Role Overview
As a member of the Joint Leadership Team, the post-holder will contribute to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects, helping to influence and meet the charity’s strategic objectives. Specifically, they will lead projects and programmes to deliver improvements in quality and standards of health services for people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. In doing so, they will work closely with not only the Director of Services & Evidence and Heald of Health Services, but also external stakeholders including health and social care organisations, academics, researchers and other charities. The post-holder will also be actively involved in leading, supporting and developing the Health Services team.
About You
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of delivering health service projects and programmes and have come from a health services or medical charity background. You will be adept at developing operational performance metrics, strategies and objectives and have a proven track record in developing strong working relationships with external stakeholders. Whilst not essential, experience of managing and leading a team would be beneficial, as would be an awareness and knowledge of the needs of people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to travel to events/conferences. You will be required to attend two Directorate days each year and occasional face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Digital Acquisition Executive to join our growing Individual Giving Team within Public Fundraising at Prostate Cancer Research. This is a pivotal new role, offering huge potential to shape the future of IG at PCR and capitalise fully on our exciting growth trajectory.
The last 12 months have seen significant transformation within our IG fundraising, with our regular giving base more than trebling. Building on this momentum, and campaigns such as last year's successful prostate cancer screening petition and our increased campaigning and public relations footprint. We are committed to strong investment in supporter experience and a genuine relationship-based approach to fundraising, ensuring all our supporters feel valued and exceptionally well-cared for. Recent positive media opportunities have further underscored our potential for growth.
This role will be instrumental in driving continued expansion through digital channels, including paid social and email, with significant scope to identify and implement new, innovative, or novel acquisition strategies. You will be key to growing our supporter base and maximising their lifetime value through engaging digital stewardship and carefully crafted supporter journeys. Lead generation and conversion, cross-selling, and the development and management of these journeys will all be significant aspects of this role. We foster a culture of continuous testing and analysis to drive results, with a commitment to further investment in successful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition and Fundraising

Develop and implement acquisition campaigns and activity to attract new supporters through social platforms, both paid and unpaid, search engine advertising, and email marketing. As well as novel and innovative platforms and opportunities as identified.

Analyse metrics and data, reporting on KPI’s, budget and spend, and work to constantly test and optimise campaigns to exceed targets and improve return on advertisement spend / return on investment.

Ensure regular monitoring of performance across all activities and make necessary adjustments to maximise net income opportunities.

Analyse and share the results of campaign activity.

Support forecasting and budget planning on Digital marketing activities within the IG budget.

Develop and execute digital campaigns, including where the ultimate conversion is via traditional channels such as telephone or mail, taking an integrated approach, to acquire and convert new supporters.

Create and optimise content and digital journeys to maximise conversions and build loyalty. This will include elements of creative fundraising writing, concepting and messaging development, and some visual design development.

Generate and utilise insight within digital campaigns to improve results.

Support the organisation in developing the website to be optimised for fundraising, make recommendations to improve performance, optimise content and landing pages, recommend and make the most of on-site technologies and plugins that can help drive our performance.

Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies, ensuring our online fundraising efforts remain innovative and effective.
Stewardship and Supporter Experience

Maintain a good level of understanding of our supporters' behaviours and motivations to create and implement stewardship content and journeys, feedback and respond to queries and enquiries relevant to IG activity.

Work with the team to ensure all supporters are thanked and updated in an appropriate and timely manner and all interactions and activities are in line with our supporter promise.

Ensure supporter journeys are segmented and personalised wherever possible.

Cultivate deeper engagement with supporters beyond transactional interactions, exploring opportunities for meaningful dialogue, feedback mechanisms, and a sense of community.

Develop and deliver personalised relationship-building communications and initiatives that recognise supporter loyalty and deepen their connection to the impact of their support.

Work with the wider PCR team to maximise opportunities for fundraising and patient impact including via cross selling with different audiences.

Develop engaging supporter communications and assets for all channels, for example email headers, landing pages, social ads – which drive action and deepen engagement with the cause.
Collaboration and Development

Work with Agile principles in mind, together with the IG Team and collaborating colleagues across the organisation, to plan and deliver high quality work.

Build key relationships across teams within and outside Public Fundraising to achieve successful fundraising outcomes, improving both supporter & patient perceptions of PCR.

As required, represent PCR externally, promoting our work and building long-term relationships with stakeholders and supporters.

Build strong relationships with partners, freelancers and consultants, agencies, and suppliers as needed to support the delivery of individual giving activity.

