About the role

2025 was a huge year for Scotland, Crisis’ campaign to introduce new laws to prevent homelessness was a success. Scotland now has one of the most progressive homelessness systems in the world. But rising living costs, shortages of affordable homes and a lack of support are pushing more people towards poverty and homelessness. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We are now looking for a Fundraising Manager to focus on building and shaping Crisis’s high value income in Scotland in both corporate partnerships and philanthropy. With a strategic focus, you will connect high value partners and supporters our mission in ways that are ethical, person-centred and rooted in dignity and respect for people experiencing homelessness.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying, cultivating and converting a pipeline of high value prospects across corporate and philanthropy, as well as managing a portfolio of high value individuals and providing a brilliant stewardship experience. We have ambitions to significantly increase the high value income we generate in Scotland and will lead on the development of a growth strategy to help us realise these ambitions.

Working collaboratively across Crisis, you’ll champion inclusive, values-led ways of working and use insight, influence and partnership to help drive lasting impact in our work to end homelessness.

About you

We are looking for:

• A highly motivated, proactive relationship builder with a strong track record of growing regional high-value income and spotting the most promising opportunities
• An ambitious, confident, values-led fundraiser has experience leading direct (high value) income generation within Scotland
• Strong experience in identifying, cultivating and winning regional and devolved nations corporate partnerships and delivering brilliant stewardship to a portfolio of philanthropists.
• Proven ability to develop compelling regional or devolved-nations cases for support and high-value propositions
• Strategic and outcome-focused, with the credibility and drive to demonstrate the income potential of high value income in Scotland and build a plan to realise it.

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. Formed in 1981, we offer information and support, for example through our website, information leaflets and webinars, and via our local support groups, Helplines and online forum.  As well as directly supporting those with endometriosis, we work to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst healthcare professionals, the public and the media; lobby for improved diagnosis, treatment and management; and support research. The Young Roots Casework Service aims to improve the life chances of young refugees and asylum seekers and to support them to reach their potential by accessing their rights and entitlements.

We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Senior Social Media Officer to take the lead on managing and evolving our social media presence across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our global teams to bring our brand to life online — raising awareness, driving engagement, and helping us tell powerful stories of change.

This role sits within our Brand & Communications team. You’ll be responsible for managing digital communities, creating compelling content, spotting trends, and using data insights to optimise our performance. Accountabilities

• Lead the development and delivery of our social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader communications goals.

• Analyse and report on performance, using insights to inform strategy and day-to-day decisions.

About you

You are an experienced and dynamic digital communications professional with a proven track record in developing and executing social media strategies that deliver demonstrable impact. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, showing persuasive leadership to foster a culture of creativity and innovation rooted in data-backed insights and strategic brand building.

You are passionate about social justice, sustainable development, and climate resilience, and understand the power of social media to galvanise audiences and achieve organisational objectives. You’re curious, collaborative, and confident in your expertise, and feel equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to create content or digging into analytics to continuously optimise performance.

You stay informed about emerging digital innovations, always seeking new ways to elevate Practical Action’s work and profile.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in social media strategy and management (experience in the INGO or development sector a plus).
• Excellent knowledge of key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) strengths and opportunities, and how to get the most out of them.
• Strong storytelling skills and experience creating multimedia content, with grounded confidence to adapt master narratives and campaigns to diverse audiences.
• Spotless attention to detail and commitment to the development of high-quality outputs aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

As Treasury Manager at Alzheimer's Society, you'll ensure we can confidently meet our commitments to people affected by dementia by managing our cash flow, income streams, and reserves effectively.

About the opportunity

As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. You'll monitor our cash position, forecast cash flow across diverse income streams from online fundraising platforms to direct donations and community collections, and manage banking relationships to ensure we optimise our working capital and invest our reserves wisely.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll be a highly visible partner to budget holders and business partners across the organisation, providing the treasury insights that enable confident financial planning and investment. You'll ensure we have the liquidity needed to support our work as income flows in from our incredible fundraisers, navigating the complexities of restricted and unrestricted funds to safeguard every pound raised and maximise our impact.

Using data and metrics as your tools, you'll drive performance improvements while supporting the development of our Accounts Assistants team. Your ability to balance rigorous treasury controls with collaborative partnership will be essential to success in this role.

This role will focus approximately 80% on Treasury and 20% on Accounts Receivable.

About you:

You're an experienced treasury professional who enjoys using forecasting and data to provide strategic financial insights. You excel at optimising cash positions and working capital, and you can translate complex treasury information into clear, practical guidance for budget holders and business partners. You bring fresh thinking to treasury challenges and understand that strong cash management enables organisations to achieve their goals.

You'll have:

• Proven treasury or cash management experience in a medium to large organisation, including cash flow forecasting, cash positioning, and banking relationship management.
• Effective forecasting and analytical skills with the ability to model scenarios and provide strategic cash insights to support decision-making.
• Experience managing banking relationships, optimising cash deployment, and working with multiple bank accounts and treasury systems.
• Track record in managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoice generation, reconciliation, and collections.
• Ability to develop and motivate teams using a high challenge, high support approach, particularly those undertaking professional development.
• Good communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across departments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong ability to analyse, interpret and present financial data effectively.
• Understanding of financial accounting systems and how they integrate with treasury operations; charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential.

What you'll focus on:

• Managing treasury operations including monitoring daily cash position, forecasting cash flow, and optimising cash deployment across the organisation.
• Owning banking relationships, negotiating terms with financial institutions, and ensuring efficient payment and receipting processes.
• Producing cash flow forecasts and treasury reports that inform executive decision-making and enable strategic investment planning.
• Managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes from invoice generation and account reconciliation to debt recovery and customer service.
• Driving performance through data by owning and reporting on key treasury and AR metrics, using insights to deliver continuous improvement.
• Leading and developing the Accounts Assistants team, creating a culture of high challenge, high support, and professional growth.
• Strengthening controls by proactively identifying treasury risks, process inefficiencies, and implementing effective solutions.
• Working collaboratively across directorates to improve financial practice and ensure robust, efficient operations.
