About the role

We are seeking an organised, dynamic and people-focused Volunteer Coordinator to lead volunteering across both our programmes. This role will supporting and coordinate volunteers across

•  Touching Safe Ground – supporting women and children seeking sanctuary.
•  Well Old – supporting older people experiencing loneliness and isolation.

You will support our established volunteer team within Touching Safe Ground, and develop volunteering opportunities within Well Old. This role is responsible for recruiting, coordinating, supporting and developing a diverse team of volunteers who make our sessions and activities possible.

You will help ensure that volunteers have a positive, rewarding and meaningful experience, while enabling Globe Community Project to deliver high-quality support to participants. What you’ll do

• Coordinate volunteer availability for both of our projects, including weekly Touching Safe Ground sessions. 
• Recruit new volunteers through social media, volunteering websites, local university liaison and community outreach.
• Act as the first point of contact for volunteering enquiries, manage applications, conduct interviews, and manage references and onboarding requirements
• Build and maintain effective partnerships and referral pathways with organisations, universities and community groups, including including universities, faith organisations and community groups across East London.
•  Ensure all volunteers complete appropriate DBS checks, Volunteer Agreements and any other required safeguarding processes.
•  Deliver volunteer inductions and provide practical training, supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of volunteers, and identifying any further training needs as they arise.
•  Network and conduct desk research to identify wellbeing, learning and CPD opportunities for volunteers, particularly those with lived experience of migration or seeking sanctuary.
• Administer volunteer travel expenses and maintain accurate records on shared systems.
• Attend sessions regularly alongside volunteers to build relationships, provide support and understand their experiences.
•  Maintain regular communication with volunteers and respond promptly to questions and concerns.
•  Organise volunteer thank-you events and other opportunities to recognise and celebrate their contributions.
•  Monitor and report on volunteer numbers, recruitment, retention, successes and challenges.
•  Attend relevant staff meetings as required.
• Report safeguarding concerns immediately and follow organisational safeguarding procedures.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for community children’s nurse to join our friendly, established community health team. We are a busy service with a diverse caseload working with service families and children in Cyprus.

We are looking for a confident, innovative paediatric nurse. About you

About the role

We’re looking for a Community Forester to help deliver woodland creation and management projects across Raise: Cumbria Community Forest.

This role will support the delivery of woodland creation and restoration projects with landowners, contractors, communities and volunteers across a range of sites. You’ll coordinate delivery on the ground, support contractor management and work directly on practical forestry activities as part of a small and growing team.

You’ll also support the development of new woodland opportunities and help expand Raise’s support for landowners across Cumbria. We’re looking for someone with practical experience in forestry, woodland creation, conservation or a related outdoor or land-based field.

The Senior Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator will play a key role in growing and diversifying Brain Research UK’s community fundraising income and supporter engagement.

As part of BUBIC’s commitment to meeting people where they are, the post holder will also share night‑outreach duties with the Team Leader, working one evening per week (5pm-midnight, typically Wednesday or Friday) to reach those most visible and vulnerable at night, enabling early intervention, safer engagement, and stronger pathways into support. Business Development Contribution
The OM strengthens partnerships, supports funding strategy, provides operational evidence for bids, and contributes to growth initiatives such as pop-up BUBIC models and harm reduction bus feasibility.

Staff Development
The OM leads one to ones for the core staff and team leader, providing reflective practice, training, and wellbeing activities, and supports workforce planning aligned to strategic priorities.

Service Development
The OM oversees safe, high-quality delivery of outreach, groups, dual diagnosis support, Gateway training, and pilots’ new services including outings, life-skills programmes, and community presence initiatives.

Governance & Profile
Working with the CEO, the OM ensures oversight of compliance, safeguarding, GDPR, reporting to Board and sub-groups, and contributes to annual accounts, supports AGM delivery, and strengthens organisational visibility through external representation

About Us

Slade Gardens Community Play Association is a small registered charity that operates a 1.25-acre staffed adventure playground in the heart of Lambeth. Our open-access service welcomes children and young people aged 0-21, providing them with the freedom to come and go independently while enjoying a diverse and stimulating play environment designed to support exploration, creativity and development.

About the Role

This is a genuinely hands-on, hybrid role. In this small organisation, one person will carry operational playwork leadership alongside fundraising, safeguarding, finance, governance, line management and community partnership. Charity Manager

Required for September 2026

3 days per week, term time only plus 2 weeks

Actual salary £15,400

FTE £30,000 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a Charity Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the long-term sustainability, profile, and impact of the Foundation.

About the role

Your role will involve developing and delivering the Foundation’s fundraising strategy, generating income, leading communications and engagement, overseeing day-to-day operations and administration and supporting strong charity governance in line with best practice.
