The Operations and Development Manager is a senior leadership role at AALT, responsible for ensuring the organisation’s operational effectiveness, financial stability, and long-term sustainability.
They will join at a pivotal and exciting moment for the organisation, as AALT prepares to open the Anti-Apartheid Legacy Centre (AALC) at Penton Street and transition into a newly restored and developed building, establishing operations and embedding a resilient and ambitious model for the future.

An exciting opportunity for a Data Services Manager has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF).
WCRF is the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity.
We are seeking a Data Services Manager to lead and be responsible for the management, use and maintenance of systems and in-house CRM databases to support the achievement of the charity’s fundraising strategic objectives. You will be analysing and reviewing data and reporting on results that can then be used to build engagement with our supporters.You will also be responsible for a team of two people.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

About the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager role
In this varied and exciting position, you will manage high profile WI campaigns and play a key role in achieving change on key issues affecting women and their community.
The Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager provides essential management of the Public Affairs team and its activities- including campaigning, lobbying, research and policy work- whilst working closely with the Director of Campaigns and Membership to maintain a strategic overview of the department’s work.

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action.
Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.
We want youth organising to be enshrined in the UK for generations to come, and for young people to have tangible political power to influence national policy. That’s why we have launched two national coalitions, one around climate, and the other around gender. Each will train organisations across the country to become youth organisers and work together to bring 100 young people together to identify the strategy and tactics needed to achieve change. These young leaders will organise others and work collectively to build a campaign which shakes the status quo.
We are now looking for a Head of Spacemaking & Operations who believes in this vision and can ensure that TAA’s Liberation Centre is safe, fully operational, and intentionally designed as a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment. This role bridges operational delivery and spatial experience, ensuring that the Centre not only functions effectively behind the scenes, but also reflects TAA’s values in how people experience, move through, and use the space. You will combine operational oversight, facilities management, and space experience design, working across teams to ensure the Centre is safe, compliant, efficient, accessible and welcoming for staff, young people, and the wider community.

1- Purpose:
The P&C Business Partner drives the P&C operational effectiveness in Country Offices, facilitates organisational development and change and provides a framework for best people’s practice and quality standards. The P&C Business Partner also supports the organization in developing and implementing initiatives that encourage diversity, promote equity, and support psychological and physical safety of the workforce.

The role has a primary focus on supporting and advising leaderships and coaching P&C specialists and managers on P&C operational needs of Country Offices. It also has a global scope in supporting the advancement of the DEIA agenda with the view of achieving the culture of One Right To Play . Consults the CPCO on complex, unclear or long term impact matters.
4- Leadership and Staff management
Provides technical leadership and coaching to the P&C Specialists in COs (10 plus colleagues), also acts as counsel of CDs and senior staff based in COs on P&C policies and strategic shifts impacting staff. Lead the P&C Global Community of Practice and the Global DEIA Committee (GDEIAC).
5- Information requirement for decision-making
Identifies areas for improvement and implements P&C solutions in COs to ensure a smooth service is provided. Under the guidance of senior P&C staff, updates and embeds policies, processes and other key P&C initiatives.
Uses the policy framework, organisational and country strategies to guide priorities. Their action is informed by trends and issues identified as a result of the analysis of People’s data reports, surveys and other sources available to mainstream processes and achieve efficiency in the operation. Policy changes are to be approved by the CPCO.
6- Innovation and Improvements
The incumbent is expected to proactively recommend improvements to policies, procedures and practices based on international P&C best practices. Working with P&C specialised colleagues introduces improvements across all areas of P&C including workforce planning, safeguarding and Safety and Security.
7- Relationships & Communications: Internal / External:
Internally works closely with the P&C global team, CDs, HQ Country Operations and Finance on the delivery of P&C annual processes and initiatives that drive improvement and effectiveness. Also, works closely with the GDEIAC to deliver the DEIA activities. Externally the role liaises with legal firms, investigators and networks.
