The Email Channel Manager will play a crucial role in driving supporter engagement, fundraising, and brand awareness through effective email and SMS communication strategies. They will be responsible for ensuring ARUK's email channel delivers a consistent, personalised, and user-centric experience, maximising supporter engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
· Email Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Senior Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive email strategy aligned with ARUK's fundraising, brand, communication, and advocacy goals.
· Platform Management: Own and manage the Dotdigital account (email and SMS), ensuring optimal performance, deliverability, and compliance.
· Cross-Platform Collaboration: Lead decision-making on email components for all platforms used at ARUK (Dotdigital, Funraisin, Outlook, etc.), ensuring a consistent and user-centric experience.
· Audience-Centric Approach: Champion a customer and supporter-centric approach to email communications, prioritising personalisation, segmentation, and relevance.
· Decision-Making Authority: Serve as the final decision-maker for all email channel-related matters, including marketing campaigns, automated journeys, transactional emails, and SMS initiatives.
Tactical Execution:
· Campaign & Calendar Management: Own the email calendar, plan, execute, and analyse email campaigns, including the monthly newsletter, welcome journeys, and A/B tests. Manage and delegate this work to the Email Officer and/or Email Executive where appropriate.
· Automation: Develop and implement automated email workflows to nurture leads, welcome new supporters and customers, re-engage lapsed donors, and drive conversions.
· Data Collaboration: Work closely with the data team to segment audiences, personalise content, and ensure seamless data integration between Salesforce and Dotdigital.
· Integration Management: Manage the technical integration between Salesforce and Dotdigital, ensuring data accuracy and maximising automation capabilities.
· Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed and accurate reporting on email performance, using data to drive optimisation and inform future strategies.
· User Journey Optimisation: Collaborate with the web unit to create seamless user journeys between the website and email communications.
Other Important Areas:
· SMS Channel Management: Manage and grow ARUK's SMS channel, leveraging its potential for timely and targeted communication. Also responsible for new 'SMS' adjacent channel strategies (e.g. Whatsapp).
· Continuous Improvement: Explore opportunities to upgrade Dotdigital to enable more reactive marketing based on web traffic.
· Knowledge Sharing: Share insights and best practices across ARUK, upskilling staff on effective email communication.
· Supporter Focus: Continuously monitor and analyse supporter data to understand preferences, identify churn risks, and optimise the email experience for higher engagement and growth.
· Using data and analytics to inform all aspects of email strategy, from segmentation and personalisation to campaign optimisation and automation.
· Collaboration: Particularly with the web team and data team, to ensure a seamless user experience and effective data utilisation.
· Strategic Focus: While tactical execution is important, strategic leadership in collaboration with the Senior Manager is essential, ensuring the email channel aligns with ARUK's broader goals and contributes to its mission.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Proven experience in email marketing, with a track record of developing and executing successful email campaigns.
· Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, segmentation, and personalisation.
· Experience in managing and optimising email marketing platforms, preferably Dotdigital.
· Expertise in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive actionable insights from campaign data.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About the role

We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. Event management and delivery
- Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on – monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities are seized and risks are minimised.

- Create recruitment assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our audiences.
- With the support of the team, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and database
- Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high quality fundraising merchandise.
- Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required – including coding, database administration, supplier payments, and income & expenditure tracking.
- Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.
Strategy and development
- Always have an eye on new opportunities and ideas to inject into your projects, taking a test & learn approach.
- Contribute to team strategy and budgeting, working with the team to create exciting plans.
- Lead on relevant projects to improve how we do things – from stewardship & content, to processes & compliance.

Teamwork

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.
The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. This includes developing the annual events strategy, managing income and expenditure, supporting ticket and table sales, sourcing prizes, and ensuring an exceptional supporter experience throughout.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, they will build and convert a pipeline of corporate partners, developing compelling proposals and securing new partnerships to meet income targets. Alongside delivery, the Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will monitor performance, manage budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and CRM data, working collaboratively with Fundraising and Marketing colleagues to maximise results.
Key Responsibilities
Major SOHK Events
- Events Lead: Take full ownership of the SOHK organised major events in England, Scotland and Wales.
- Develop and deliver an annual events strategy & Calendar that is aligned with FRT targets
- Set and manage event budgets, income targets and KPIs
- Ensure exceptional supporter experience at all touch points.
- Source high value auction and raffle prizes
- Work closely with FRT to sell tables & tickets at events.
- Ensure prize donors, table buyers and supporters have a great experience of SOHK – feeling thanked and appreciated.
- Plan thoroughly for post event stewardship and follow up
Corporate Partnerships (working with Head of Fundraising)
- Build a pipeline of potential corporate partners and continually seek to add to pipeline as needed
- Research and make high quality approaches
- Confidently write winning pitches and present at meetings
- Secure new partnerships to achieve income targets
- Stewardship: Act as the main point of contact for partnerships that are allocated to you; nurturing and strengthening the relationships

