The Role
This is a newly created senior leadership role and a rare opportunity to shape how financial insight drives humanitarian impact.
As Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will build and lead MSF UK’s FP&A function, ensuring that resources are used wisely, investment decisions are evidence-based, and financial insight empowers colleagues to make the best possible decisions for our patients.
You will work at the heart of the organisation — partnering with senior leaders, fundraising teams and budget holders — to translate strategy into robust financial plans and ensure every pound raised delivers maximum impact.
What You’ll Do
You will lead MSF UK’s FP&A function to support better decisions, stronger financial sustainability and greater humanitarian impact. This includes:
- Driving strategic insight: providing clear financial analysis, modelling and advice to inform investment decisions, income growth and value for money.
- Leading planning and forecasting: owning MSF UK’s budgeting, reforecasting and multi-year financial planning processes.
- Strengthening financial reporting: ensuring timely, accurate and meaningful management accounts, KPIs and commentary for senior leaders and trustees.
- Partnering with the organisation: acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers and budget holders, strengthening financial literacy and accountability.
- Identifying efficiencies: working collaboratively to uncover opportunities for cost savings and improved use of resources.
- Building capability: line managing and developing the Finance Business Partner and continuously improving FP&A processes, tools and ways of working.
About You
You are a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant experience in FP&A and a strong track record of using financial insight to influence decisions at senior level.
You combine technical excellence with empathy and purpose. You are comfortable working in complexity, skilled at explaining finance to non-financial colleagues, and motivated by using your expertise to support a mission that truly matters.

We’re looking for a Senior Events Fundraiser to join our Community, Events, and Retail Fundraising team, leading on the delivery of our third party events activities.
You’ll plan, develop, and promote a well-established portfolio of third party challenge events, working to achieve set income targets, while ensuring an outstanding supporter experience for our event participants.
You’ll also be responsible for developing our third party events portfolio; monitoring and evaluating products, as well as innovating, to create opportunities for future growth.

The Role
Future Advocacy is seeking a Digital Campaigns Consultant. This is a great opportunity to do impactful work within a small, dynamic organisation that places a strong focus on team and personal development.The successful candidate will be a natural digital campaigner and eager to contribute to our work with our brilliant clients. They will quickly develop a range of skills, including digital strategy, content development, communications and stakeholder management of agencies. They will work closely with our Digital Campaigns Director; the Country Directors, CEO, Managing Director, and other senior leaders as part of our small and energetic team.
The Digital Campaigns Consultant will also support the Country Directors in implementing a flagship project which works with partners to raise awareness and understanding about the importance of reducing poverty and improving health in low income countries. They will also work on other projects aiming to push back against authoritarianism, polarisation, and populist nativism.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of digital communication strategies and online creative campaigns across Future Advocacy’s broad range of clients.
- Supporting the implementation of Future Advocacy's flagship project across markets, aimed at enhancing political support for global cooperation.
- Coordinating with partner stakeholders and agencies to support the design and delivery of bold, high-impact digital communications in the UK, Germany, EU and beyond.
- Supporting effective project management
- Contribute flexibly and proactively, taking on additional tasks that help the team succeed as needed.
Requirements
We would love to hear from you if you meet the criteria below:
- 2 - 6 years of experience in digital campaigning
- Experience of applying key digital skills in a communications and campaigns setting such as:
- social media management
- digital copywriting
- Ad creation and management (e.g. LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, programmatic),
- Email copywriting
- CMS (Wordpress, Drupal, or similar)
- CRM management (such as Engaging Networks, Action Network, Salesforce, or similar)
- First-class written and verbal communications skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Precision in delivering high quality work in a fast-paced yet supportive environment
Nice to Have:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
- Written and verbal communication skills in German would be a big advantage
- Some design experience with programs such as Canva or the Adobe Suite
- Some basic HTML and CSS skills which means you could tweak a web page or email template.

About this role
This role is crucial for us, our members and their communities, especially at the current time, with our need to seize on the opportunities of rail reform and devolution, promote wider use of sustainable transport, and bring communities together. Other information
As you will be home-based, we are flexible about your location. The Public Affairs Officer will work closely with the wider Campaigns and Public Affairs Team which is responsible for JRF's policy influencing and cross organisational influencing strategies. You will help to identify new relationships with key MPs, Peers, and Staffers, assisting with regular political monitoring and horizon scanning, and ensuring that planning and content management systems are regularly updated. The first six months would focus on relationship building, getting to grips with JRFs processes, laying the groundwork for regular reporting updates. This would include:

About the role
As part of Scotland's policy and influencing team, you will play a critical role in shaping and influence policy thinking, managing time-sensitive projects across our policy priority areas, and building relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers across Scotland.
You will gather, analyse, and share information about external policy developments and their implications for people with arthritis, developing policy positions, producing evidence-based briefings and reports and contributing to consultation responses.
As well as working closely with nation influencing colleagues and teams across the Services and Devolved Nations Directorate, you will work closely with the UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence team, Research Directorate and Strategic Communications teams, including representing us on cross-sector policy groups and participating in events and conferences.
We'll give you autonomy, variety and challenge with opportunities to lead projects, to work together with inspirational campaigners and people with arthritis, as well as collaborate with senior Scottish Government and NHS Scotland stakeholders. About you
You will have ready-made resourcefulness, be a creative thinker, with strong analytical, written and verbal communications skills. An enthusiastic, adaptive and flexible approach is important, together with an ability to work with autonomy and across teams as well as:
- Experience of influencing external policy and decision making within Scotland.
- Understanding of current healthcare policy issues relevant to people with long-term conditions or disability.
- Experience of drafting policy papers and briefings, and the ability to understand and articulate academic research and policy papers.
*As a hybrid worker the expectation is that you will spend around 40% of your working time in our office spaces or working in community settings.
