About the role
Reporting in to the Individual Giving Lead, the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will drive the strategy and execution of Christian Aid’s individual giving acquisition efforts, ensuring high impact campaigns like Christian Aid Week, Christmas and Emergency Appeals effectively attract new supporters. Through compelling messaging and innovative approaches, foster long-term, sustainable relationships,
optimising channels, products, and engagement strategies to maximise supporter growth.
The post-holder will lead on Regular Giving acquisition recruitment across multiple channels to grow lifetime giving and increasing the Christian Aid supporter base. They will be leading a team of two Individual Giving Acquisition Officers and collaborating with senior leadership, manage budgets, forecast the performance of campaigns and ensure cost-effective delivery, all while championing the ‘Believe in the Possible’ proposition to inspire and engage the next generation of supporters.

North East Young Dads and Lads (NEYDL) was founded in 2017 and has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s most recognised organisations supporting young dads, men aged 25 and under in a fathering role. Our vision is for young dads to be valued and supported as parents. In 2024/25 we supported 217 young dads directly and achieved 100% satisfaction among the young dads we work with.

About this role
We use the term ‘young dads’ to refer to young dads, expectant dads and non-birthing partners aged 25 and under. This includes people within this age bracket who self-identify as father figures, including kinship carers and non-birthing partners.
We use the term ‘neurodiverse’ as an inclusive term covering young dads who are autistic, have ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia or other forms of neurodivergence, whether formally diagnosed, self-identified or awaiting assessment. We recognise that neurodivergent young dads can face additional barriers in accessing parenting support, including in how services are structured, communicated and delivered, and that these barriers are often compounded by stigma, exclusion or a lack of appropriate adjustment.
This is a dedicated role to ensure neurodivergent young dads can access the high quality support NEYDL offers, and that our wider service offer is genuinely accessible to them. You will provide direct, adapted support to neurodivergent young dads, while also building NEYDL’s organisational understanding of how to work effectively and inclusively with this group.

JOB PURPOSE
To assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes. The role will keep projects running smoothly, maintain accurate monitoring data, and be a reliable first point of contact for members and delivery partners. The Programmes & Funding Officer will also assist in maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring that AdviceUK members have the practical support needed to access and sustain advice services.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Programme & Project Support
·Assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in the delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes and contribute to their design and development where required.
·Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of funded projects, keeping track of timelines, milestones and actions in line with agreed project plans.
·Support the coordination of AdviceUK staff and external associates/trainers involved in programme delivery.
·Maintain project governance processes and practical workflows to ensure funder requirements are met.
2.Development & Funding Support
·Conduct research on potential funders and commissioners at local and national levels to identify new opportunities.
·Provide administrative support during the drafting of funding bids, tenders, and proposals.
3.Relationship Management
·Liaise with members, stakeholders and partners to maintain positive working relationships.
·Support the Manager in organising meetings and events with key stakeholders in the advice sector.

4.Monitoring, Data & Evidence

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Medair UK team as we are seeking a part-time Head of Operations. The post holder will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Medair UK's finance, HR, IT and governance functions, ensuring robust systems, effective controls, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. They will support the Medair UK Director and Board of Trustees to ensure effective governance and management of the charity in accordance with best practice and ensure a sustainable operational platform is in place to support all Medair UK’s functions. This role will lead CAFOD’s policy and advocacy work aimed at building a fairer global financial system. The post holder will have a solid understanding of contemporary global economic issues, including the global debt crisis, development finance and the workings of international multilateral organisations. Working closely with CAFOD’s overseas partners and within UK and global networks, this role will hold policy expertise on behalf of the organisation. This will involve developing policy positions and representing the organisation externally. The role will work closely with CAFOD’s government relations and campaigns colleagues to lobby decision-makers and mobilise supporters as part of our economic justice work. Sitting within the Advocacy, Policy & Campaigns team, the role is managed by the head of department.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the development and delivery of CAFOD’s global economic justice advocacy strategy
Working in partnership with UK and global organisations to develop evidence‑based policy positions
Influencing UK, regional and global policy debates on the global debt crisis, and other economic justice issues
Representing CAFOD in coalitions, to decision makers, in church networks and at international forums
Writing policy briefings, reports and communication outputs
Building relationships with external stakeholders and decision makers and UK and global levels
Ensuring advocacy is grounded in strong analysis, partner experience and a commitment to social and environmental justice
Supporting advocacy work of partners and global networks on debt cancellation and financial system reform
Providing strategic and technical advice across the organisation

The Deputy Fitness Centre Manager is a role that is largely based on site (80:20 split) and the post holder will work a minimum of 14 hours per week at front of house, leading delivery.
