At Mary’s Youth Club, we believe in joyful, creative spaces where young people aged 10–19 can grow, thrive, and feel like they truly belong. We're proud of our vibrant, inclusive community – and we’re looking for passionate volunteers to help keep it strong and sustainable.
We’re inviting community-minded individuals to join our Fundraising Working Group. This is a hands-on, action-focused volunteer team (not a trustee role!) that supports the financial stability of Mary’s by helping to shape and deliver fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
You’ll be working alongside our Business Operations Manager, with support from the CEO, trustees, and the wider fundraising volunteer group, to bring energy and fresh ideas to everything from annual events and community campaigns to grant applications and local partnerships.

Can you help us to bring in the funds we need to make the food bank a success?
We are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Lead to play a significant role in shaping a fundraising strategy, help raise awareness of Bounds Green Food Bank (BGFB) and generate income through events, projects and fundraising activities.
We currently raise money through grants, individual donations and community projects. We would like to broaden our fundraising initiatives and are looking for someone to raise funds, meet fundraising targets, raise our profile with key funding partners, and inspire relevant groups to support us.
About Bounds Green Food Bank:
Open since June 2020, we serve over 1,500 children and adults in the community. We are committed to improving lives by providing food and essential household items and helping alleviate household food insecurity. The role:

Work with the Board of Trustees to agree a fundraising strategy, including setting annual fundraising targets

The need for this work has never been higher, there are more than 50 million estimated victims of modern slavery worldwide, and over 120,000 potential victims in the UK.
We operate ten safe houses and five outreach hubs, staffed round the clock by specialist staff, working with more than 600 men, women and dependent children each year. Our Pursue work helps survivors to engage with police and within the legal system to seek justice and to secure convictions against their perpetrators.

We are looking for Volunteers to help support us with coordinating and delivering activities, tasks will include:
•Organising and delivering activities for service user participation, which may include craft, arts, exercise/sport, education, wellbeing activities.

2makeit is a charity that helps rehabilitate prisoners and ex-prisoners by offering them creative expression through programmes in skills such as music, art and writing.
Engaging with fellow prisoners, guided by experts including musicians, artists and writers, they learn how to collaborate and create, inspiring them to lead more productive and positive lives whilst in jail, and law-abiding lives on release.
2makeit is seeking an inspiring and committed Chair to lead its Board and help transform lives through creativity.
What will you be doing?
The Chair leads the board, ensuring that it governs the charity effectively, in service of the charity’s vision and mission. The Chair leads in an inclusive way, supporting the board to work together well, and providing support and challenge to the Director.
The Chair is also an ambassador for the charity.
Board members have a collective responsibility. This means that Trustees always act as a group and not as individuals.
Time commitment is approximately 15 - 20 hours a month, which includes:
- 4 quarterly board meetings (2–3 hours each) and their preparation (usually evenings, hybrid available).
- A weekly call with the Director (approx 1 hour).
- Ad hoc sub-group meetings and documents as required (mostly online).

- Understanding of the criminal justice sector is desirable.

- Availability and flexibility (some daytime commitments, some evenings).
- Passionate about prisoner and ex-prisoner wellbeing.

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. exists to confront and expose the realities of childhood sexual abuse (CSA), centre survivor truth and accountability, support young people into economic empowerment, and build community-owned, open-source systems that replace silence with structure, care, and collective power. We exist to tell the truth, build systems that protect people, and mobilise communities at scale. The Founding Volunteer Social Media Director is a critical leadership role at the heart of this work.
The Purpose of This Role
The Social Media Director is responsible for shaping and leading the organisation’s entire social media vision, strategy, and execution during its foundational phase. This role exists to transform truth into reach, values into visibility, and community work into collective momentum — without diluting integrity.
You will lead the creation of a decentralised, high-volume, values-aligned content ecosystem that empowers ambassadors, volunteers, and community members to speak, share, and act with clarity and purpose.
This is about building infrastructure for voice — not chasing virality for its own sake.
Experience Qualification and Requirements
Essential Technical Competencies:
- Experience leading social media strategy, content creation or community engagement, ideally in start-up, non-profit or mission-driven contexts.
- Set and own the CIC’s social media vision aligned to its mission, safeguarding principles and 2026 goals
- Collaborate with Fundraising, Membership, Safeguarding and Digital teams to ensure ethical, effective campaigns
- Track record of translating values, purpose or community work into compelling, authentic digital content.
- Design a scalable, decentralised content strategy across platforms
- Work with open-source digital systems to ensure efficiency and accessibility
Desirable:
- Experience building and managing multi-channel social media ecosystems or networks of contributors.
- Comfortable working in a volunteer capacity [until paid roles are introduced]
- Experience leading social media strategy, content creation, or community engagement, ideally in start-up, non-profit, or mission-driven contexts.
- Establish governance, standards, and culture from the ground up.

We're looking for 2-3 detail-oriented and strategic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist Volunteers to help optimise our online presence and ensure our campaigns and content reach the communities that need them most and increase the charity’s search engine results rankings. The SEO Specialist Volunteers will play a key role in enhancing the visibility and searchability of Burning Nights CRPS Support’s website and digital content.
The SEO Specialist Volunteers will be volunteering within the Communications & Marketing Team to implement SEO best practices, conduct keyword research, improve site structure, and analyse web performance – all to ensure our content reaches a broader audience and amplifies the voice of our charity’s supporters online.
Key Tasks and Objectives
- Competitor and Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to inform website content and campaign strategies.
- On-page optimisation: Optimise existing content for improved search engine ranking (meta tags, meta descriptions, headers, alt text, etc.)
- Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Technical SEO Implementation: Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with content teams to resolve them.
- Backlink and Off-Page SEO: Assist in developing backlink strategies and improving domain authority.
- Support the content team in creating SEO-optimised articles and pages.
- Provide monthly reports on SEO performance and suggest improvements.
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and emerging best practices.
Key Skills or Qualifications
- Excellent understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms.
- Proven experience in conducting SEO audits, strategy development, and implementation.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush or similar platforms.
- Previous experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or technical SEO.
- Ability to perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (ideally Django framework).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
- Evidence of organisational skills, with good attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, turning recommendations into action without needing constant oversight.
- A passion for using your skills to support patients and families impacted by a debilitating pain condition and help save lives.
- Passion for creating inclusive and accessible digital spaces.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Desirable Experience
- Experience of Google Ads for nonprofits.
- Experience of using Django framework websites.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and inclusive web design.
- Experience working with or volunteering for nonprofit / charitable organisations.
- Demonstrable IT skills, particularly Google Drive and Microsoft.
- Good research and information management skills.
- An understanding of the charity sector and/or fundraising.

Training and Support
- Full induction to our organisation, as well as check-ins, ongoing training, supervision and support from the Communications & Marketing Lead Volunteer, Volunteer Co-ordinators, Trustees and the Volunteer Team.
- This a remote volunteering opportunity with regular online team check-ins and collaborative sessions with a supportive, creative, and inclusive team environment.
- Relevant and ongoing training for your volunteer role.
- Regular updates on charity activities.
- Support, advice and guidance from Charity team.
- After 3 months volunteering, all volunteers are eligible for additional training courses (reasonable cost).
- Out-of-pocket expenses, approved in advance will be reimbursed.
