This person will promote mission-focused content and activity across the Movement, for the 95% of children and young people who aren’t in church, for those who seek to reach and work with them, and for those who nurture them in their new-found faith.

The successful candidate will:

• Work in partnership with key staff across the SU Movement to build, maintain and develop our relationship with churches, ensuring they are well resourced for mission to the 95, and encouraging their support of Scripture Union through prayer, financial giving and volunteering.
• Engaging with existing church contacts to grow and develop those relationships.
• Developing a strong offering of speaker visits, and associated video and print resources to ensure a good experience for churches.
• Implementing a strategy for mobilising church giving, and individual giving through churches.
• Working with the Mission Enablers to develop a language around the financial costs of Revealing Jesus and ways in which churches can support the work, while also accessing the resource and training provisions.
• Maintaining good records of church contacts and activities in the Dynamics365 database.
• Manage and acknowledge donations from churches in line with our thanking procedures.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Income Generation strategy for RSPCA Woodside and is an exciting opportunity for a fundraising leader, with the support of the CEO, to make the role their own in a post with scope and opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, researching and pursuing new opportunities for fundraising and revenue generation. Introduction to the Role

We are looking for a Research and Policy Officer (Maternity Cover) to join our expanding Policy and Research department, which also oversees the TDS Charitable Foundation. This is a pivotal role supporting our mission to improve standards in the private rented sector through impactful research, thought leadership, and policy engagement.
The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering our research programme, including overseeing flagship projects like the Voice of the Tenant and Voice of the Landlord surveys, and producing high-quality qualitative and quantitative research.

You will also support the smooth running of the Charitable Foundation’s grant-making and governance activities and contribute to our work influencing policy and practice across the UK’s private rented sector.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Research
1. Collaborate with external research contractors to deliver the regular ‘Voice of the Tenant’ and ‘Voice of the Landlord’ Survey.

3. Help identify research gaps and contribute to the development execution of new research projects or commissioning of external research.

Working as part of the Development Team, to plan and execute effective fundraising strategies for Derby Theatre. The role will have a particular focus on copywriting for trusts and foundations, cultivating donor relationships and coordinating and developing Derby Theatres’ Friends scheme.  The Development Officer will also deputise for the Head of Development as required.

Key responsibilities

Trusts and Foundations

· Conduct research into possible funding streams for funding priorities.

Attend networking events to build relationships and take responsibility for cultivating prospects, developing relevant proposals and key messaging and overseeing the administration relating to corporate supporters.

Development Events

• Organise, manage and attend supporters’ evenings including liaising with front of house and catering staff, and managing the guest list.

Administration

· Support the development and executive teams by preparing briefing notes, and research profiles for the fundraising activity.

· Assist the Head of Development in keeping the team informed with any legislation or trends development within fundraising.

· Maintain accurate records on Spektrix and the shared drive, as well as keeping efficient paper files and audit trails where appropriate and make sure financial data is accurate and funds are received timely.

· Update the website and printed materials with the relevant fundraising information and credits.

Our client is looking for a Programme Manager with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple complex workstreams to join them in the Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (JAG) data and training team.

JAG  was established in 1994 to improve endoscopy services through clinical accreditation and develop training and support for the endoscopy workforce. You will be responsible for managing, leading and continuing the development of several projects, including;

• Endoscopy medical trainee certification (JETS)
• A training programme for nurses and other health care professionals (JETS Workforce)
• The accreditation of bowel cancer screeners (BCSA)
• The National Endoscopy Database (NED), which uses data from endoscopy services to support clinicians, services, and other bodies, to improve performance and provide a basis for research
• The utilisation of data from JETS, JETS Workforce and BCSA, to support endoscopy workforce development and growth.

About the role

You will work closely with internal colleagues, such as project teams in other accreditation and audit areas, as well as colleagues in finance, policy, IT, HR, and communications. You will lead and manage a team and you’ll have responsibility for and be required to work collaboratively with a broader team of sub-contractors and clinical leads. You’ll work closely with the JAG programme manager (Accreditation), to ensure that JAG continue to provide high quality services and support for the endoscopy workforce. The role requires you to ensure that workforce considerations and endoscopy data are effectively incorporated in the clinical service accreditation process.

The Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting KCLSU's finance operations, maintaining strong financial controls, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organisation.

Main Tasks

• Process and reconcile purchase invoices, sales invoices, and supplier payments, maintaining accurate ledgers.
• Reconcile daily income from multiple systems to banking records and update the finance system accordingly.
•  Support month-end processes, including bank reconciliations, journal postings, and assisting with management accounts.
• Assist with reconciling Balance Sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Generate financial reports and data extracts from the finance system to support financial reporting.
•  Support the maintenance of internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant financial procedures and regulations.
• Respond professionally to financial queries from staff, students, and suppliers, providing accurate and timely information.

General Responsibilities
• Support the efficient operation of the Finance Department, ensuring organisation and professionalism. Provide cover for colleagues where necessary, contributing to a cohesive team environment.

Working Hours
• The role requires 35 hours per week. On occasion, working hours may exceed this, including evening or weekend work to meet deadlines. These additional hours are included in the role's grading and contract.

Candidate Specification

Qualifications
• A finance-related qualification (such as part-qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent) is highly desirable, with at least two years of relevant finance experience, ideally within a student union or higher education environment, though other sectors will be considered.
• Alternatively, candidates with strong hands-on financial experience in a similar setting, or who are working towards a finance qualification, are also encouraged to apply.

Experience
• Proven, hands-on experience working with integrated accounting systems.
• Demonstrable experience managing all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Experience in finance business partnering or providing financial advice and support to non-finance staff is highly desirable.
• Experience in presenting financial information clearly and effectively to senior management is desirable.
• Any experience in treasurer or fund investment management is an additional advantage but not essential.

Knowledge
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts, financial reporting, and VAT regulations, ensuring compliance and accurate financial operations.
• A working knowledge of data protection requirements, particularly in the context of a membership organisation, is beneficial.

Skills
• Excellent multitasking ability and a keen eye for detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced IT skills, including proficiency with Excel (intermediate to advanced), and strong Office 365 competency to produce reports and manage data efficiently.
