Job Title - Welfare Rights & Tribunal Adviser
Salary- £29,000 per annum
Hours37 hours per week (Full Time)
Location- Doncaster – office based, outreach locations, and tribunal attendance as required
Role Purpose
To provide specialist welfare rights advice, casework, and representation to clients, including preparation and attendance at welfare benefit tribunals. The postholder will support clients to maximise income, challenge incorrect benefit decisions, and access their full entitlements, in line with the aims, principles, and quality standards of the Citizens Advice service.
Key Responsibilities
Advice & Casework

Provide specialist advice on welfare benefits including Universal Credit, PIP, ESA, DLA, and Housing Benefit.

Prepare and submit mandatory reconsiderations and benefit appeals.

Represent clients at First‑tier Social Security Tribunals where appropriate.

Carry out detailed benefit checks and income maximisation.

Act for clients where necessary by drafting appeal submissions, negotiating with the DWP and other agencies, and making referrals where appropriate.

The Legacy & In Memory (LIM) Marketing Team is responsible for increasing awareness and consideration for gifts in wills and/or an in memory gift. About the role
As our Legacy & In Memory Senior Marketing Officer you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events, and work closely with the Legacy & In Memory Marketing Manager to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel to raise consideration for legacy giving
- Deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communication journeys, for our Legacy and In Memory supporters
- Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
- Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns

To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role

The Communications Lead will own GFO’s communications across both the organisation and OxFarmToFork, with a clear brief: to grow our reach, amplify the work of our network, and help translate what we do into income and impact. What You’ll Be Doing
Communications Strategy and Planning

Develop and own GFO’s annual communications plan, covering both GFO and OxFarmToFork, with clear goals, audiences, channels, and success measures.

Advise the CEO and project leads on communications priorities and timing throughout the year.

Track and report on communications performance, using data to inform decisions about content, channels, and audience engagement.

Ensure comms plans meet funding requirements/deliverables for projects.
Content and Channel Management

Write and publish content across GFO’s digital channels: social media (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), the website, email newsletters, and blogs.

Manage the social media presence for both GFO and OxFarmToFork: planning content calendars, writing copy, scheduling posts, and responding to engagement.

Monitor and actively work to grow engagement metrics across key platforms, using platform analytics to understand what’s working and adjust accordingly.

Maintain and update GFO’s website, including campaign pages, news, and project updates. Basic CMS work; more significant design or development can be contracted out.

Write and distribute press releases and support media relations when opportunities arise.

What You’ll Bring

Demonstrable experience in a communications role, with responsibility for content creation and channel management.

We are seeking an experienced Training & Commercial Manager to oversee the operation, promotion and delivery of the Society’s flagship training and commercial activities during a maternity cover period.
You will lead the management of our entire training portfolio, ensuring high‑quality course delivery, coordinating and supporting trainers, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will ensure RSS training reflects current market demand, is well planned, financially robust and positioned for sustainable growth. On a day‑to‑day basis, you will manage the full operational delivery of the training programme – coordinating logistics, maintaining clear communications with trainers and delegates, responding to enquiries, and overseeing the Moodle learning platform. Finally, working closely with colleagues from across the organisation, you will develop effective marketing campaigns to promote training and commercial activity, drive bookings and achieve financial targets. Your main responsibilities
