One25 works with women who are trapped in street sex work, supporting them to move from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.

We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Health Hub provides vital support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.

One25 are recruiting a part time Service Manager to join a dedicated and passionate team who deliver high quality services to women. The successful applicant will oversee management of the health hub service and group work activities and work collaboratively with other service managers to support the delivery of and connection between One25’s van outreach and casework services. You will support a team of specialist case workers to deliver one-to-one support to women as well as working closely with dedicated volunteers within services.

One25 are currently trialling a 4 Day Week. This means that staff work 20% less for the same salary following a successful probation period. Hours: 22.5 hours per week over 3 days (days to be negotiated). Service Managers are required to complete a monthly van outreach shift (evening/night hours which can be taken back as TOIL) and to participate in the evening on-call rota (typically once every few months).

We are seeking an experienced charity manager to coordinate and manage the activity of the BVA Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF), which places animal welfare at the forefront of veterinary knowledge via research, education and debate.

You will have a strong track record of working with a Board of Trustees and associated committees on the successful implementation of a charity strategy, alongside an ability to lead on the implementation of a focused fundraising strategy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, and work to strict deadlines. Alongside experience of a variety of fundraising activities, event planning, and knowledge of charity governance, this new role represents an exciting opportunity to optimise the unique partnership with BVA and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to raise the profile of AWF.

Currently there are no direct line management responsibilities but as the charity develops it is likely that line management responsibilities will become part of this role. The role will also involve working closely with BVA’s policy and public affairs, media and campaigns, and marketing and events teams.

This role is pivotal to AWF and will have a lasting impact on the charity.

The role offers a unique opportunity to lead the business development and management of the Trust’s consultancy (Cumbria Wildlife Consulting (CWC)) and commercial plant nursery, ensuring they together provide a high-quality integrated service, meet financial targets, and align with the Trust's mission to protect and restore Cumbria’s natural environment, and inspire action. 

Since 2023, the Trust has run a semi-commercial nursery at its Gosling Sike site near Carlisle, providing local provenance, peat-free plug plants for use in our projects, but also selling to partner organisations. The Trust has recently secured funding to expand its operation, increasing capacity and enabling more efficient production.  

In addition to the above, the role will also build new, high-value strategic partnerships and business relationships with a focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities within the nature economy.

What we are looking for:

An individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about delivering nature’s recovery in Cumbria, but who is also business-minded with a proven track record of working in a commercial environment. They should possess the relevant skills, experience and confidence to grow new business ventures, taking them to the next stage. Applicants should be self-motivated, organised and have experience of leading teams both remotely and in person. A full driving licence and access to a car with business use insurance are desirable.

The Impact and Networks Manager plays a central role in delivering Beyond Equality’s wider impact strategy. This includes coordinating practitioner networks, managing external partnerships, supporting the development of resources and insight, and ensuring that learning from practice informs wider systems, narratives and policy engagement.

A key part of the role is coordinating a national network of organisations working with men and boys.

Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children, by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

About the role:

This role is based in Cumbria.

As a Perpetrator Service Operations Manager you will oversee 4 Case Managers and 2 IDVA's. You will:

• ensure that all support and advice given is in line with Drive Partnership key messages and strategic objectives.
• contribute to the development of the Drive model through service reviews, supporting the Drive Partnership in delivery challenges and implementation of changes to the Drive operational model.
• act as a champion for Drive across the area in all aspects of development and delivery. You will be expected to represent the service at local and national events; deliver training and presentations as appropriate.
• support the Commissioner and Drive Central Team in identifying and securing resources and implementing future funding plans agreed for the service.
• be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse, and/or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

As a senior member of the Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity (BWHC) Fundraising & Marketing team, your main objective is to lead the development and management of our community fundraising programme to maximise income to meet annual targets.

