivering corporate partnerships, sponsorships, or donor engagement initiatives
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and income generation through events

Terms of Appointment

• Salary range: £37,000 - £40,000
• Full-time
• 28 days annual leave entitlement plus public holidays.
• South East England (based). This role requires weekly travel to London, with occasional travel to other locations across the UK.
