The Executive Director will provide strategic, operational and financial leadership for East London Dance, working in close partnership with the Creative Director & CEO to deliver the organisation’s vision and business plan, strengthening its position as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. Job requirements:
Must bring substantial senior leadership experience, ideally Director, Deputy CEO or equivalent level, with evidence of strategic planning, organisational growth and performance management. The role translates the Business Plan into action, leads staff, freelancers and consultants, and develops an inclusive, high-performing culture. Key responsibilities include workforce planning, recruitment, HR compliance, performance management and staff wellbeing. The role oversees organisational systems, administration, IT and the operation of Talent House, including health and safety, compliance, venue hire and stakeholder relationships. They co-lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow monitoring and audit processes, while driving fundraising and income generation across grants, trusts, partnerships, sponsorship and earned income. Essential Qualifications & Experience
•A strong track record and understanding of credit investment, ideally with some exposure to one or more of: lending to social purpose organisations including social enterprise and charity lending, blended finance, impact private credit, renewable energy lending or social outcomes partnerships.
•Experience leading and developing a team of investors, with accountability for portfolio performance and originating new opportunities in an area of investment.
•A demonstrated ability to build relationships that shift outcomes in the system — with government, institutional & mission driven investors and social sectors — even if you haven't held all of these at once before.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
•Experience operating across the public, private and social sectors, and translating complex or technical points for different audiences.
•Experience navigating investment governance and committee processes at a senior level.
•A track record of structuring deals or partnerships that have shifted market conditions beyond the transaction itself – by unlocking follow on capital, building infrastructure or proving a model that changed what others were willing to fund.

You will lead through four Heads of Service covering Supporter Engagement, Fundraising, Communications and Public Affairs, and Visitor Services. The Head of International Growth is a new strategic leadership role that will enable parkrun to unlock dynamic, sustainable growth across some of key geographies — currently Europe, Africa, and America, though these may evolve over time. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Global Heads of Commercial, Legal and Governance and Event Delivery and Volunteering, the successful candidate will lead the development and execution of parkrun’s international growth strategy. Strategic Influence & Stature: Drive the overall presence, reputation, and stature of parkrun across North America, Europe and Africa. Strategic Partnerships & Coalitions: Cultivate and secure strategic relationships across commercial, governmental and participation based stakeholders, creating a network of advocates for parkrun’s vision and ambition aligned to strategic aims.
Revenue Generation & Sustainability: Working with the Global Commercial team, design and execute commercial revenue strategies tailored to North America, Europe and Africa.