Maintain curiosity and a desire for learning and professional development, be responsible for developing your skillset and knowledge to improve in the role and further PCR’s mission.
Database and Compliance

Hold a good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, and the Fundraising Code of Practice.

Work with our tools and seek to improve knowledge and use of these, including but not limited to Access CRM, Fundraise Up, Google Analytics 4 (G4A) and MailChimp.

Adhere to all PCR policies and abide by the code of conduct and other related guidance in the PCR Staff Handbook.
Skills and Competencies
Our ideal candidate would have the following:

Proven experience in digital acquisition for charity or social cause, or in paid digital marketing or advertising in commercial roles. With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

Evidence of leading successful digital / integrated digital campaigns leading to significant sales/income/lead generation.
-
The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on digital campaigns across all channels.

Knowledge and experience of trends and dynamics in digital fundraising (ideally), including audience identification and optimisation strategies including with new technologies like AI tools.

Experience and a track record of working on landing page optimisation and on-site conversion funnel improvements.

A good understanding of individual giving best practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.

The ability to motivate and inspire audiences through content and creative writing and storytelling for digital channels.

Experience moderating digital campaigns or working with others to do so (knowledge of issues and best practice) and providing excellent supporter/customer support as needed.

A strong desire to provide excellent supporter experience and customer journeys to everyone who encounters our campaigns and communications or who gets in touch with us directly.

A collaborative and innovative mindset with a desire to test, learn and work with stakeholders cross-functionally including internal stakeholders and external consultants or agencies, to develop new activities and campaigns, and achieve strategic goals.

A good communicator and team player, with a willingness to pitch in and support the goals of the team and wider organisation as a whole.

Experience working within Agile project management would be beneficial.

Experience collecting content from patients, beneficiaries, or key subject matter experts in the form of written interviews, photos and/or video, and developing this into marketing assets would be desirable.

A strong belief in the work we do at PCR, and a demonstrable desire to improve outcomes for patients through our work in fundraising.

Good knowledge of WordPress website optimisation and plugins or strong desire to learn.

The Role
Reporting to the Head Of Community and Engagement, you would manage an officer to lead the portfolio of events and community income stream to raise c300k+ a year.

The Role
The Marketing and Communications Manager is a core role. You will work directly with the Head of Content and Communications (HoC) and Creative Content Designer and Animator on the delivery of a communications strategy focused on increasing visibility and impact.

About You

As Youth Voice & Engagement Manager, you will work with our Youth Voice Consultant, the team and young people to take a hands-on role in delivering, expanding and embedding these initiatives.
Your Role
Programme Leadership & Delivery
- Coordinate Power UP! - Plan, manage, and deliver activities including youth-led research, grant-making, internships and leadership opportunities.
- Run YEP! (Youth Empowerment Pathway) – Oversee this 3-month, 8-session programme, supporting external facilitators and guiding participants toward deeper engagement with and understanding of YWF.
- Mentor Youth Associates – Recruit, train and support young consultants leading change within YWF and their communities.
- Design & Deliver Workshops – Use a range of methods (including coordinating external facilitators) to engage young people, particularly those facing barriers such as language or social exclusion.

Amplifying Youth Voice & YWF’s Work
- Showcase our Initiatives and Young People’s Achievements – Collaborate with the Business Development Lead and Comms and Engagement Director to share young people’s successes via digital and in-person platforms.
- Represent YWF at different public and professional settings, events and opportunities around youth voice, showcasing our work and approach.
- Champion Youth-Led Change – Work with the team to advocate for young people’s involvement in governance and policy within YWF and across Westminster.
Programme Management & Evaluation
- Measure Impact – Work with the Youth Voice Consultant and Evaluation and Data Specialist to use creative evaluation techniques to track the outcomes of Power UP!, ensuring activities lead to meaningful change.
- Manage Logistics – Oversee scheduling, coordination and reporting for all programme activities.
- Manage payments and budgets – manage an activities budget for the YEP! Programme, including overseeing facilitator costs and payments for young people

