Brief role description
The Senior Individual Giving Officer plays an integral role within the Fundraising team at the Forces Employment Charity (FEC). As part of the Marketing, Communication and Fundraising Directorate, you will be responsible for the delivery of the core elements of the individual giving programme, developing engaging products and activity across multiple channels to support income generation, identifying new audiences, optimising responses, growing the supporter base and contributing to the lifetime value of supporters.

Staff are currently working in hybrid locations with a general requirement to meet colleagues once a week in the office and to attend a monthly all-staff meeting in London, although we will always take into account personal circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
Plan, film, and edit short-form videos and other content (including Reels, Stories, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that show our services, staff, and community in action – explaining the impact of our work to patients, carers, professionals and fundraisers.
Capture photos at our Worcester HQ and at events, patient groups, or partner sites around the country.
Write and schedule social posts that match our tone and campaign goals.
Work with the wider Engagement team to generate content for internal communications and direct marketing materials.
Work with the Design Officer to produce graphics and templates for digital channels.
Repurpose patient stories, blog posts, and booklets into engaging social-friendly formats.
Ensure all content meets accessibility and consent standards.
Social Media and Engagement
Manage day-to-day posting across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, and any other relevant channels.
Work with our external social media agency to plan and deliver paid and organic campaigns.
Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and ensure our online tone is kind, inclusive, and supportive.
Track performance through analytics and share monthly reports with the team.
Collaboration
Work closely with the Director of Engagement and Design Officer on campaign planning.
Liaise with colleagues across Fundraising, Patient Services, and Information to gather stories and create relevant content.
Support filming or photography days for PR and awareness campaigns.
Contribute to monthly content planning and creative meetings across all communications and marketing activity.
Travel and Filming
Visit hospitals, patient events, and partner locations to film or photograph stories that highlight our impact.
Maintain safe and respectful filming practices, including full consent and safeguarding compliance.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (mileage reimbursed).

- Strong experience creating engaging digital content for social media.
- Confident filming and editing short-form video using mobile or DSLR.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist
organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to
supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to
violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls,
exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and
facing barriers to social protection.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of LAWRS’
policy, advocacy, and communications strategy to tackle the issues affecting migrant women
survivors of VAWG, and will work jointly with LAWRS’ policy team and VAWG team.

The Institute of Conservation (Icon) is seeking a Researcher to support its Conservation Skills at Risk project, which is being generously supported by the Pilgrim Trust.
This project aims to build a comprehensive understanding of the conservation workforce by identifying areas where specialist skills are most at risk, informing future training provision and sector advocacy.
Working closely with Icon staff, partners, and specialist groups, the Researcher will implement an established methodology to gather, analyse, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data across the conservation sector. Responsibilities include coordinating surveys, monitoring participation, maintaining accurate research records, analysing trends, and synthesising findings into clear, evidence-based outputs.

Turner’s House is a small independent museum in Twickenham housed in a Grade II* listed building, open to the public since 2017. This is a key role in helping secure its long-term sustainability. About the role
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Assistant Director of Digital & Audience Engagement to lead on Shelter’s digital strategic direction and digital delivery, strengthen our audience engagement and embed learning and insight-driven decision-making across Shelter.
This is a key leadership role responsible for leading and delivering our digital purpose – ensuring that digital channels, platforms and content deliver measurable impact, align with Shelter’s organisational strategy, and meet the needs of diverse audiences and internal stakeholders.
Role specifics
You will lead the development and delivery of Shelter’s Digital, Content, CRM, Audience Insight and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning functions, building capability, flexibility and high performance through strong, adaptable leadership. A transformative and experienced digital leader, you’ll bring proven expertise in agile, lean and product management methodologies, with a track record of delivering high-performing digital services and driving culture change across complex organisations. You’ll champion a digital-first mindset, enhancing digital maturity and collaboration while ensuring our strategies and services are rooted in evidence, insight and performance data. With deep knowledge of digital technologies and the wider digital landscape, you’ll identify opportunities to maximise Shelter’s impact and lead integrated, audience-centred strategies that grow reach, engagement and support. The Campaigns, Policy and Communications (CPC) directorate at Shelter researches and understands the full range of Shelter’s audiences, creates the content, products and strategies needed to engage and support them, and campaigns for the systemic change needed to end the homelessness and the housing emergency.
Digital and Audience Engagement is the window in and out of the organisation, through which we understand and engage the full array of audiences with an interest in Shelter. The team gathers and interprets learning and insights on our work and our audiences, to inform Shelter’s communications, campaigns and service delivery. The team is also the curator of the most commonly accessed means by which supporters, campaigners, advice-seekers, service-users, professionals and others seek to understand and engage with Shelter

About the Role and Objectives:
Developing and growing relations with supporters, donors, public, foundations, and corporate friends. Passionate and well organized, you will change the world for animals by ensuring every department’s work is fully funded – as well as the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa, home to our rescued lions and tigers. Duties:
- Production of annual fundraising and marketing plan: growing supporter base, increasing engagement and retention; sustained giving; digital and postal direct response; increasing donor engagement and retention; planned giving; special events/calendar dates; major gifts; foundation grants; corporate support; legacies, trusts, estates; new income research. Targets for annual, quarterly, income.
- Manages fundraising calendar, mailings, events, targets, tracking.
- Grant Applications, foundations, corporate: Identify, plan, approach, draft grant applications/letters of inquiry and collateral for foundations, trusts, corporate partnerships and gifts, major donor gifts, and other potential sources of income (collaboration with senior directors).
- Regular liaison with high donors, foundations, estates, corporate donors, sponsors.

Who should apply:
You have the necessary skills and experience, with at least 4 years’ experience in fundraising planning and management for charities, including:
- Educated to degree level in a related field (or equivalent experience) (required).
- A successful track record in direct response campaign fundraising and marketing.
- Excellent written English, you can demonstrate impactful and persuasive content for high donors, foundations, corporate support, supporters, social media, marketing and legacy promotion (required).
- You can plan and deliver programs for regular and planned giving, major gifts, estates, support from foundations, corporate support (required).
- Strong technical skills, data management, manipulation; MS Office suite, Excel/Google, other; competent with digital research (NB: ChatGPT not permitted for writing ADI product) (required).
- Strong Raiser’s Edge NXT and Engaging Networks skills (or similar); segmentation, creating lists and reports, data hygiene, audits (required).
- Some knowledge of social media tools, e.g. Canva, Photoshop, or other.
- Management of external vendors for direct response campaigns, production of merchandise catalogue and other sales, marketing, collateral.
- Ensures compliance with ADI’s language, policies, communications style guidelines, editing and publications authorization process (required).
- Skilled at organization and multitasking, you can successfully handle competing priorities and deadlines (required).