You will play a vital role in stewarding effective relationships to maximise support from our existing supporters and crucially, for driving new donor acquisition to ensure the sustainability of our work.  Developing our community fundraising programme is essential to our income base and profile. Central to our work is supporting our volunteer fundraisers, driving participant numbers for challenge events, recruiting and engaging volunteers to help raise awareness of the impact of our hospitals across Bristol and Weston. Crucially, delivering on our 2025-2030 strategy alongside the rest of the Fundraising and Marketing team will be a key part of your role.

Supported by the Head Public Fundraising, you will develop strategic and operational plans and budgets for your operational area to meet growth targets and you will ensure to focus on the objective of focusing on current and lapsed supporters.

This is a dynamic and varied role where you will work closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and hospital teams to deliver our 2025–2030 strategy and bring our community closer to the charity’s mission.

Key Accountabilities

Community & Events Fundraising

• To maximise fundraising income by managing and delivering overall recruitment and stewardship of fundraising groups, individual supporters (including in memory fundraisers and funeral collections), ambassadors and volunteers
• To develop and manage the team, empowering them to deliver the BWHC ‘In Aid of’ strategic plan, focussing on expanding the network of supporters who fundraise for and are happy to represent BWHC externally
• To develop, manage and deliver the BWHC Community Group plan, focusing on acquisition of new supporters and development of our retention plan
• To raise income and profile through the development, management, promotion of a portfolio of events (BWHC events, third party events and In Aid of events), ensuring maximum participation
• To develop and manage the team to deliver stewardship of in memory fundraisers and income from funeral collection
• To work with the Hospital Partnership Manager to develop a strategic approach to increase levels of hospital staff fundraising
• To manage and develop BWHC’s trading offer, including overall management of the physical Fundraising Hub and development of online shop
• To ensure exceptional, personalised but proportionate donor stewardship including continued development of product led stewardship e.g. in celebration
• To oversee the recruitment, training, stewardship and management of volunteers to provide support across the charity
• To work with the Brand & Marketing Team to create and deliver a media programme to maximise participation in BWHC activity
• Supported by the Head of Public Fundraising, to work with the IG & Legacy Manager and Supporter Experience, Data & Insight Team in particular to define, develop and deliver cross-portfolio supporter journeys and consistent supporter care.
   

Leadership & Management

• To provide strong leadership and management to the Community Partnerships & Events Fundraising Officer, Community Partnerships & Event Assistant and Volunteer Officer to ensure they are encouraged and motivated to perform at their best, fulfil their role and achieve agreed targets/KPI’s.

Strategy and Planning

• Contribute to the development and review of Fundraising & Marketing strategy.  
• Accountability for Community Fundraising plan and maximising long-term growth in this area
• Develop, implement and monitor annual operational plans, budgets and income forecasting, and ensure internal reporting is completed
• Ongoing evaluation of activity to ensure maximised return on investment

Key Purpose / WHY?

The Carers Services Manager will play a vital role in leading a team to assist unpaid carers to connect with their communities and access the support they need within Herefordshire. The role will support the Herefordshire team, who deliver the ‘what matters’ assessment to carers and provide bespoke, person-centered information, advice and guidance to people accessing our services. Support includes but is not limited to; one-to-one support, events and activities, as well as signposting and referring to relevant agencies for additional support helping people on their caring journey. The role will work alongside internal teams and external partners to create community connections, develop an outreach support program, linking people to community resources with a focus on preventing the need for escalation to statutory services.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities

1. Service Leadership and Delivery

· Oversee day to day delivery of our commissioned Information, Advice and Guidance service for unpaid Carers in Herefordshire

· Facilitate the application, review and distribution of small grants to unpaid carers across the region as required

· Monitor service quality and delivery and report monthly Key Performance Indicators and quarterly monitoring reports to Local Authority Commissioners. Ensure reporting demonstrates the scale, impact, and quality of our services.

· Meet with commissioners to review service performance quarterly

· Ensure the service is visible and accessible to carers from all communities

· Support carer self-identification and address barriers to engagement, including those faced by underrepresented groups of carers

· Help raise the profile and recognition of TuVida to assist with recruitment, service-user and partner engagement and financial sustainability by contributing to social media presence and the website
