We are looking for an experienced supporter care or customer service professional to join our team, as a Supporter Care Administrator.
About the Role
The Supporter Care team is a knowledgeable, personable team who provides a point of access for all supporter enquiries and support donation processing, and teams across fundraising to deliver excellent customer experience.
Your role as a Supporter Care Administrator will provide a key point of engagement for our supporters and provide a knowledgeable and professional experience; whether they are looking to find out more or donate to the charity.
Reporting to the Supporter Care Team Leader and sitting within the wider fundraising team, you will provide high quality care to our supporters from within the fire and rescue services and wider public, via phone, email and web-based apps.
With the team, you will be implementing the new Supporter Care Strategy, in line with an increasing focus on great supporter experience. You will be an important champion for our supporters, developing processes and insight to measure this and share feedback that highlights opportunities and challenges.
There will be the occasional requirement to travel within the UK for in person trainings or meetings. This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
About You
To be successful you will have strong customer support experience, either directly working with supporters in charities, or be able to demonstrate relevant and transferable experience of excellent customer service principles and knowledge.
Our ideal candidate will also have a good knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding and inclusion best practices, experience of data entry and CRM systems, and will be a clear communicator with good attention to detail.

The Communities Workstream sits at the heart of Black Thrive Lambeth’s model and is the primary mechanism through which the organisation remains deeply connected to Black residents across the borough. Covering communities from Waterloo to Central Hill Estate, the workstream focuses on Black adults and their wellbeing, ensuring that lived experience directly informs strategy, systems change, and service design.
This workstream is responsible for building, maintaining, and nurturing relationships at grassroots level—with residents, community leaders, and Black-led organisations doing vital work across Lambeth. It acts as a bridge between community insight and institutional decision-making, ensuring that Black voices are not only heard but embedded within policy and practice.
The Communities Workstream plays a critical role in:
· Creating and holding trusted community spaces for dialogue, healing, and collective action
· Supporting community-led initiatives and amplifying grassroots leadership
· Facilitating co-production between residents and statutory partners
· Translating community priorities into practical recommendations for systems change
The workstream also underpins Black Thrive Lambeth’s strong relationships with Lambeth Council and other statutory partners, providing a credible, community-informed route for collaboration and influence. Through this role, the Communities Workstream ensures Black Thrive Lambeth remains accountable to the people it exists to serve, while driving long-term improvements in wellbeing, equity, and outcomes for Black communities in Lambeth.

Role Description
To support the Black Thrive Lambeth Communities workstream in engaging with Black community members in the boroughs of Black Thrive Lambeth.
The long-term ambition of the Communities workstream is to liaise with Black communities and other stakeholders involved in the delivery of Black Thrive’s Thriving Futures – Scaling Systems Change programme.
The immediate priority for the role is to identify the people and resources that can support the development of the Communities workstream in Lambeth. This role will work closely with those involved in the Black Thrive Thriving Futures programme and will have a wide range of responsibilities from communications activities, event management to research and administration.
1. Support the Black Thrive LambethLocality Lead in delivering the outputs of Black Thrive’s Thriving Futures – Scaling Systems Change programme and other related activities to achieve programme objectives and milestones.
2. Engage and collaborate with Thriving Futures Collective partners across Haringey, Birmingham, Wales, and Scotland, sharing learning and best practices from community project delivery in Lambeth.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with Black Thrive Lambeth Black communities by designing, managing, and updating databases to support engagement with community members, partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
4. Maintain Black Thrive’s internal systems to ensure the efficient delivery of the Thriving Futures workstream.
5. Work with the Locality Lead to strengthen engagement with the local community and Black-led voluntary sector in Lambeth.
6. Contribute to research and learning by collaborating with the Black Thrive Global Research Institute to aid in collecting and reporting quantitative and qualitative data that informs programme delivery and impact.
7. Organise, facilitate, and present at key events, including locality Community Assemblies, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting of participant engagement.
8. Lead on creating engaging content, including blog posts and digital communications, to effectively promote Black Thrive’s work across internal and external channels.
9. Support the Locality Lead with onboarding and engaging new stakeholders in Scotland/Wales; occasional travel may be required.
10. Ensure compliance with legislation and organisational policies, including equality, safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, and financial governance.
11. Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support delivery of key events.
12. Provide programme management support, including monitoring progress against milestones, tracking risks and issues, and ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
13. Work closely with the Locality Lead to provide programme support across activities, ensuring alignment with overall objectives and effective coordination across localities.

