Mass Participation and Events Fundraising Lead
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive forward the development and implementation of the events and mass participation fundraising strategy.
Position: CE405 Mass Participation Lead
Location: Home-based, UK Nationwide. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £49,000 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum/pro rata or outer London weighting £2,457 per annum/pro rata may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Regional Fundraising this is an exciting role leading our ambitious vision for this area of our team. Worth currently over £2m annually we are looking to grow our income from third party and owned products and events.
You will provide strategic leadership to the Mass Participation team (2 direct reports and accountability for a further 6) as well as playing an active leadership role across the Regional Fundraising Team and Mass Engagement department, contributing to the wider directorate goals and objectives.
You will be an innovative thinker with the ability to review our existing programme, the wider market environment and identify opportunities for supporter acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will oversee a customer-centric approach where supporters receive an outstanding experience and feel proud of their continued contribution.
Key responsibilities will include:

· Strategic leadership of a geographically dispersed team, embedding a culture of high performance
· Setting meaningful income and expenditure budgets and being able to accurately re-forecast putting action plans in place to mitigate shortfalls.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience of:

In a context of the rise of the far right, increasing inequality, and climate disaster, The Advocacy Academy is growing to meet this moment. As part of this, we are expanding our Organising and Campaigns Team, including recruiting an experienced Digital Organiser.
This person will lead the design and implementation of an ambitious digital organising approach, including building out our base online and supporting campaigns to amplify our message and deliver the tangible wins we are pushing for. The work will be supported by up to five of our ‘changemakers’ - young people who will be paid to support our digital organising alongside their other work or study.

The Supporter Care Assistant role is vital to the delivery of Tommy’s biggest annual fundraising event, the London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM).
The main responsibility of this role is to support the Corporate Stewardship Manager in recruiting, stewarding, and engaging hundreds of employees taking part in the LLHM Corporate Challenge for Tommy’s. You will be involved in all areas of the Corporate Challenge, but your responsibilities will mainly include being the first point of contact for employees, updating the Corporate Challenge website, maintaining accurate information across systems, and helping to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

The Marketing Officer/Senior Marketing Officer (Acquisition) at CBM UK is an important role in making our life-changing work possible. This is a new role, working remotely from the UK and reporting to the Directors to handle the increased financial and logistics workflow of the organisation as we embark on a new 18-month EU-funded grant. We are looking for a Direct Marketing Officer to join our growing Individual Giving team at Samaritans. This role will assist in the creation, management and implementation of key campaigns and projects to recruit and retain supporters maximising loyalty and lifetime value.
A valued member of the team – you’ll also contribute to individual giving projects while supporting larger, strategic initiatives led by the 2 x Senior Direct Marketing Officers in the team.

You’ll manage a portfolio of business-as-usual (BAU) campaigns while supporting wider strategic activity, helping to maximise supporter lifetime value and grow income. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of channels and collaborate with teams and agencies to deliver impactful campaigns.

As Senior Philanthropy Executive, you will shape major donor journeys to inspire donors’ philanthropic aspirations and align them with MND Association priorities. You will open doors to new relationships through thoughtful and influential networking and cultivation.
You will be part of the Motor Neurone Disease Association’s Philanthropy team, working with major donors and prospects across the UK. You will manage a defined portfolio through which you will secure significant philanthropic income as you deliver thoughtful and personalised stewardship.
