The Bikeability Trust is entering a new exciting phase of our strategy to 2035 to ensure more children can cycle with confidence. We are seeking a persuasive writer and relationship builder, with a strong track record of income generation from trusts and foundations, and experience of statutory bidding. Coram is a complex organisation, so you will enjoy dealing with a very varied range of projects and service activities to seek out the information you need, have a strong eye for detail, and be able to think and prioritise logically. We’d like you to build on our existing portfolio of funders, developing them and bringing in new ones, whilst also managing statutory tenders from start to finish.

We are looking for a relationship-driven Corporate Fundraiser to manage and grow our corporate partnerships and support our mission to improve financial education for children and young people across the UK.
This role will focus primarily on account management of existing corporate partners, most of whom are based in London and work within the financial services sector. Corporate partners support the charity through donations, participation in a collaborative supporter group, and employee volunteering.
A key part of the role will be coordinating our corporate volunteering programme, particularly school-based volunteering sessions where corporate employees deliver financial education workshops. You will manage the end-to-end process, working closely with corporate partners, schools and internal colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery.
You will also support new business development, helping to identify and secure new corporate partnerships, and will use Salesforce to manage relationships, pipelines and reporting.

About The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Corporate Partnerships Manager to initially grow our portfolio of corporate partners through business development, support the Senior Management Team with their existing corporate partners and then take on your own portfolio of corporate partners. Purpose of the Role
The Head of Fundraising is a strategic leadership role within the Income and Engagement Directorate, with overall responsibility for the strategy, delivery and performance of Breaking Barriers’ high-value income portfolio. This includes corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, statutory funding, and major gifts.
Breaking Barriers has grown into a national charity supporting over 1,300 refugees each year and raising c.£3m annually. Income from corporate partners and philanthropic funders has been central to this growth, with corporate partnerships integral to both income and the creation of meaningful employment outcomes for our refugee clients. As the organisation enters its next strategic phase, the priority is to develop national partnerships in line with a redesigned service model and build long-term resilience across high-value income streams.
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Head of Fundraising will translate organisational priorities into a clear income strategy that delivers resilience and long-term relationship-led partnerships. They will lead and support a team of senior fundraisers, each with lead responsibility for a defined income stream, while maintaining personal involvement in a small number of priority, high-value relationships.
As a member of Breaking Barriers’ Joint Leadership Team, the post-holder will contribute to organisational leadership, culture and decision-making, and will help shape how we work with responsible businesses, funders and partners to advance refugee employment in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
1. Income generation and external partnerships

Hold overall accountability for income delivery across corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, statutory funding, and major gifts / high-net-worth individuals.

Provide strategic oversight and direction to senior managers leading each income stream, ensuring coherence, prioritisation and strong performance across the portfolio.

Maintain personal oversight of a small number of priority, high-value relationships, acting as senior sponsor and external representative where appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in managing end to end Gift Aid claims and processes within the charity sector.
- Strong working knowledge of HMRC Gift Aid regulations, practices and procedures and other relevant HMRC guidelines.

Purpose
Horatio’s Garden is a nationwide charity creating and nurturing beautifully designed gardens in NHS’s spinal injury centres.
The Patient Experience Manager will be instrumental in supporting patients and families use of the garden.
Along with the Head Gardener, you will be responsible for the smooth running of a thriving, vibrant garden ensuring the patient and their family are appropriately supported throughout their time in the spinal unit.
This role requires you to manage a team of volunteers and work closely with the Head Gardener who maintains the horticultural standard of the garden and delivers therapeutic horticulture sessions. You will be managed by the National Patient Experience Lead.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clinical and non-clinical NHS staff, corporate sponsors, funders, the Fundraising team, the Communications team and the National Patient Experience Manager.
The gardens have been beautifully designed and maintained, and the role of the garden needs to reflect an appropriate environment for patients and their families at all stages of their stay. From the initial welcome, to ensuring the contact and relationship is consistent with activities to suit their needs.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering social activities, supported by the charity’s National Patient Experience Manager and in collaboration with the wider Spinal Injuries team in Cardiff. These activities will mainly need to be held at the weekend or in the afternoons which are critical times in the garden when most patients are available and often have friends and family to visit. Currently the Events programme includes seasonal celebrations and social and craft activities. External facilitators also deliver workshops and live music performances.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, proactive individual who is efficient, well organised and has outstanding communication and relationship building skills. You will need to be adaptable and friendly and confident working with a wide range of people including people with spinal injuries and their families, NHS staff, volunteers and many different teams within the charity.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
People with spinal injuries
· Develop relationships with patients and families to ensure the best experience for them in the garden at every stage of their stay
· Maintain a consistent social and arts activity programme appropriate for the current patient group, liaising with the National Patient Experience Manager and managing the volunteers accordingly
· Organise a programme of seasonal events, reflecting the needs of patients
· Work with the Impact Manager to monitor patient experience and the impact of the garden
· Ensure the garden is managed to allow the correct balance to be in place to benefit both patients and external parties (major donors, trusts, corporate groups and other visitors)

· Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with NHS clinical teams and voluntary services
Volunteers
· Recruitment and training of new volunteers
· Manage the team of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the garden with patient experience at its core
Fundraising and Communications
· Work with fundraising managers, Head Gardener and volunteers to develop opportunities to generate income in the garden through friends, corporate friends and third-party fundraising