Personal Specification
Essential
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a community-based role and/or setting.
· At least 2 years’ experience in stakeholder management across different levels of seniority.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint (or equivalent platforms).
· Strong commitment to equality, with a solid understanding of the experiences of Black people of African and Caribbean descent and a determination to address the factors that negatively impact their health and wellbeing.

Overview
Involve Community Services is a local infrastructure charity that supports the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sectors of Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough. We offer development and governance support, funding advice, grant writing, volunteer and trustee recruitment, and a comprehensive training programme. We also run several well-being projects that include Community Navigation, Cancer Support and Social Prescribing within Wokingham Borough.
Role summary
The Community Development Worker will work across Wokingham Borough to assist small charities, community groups and social enterprises who have a health and well-being focus, as well as those organisations who aid residents with protected characteristics. They will assist organisations to find solutions to existing challenges and overcome barriers to optimise their delivery, e.g., through sourcing volunteers, committee members, funding opportunities, forming simple governance structures, and seeking premises.
The post holder will advocate for members of the community with protected characteristics as well as those whose voices are seldom heard, and act as a voice for marginalised groups, to aid inclusive decision making and delivery of services across the borough. The postholder will develop a broad, informed view of the local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector and will communicate this to colleagues within Involve, the wider Friendship Alliance (a collective of charities who have a shared interest in addressing loneliness and social isolation), and to statutory partners. The postholder will also identify gaps in provision and help to develop or enhance existing partnerships so to optimise their impact to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly attend community events throughout Wokingham Borough
- Create quarterly reports to articulate the work of the postholder.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office (usually between 2–4 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). For many roles, this is likely to be the minimum required to deliver impact. This will be discussed and agreed with your manager / team and we encourage candidates to discuss our ways of working in more detail at interview stage.
Please note: travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.
Out of hours working
From time to time, you may be asked to work outside normal business hours, such as in the evening or at the weekend, to support activities like system upgrades or maintenance. This is expected to be infrequent (usually no more than four times a year) and we'll always give you as much notice as possible.
In exceptional situations, such as a major emergency, humanitarian response, cyber attack, or total system failure, you may be asked to temporarily adjust your working hours to help manage the situation.

While the role can be primarily remote, there is an expectation of regular on-site presence, including a minimum of one day per week in the office. The postholder will also be required to attend external face-to-face meetings to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and to attend all in-office staff days.

Legacies and in-memory giving play a vital role in ensuring lasting change for communities around the world. The Senior Legacy and In-Memory Marketing Executive will help deepen our supporters’ connection to our mission — inspiring them to create a legacy of hope and opportunity for future generations.
Reporting to the Supporter Development and Legacies Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of the legacy strategy, delivering thoughtful, inspiring campaigns that celebrate the impact of legacy and in-memory giving. You’ll combine creative storytelling with data-driven insight to nurture meaningful supporter journeys, ensuring everyone who chooses to remember us — in their will or in tribute to a loved one feels valued, respected, and part of something truly transformative.
About You:
ESSENTIAL
• Proven skills and aptitudes to complete complicated procedures
• Demonstrable analytical skills and highly numerate with experience of keeping and monitoring financial & budgeting reports.
• Proven experience and knowledge of legacy giving, including channels for direct marketing to drive legacy giving.
• Experience of using a fundraising database for effective analysis of direct marketing campaigns and trend giving patterns
• Strong understanding of donor stewardship and the motivations behind legacy and in-memory giving.
• Experience of working with external suppliers to deliver successful direct marketing campaigns
• Strong organisational planning and project management skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent written skills including experience of writing and commenting on fundraising copy
• Understanding data protection, GDPR, and ethical fundraising standards.