We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of staff to join Transport for All and support the delivery of our vision: Transport Justice for All Disabled People.
This role will lead on securing income from trusts and foundations for our projects and programmes. You will help to ensure that Transport for All remains financially sustainable, and can grow to meet the needs of our community. You’ll also drive cross-organisational use of the CRM database.
Importantly, you’ll understand how to communicate about a Disabled People’s Organisation without our community being stereotyped as ‘inspirational’ or ‘vulnerable’ – taking a social model approach and aligning with our organisational values.
We’re looking for someone with experience of broad-base fundraising, significant success in trusts and foundations fundraising, and skills and experience in databases.
About Transport for All
Transport for All is the disabled-led group breaking down barriers and transforming the transport system so disabled people can make the journeys we want, with freedom, dignity, ease and confidence. We work with our members to campaign for change, influencing governments, industry and the public.
Your responsibilities
1. Fundraising strategy (10% of time)
· Work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to set and deliver the fundraising strategy.
· Work across teams to identify opportunities to create projects and seek funding.
· Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Report regularly to the Finance Committee and Board.
2. Trust and foundations fundraising (60% of time)
· Work with the Senior Leadership Team to identify projects and core costs for funding and develop realistic budgets.
· Craft compelling applications to secure funding.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key funders.
· Work across teams to ensure continuation funding for existing projects and costs where needed.
· Manage grants from existing trusts and foundations, ensuring grant requirements are met, and reports are on time, accessible and demonstrate impact.
· Manage the trusts and foundations pipeline, keeping up to date records at all times.
3. Database management (20% of time)
· Ensure the CRM supports funding monitoring purposes and staff can use it for this purpose.
· Continually champion and develop the CRM so that it is accessible to all staff and meets the requirements of all teams.
· Work with the Communications and Engagement team to put in place good stewardship of members, advice service users and other contacts via the CRM.
· Put in place supporter journeys that provide excellent stewardship.
4. Wider fundraising (10% of time)
· Explore, test and evaluate wider fundraising opportunities. This could include appeals, corporate fundraising, events, individual giving and legacy giving.
· Support the Training, Research and Consultancy team with bid and proposal writing on an ad hoc basis.
5. General (at all times)
· Undertake any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time which are in line with the general level of this post and as instructed.
· Undertake occasional evening and weekend work as required, and take responsibility for arranging time off in lieu with your manager.
· Line manage and supervise members, contractors and staff as required.
· Work within the Social Model of Disability.
· Work in adherence to Transport for All’s values and staff policies.
· Maintain confidentiality.
· Attend staff meetings as needed.
Skills
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has experience of fundraising, particularly from trusts and foundations, preferably including significant, multi-year grants
· Has strong research skills and enjoys identifying funders and their priorities
· Can construct realistic budgets and work with colleagues to craft project proposals
· Has a track record of securing funds for social justice causes
· Has excellent persuasive, value-based communication skills, both written and verbal

This summer we have a unique opportunity to platform the story of Project-Y in the USA. We need someone to take a leading role in the management and delivery of this incredibly exciting fundraising campaign. This will give us access to approximately 73,000 young people and leaders across 900+ individual churches. This is an unprecedented exposure to potential supporters, partners, and donors.
With your skill base and expertise, could you help us to maximise this opportunity?
The Campaign Manager will drive and catalyse the support base required to propel Project-Y forward. We know this opportunity offers a concentrated pipeline to financial sustainability, both in regard to immediate one-off donations, but also longer-term multi-year support.
We have the front facing ask of the campaign in place. However, the missing piece is someone to manage and utilise the best systems and communication techniques to make sure the back-end processing of the campaign is smooth and seemless. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for donor stewardship, supporter segmentation, ongoing communication, optimising databases processes and increasing engagement to ensure the long-term sustainability of the program.
The Campaign Manager will have excellent expereince in donor management, skilled in automated and relational communications, and ideally is passionate about youth ministry. Someone who understands church partnerships, and excels in campaign management and especially the execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage communications for this campaign Develop appropriate donor communication strategy and suitable platform engagement for each of the three calls of action: young people, leaders and churches.
- Organise segment-based communications to keep supporters and those interested with the campaign informed and engaged.
- Implement a systematic donor stewardship plan, ensuring timely acknowledgment of gifts, personalised appreciation, and impact reporting to reinforce the value of their contributions.
- Gather and share stories of young people, churches, and youth leaders impacted by Project-Y.
- Segment churches into Major, Mid-Level, and General categories based on their giving capacity and engagement level.
- Develop a tiered engagement structure that aligns with these segments, providing churches of all sizes with meaningful opportunities to contribute while offering deeper engagement and exclusive experiences to those with the highest giving capacity.
• Ongoing Data Management
- Ensure accurate capturing of data
- Develop data analysis to ensure success of this campaign and enable effective foundations for ongoing fundraising

- Plan and coordinate site visits for large supporting churches to witness first-hand the impact of Project-Y.
- Set up post campaign systems and priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in donor stewardship and fundraising.
• Significant leadership experience in campaign management preferred.
• Expertise in donor segmentation, data-driven decision-making, and fundraising analytics.
• Significant experience of database management (CIY use HubSpot), data compliance (GDPR), and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Miscellaneous:
