North London Hospice has been caring for local people since 1984, providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care to people with life-limiting illnesses across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, and increasingly within Camden and Islington. Our services are completely free of charge however it now costs more than £16m a year to run our charity. We rely on the generosity of our community through donations and our shops to make up the shortfall in funding.

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Fundraising Team and lead the growth of what we believe is one of the hospice's most exciting and untapped income streams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities and creating partnerships that deliver real impact. You'll have the chance to shape the future of our corporate fundraising programme and make a lasting difference to the patients and families we support.

This is a newly established area of focus, offering significant scope to develop new relationships, create innovative partnership opportunities and drive meaningful growth. · Manage relationships with high-value corporate supporters.

· Monitor trends within the fundraising and corporate sectors, identifying new opportunities for growth.

· Manage partnership income and expenditure budgets and deliver against agreed KPIs.

· Ensure fundraising activity complies with GDPR, fundraising regulations and best practice.

· Work collaboratively with communications, retail, clinical and wider hospice teams to maximise partnership opportunities.

About you

We're looking for a someone with a track record of building relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders to secure growing partnerships.

You will have:

  • Significant experience managing partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven success in identifying, pitching for and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience developing innovative products, campaigns or propositions to attract supporters or customers.
  • A track record of managing budgets, financial performance and KPIs.
  • Experience leading teams and delivering results through others.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing and relationship-building abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.

Desirable

· Knowledge of the fundraising sector and fundraising regulation.

· Experience within a health, hospice or social care charity.

· Understanding of the North London corporate landscape.

Why join us?

By working at North London Hospice you will make a real difference to the lives of people affected by a life-limiting illness and their families. Our vision is to provide the best of life, at the end of life for everyone.