Reporting, Monitoring & Budgeting
- Report as required on all activity and progress to the Head of Fundraising

A fundamental part of this remit is to be actively involved in creating and delivering engagement activities each year as well as helping to create a sustainable culture of philanthropy. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a fundraising strategy including an annual plan for individual giving and major donor portfolio management

Job Purpose
The Development Manager will manage our fundraising and partnerships portfolio, supporting the stewardship of relationships with some of the world’s biggest environmental foundations and philanthropists. Fundraising Officer
We are seeking a proactive and strategic fundraiser to drive income growth and build lasting partnerships for the UK’s National trails.
Position: Fundraising Officer
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Location: Remote with occasional UK travel
Hours: Full time
Contract: 2 year fixed term contract

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a fundraising strategy focused on trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships and community engagement.
Working within a small, collaborative team, you will take ownership of funding applications and relationships, helping to grow income and shape the future of the organisation’s development function.
Key responsibilities include:
· Developing and growing the grants portfolio through research and networking
· Writing and submitting high quality funding applications for both core and project funding
· Building and managing relationships with corporate partners and sponsors
· Identifying and securing new partnership opportunities
· Supporting the development of individual giving, including regular giving and legacies
· Managing donor stewardship and maintaining strong relationships
· Engaging with members and supporting their fundraising activity where required
· Maintaining and developing the fundraising CRM database
· Keeping up to date with sector trends and opportunities
About You
You will be a confident, self-motivated fundraiser with a strong track record of securing income and building meaningful relationships.
You will have:
· Experience of trust and grant fundraising, including successful bid writing
· Experience developing and managing corporate partnerships
· Strong networking and relationship building skills
· Experience using charity CRM systems
· The ability to manage your own workload and work proactively
· A collaborative approach and ability to work within a small team
It would also be beneficial if you have:
· Knowledge of membership or infrastructure organisations
· An interest in outdoor access, heritage, or environmental sectors
· Experience working remotely and managing your own schedule

The Choir with No Name (CWNN) has been building supportive choir communities involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008. We were founded on the premise that singing makes you feel good; it is a welcome respite from the challenges life throws at you, and helps build confidence, skills and genuine, long-lasting friendships.

Your role
You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:

Work alongside our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote CWNN’s work, managing our social media platforms and external comms to ensure they reflect our strategic goals and values.
- Producing our supporter e-newsletter, with support from the Development team, to ensure CWNN’s key work, impact, news and campaigns are effectively promoted to our supporter base.

Create engaging digital content for our website and social media including written copy, video and graphics, to drive engagement, increase awareness and generate income.

Capturing and analysing key campaign engagement KPIs to inform future strategies and approaches to best engage existing and new audiences.

Produce quarterly comms impact overview for senior management and trustee reports.

Create marketing materials for external use, eg. corporate pitch documents, fundraising packs, gig programmes, flyers and posters using Canva.

Co-creating case studies, supporting members to share their stories, their way, amplifying their voices and demonstrating the impact of our choirs to stakeholders.

Co-lead our co-produced ‘Digital Storytellers’ programme with our Community Participation Manager, supporting members to manage their own local social media accounts, sharing their stories and raising awareness of their choirs to new audiences.

Maintain, organise and populate CWNN’s media library and YouTube channel.

Write and distribute press releases to both regional and national press and media, fielding media enquiries and building our media contacts.

Oversight of the day to day content management and maintenance of the website

Co-ordinate our internal communications programme and internal newsletter, working with senior leadership team.

Carry out any other tasks that arise that are within the scope and purpose of the post as requested by your line manager
About you
Essential:
- You’ll have a proven track record in delivering successful, innovative and impactful charity communications content and strategies.
- You’ll have a good understanding of how fundraising and engagement campaigns can convert individuals into donors and advocates.
- You’ll have a creative eye and strong writing skills, with experience of bringing compelling stories to life across various platforms and media, to connect with a diverse range of supporters, funders and stakeholders.
- You’ll be able to multitask effectively, be highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- You’ll be proactive, self-motivated and can identify and act on opportunities as they arise.
- You’ll be reliable with an ability to work independently and have fantastic planning skills.
- You’ll have a deep understanding of how successful social media content and campaigns work, and always have an eye emerging digital trends and tech.
- You’ll be experienced in using design and web platforms (we use Canva, Squarespace, ClipChamp, Later) to create and deliver professional and impactful digital multi-media content.

Desirable:
- You’ll have a passion for, or experience of, working with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, and an understanding of the power of the arts to change people’s lives.
