We are recruiting a Marketing Lead (Maternity Cover) who will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans and delivering campaigns and activity that engages the public through music, art, gaming, sport and other creative industries (including film, fashion and TV) for campaigns including BRITS Week, Secret 7”, Sound and Vision, Jingle Jam, War Child Record releases and other exciting arts, music, gaming and partnership opportunities.

You will activate these campaigns with the goal of generating funds and increasing our brand presence. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Campaigns, your role will include line managing three members of the Communications and Campaigns Team, as well as project managing external agencies, to deliver high performing integrated communications and marketing activity across digital channels, PR, digital marketing, design, content and narrative creation.

You will be the marketing expert for the organisation, working side by side with creative teams across the organisation to design marketing and communications plans, ensuring that the creative, content and narrative elements add significant value, and most importantly provide a WOW factor to our work. You will both be able to come up with imaginative ideas and ensure they are implemented to a high standard but also have exceptional organisational and project management skills that bring this work together.

This role is offered as an 11-month maternity cover contract, ideally starting in mid-April.

•  Highly experienced marketer and project manager.

About the role

As Legal Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening how the Legal Team operates, enabling it to deliver high-quality, timely and impactful legal support across Save the Children UK.

Working closely with the General Counsel and Head of Legal, you will design and implement operational frameworks, processes and tools, use data and technology to improve efficiency, and support effective management of external legal resources. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust as our new Project Manager - National Cycle Network, working within the Delivery Team to lead the successful delivery of active travel infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone with exceptional project management skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. While some technical knowledge of active travel is important, the focus of this role is on leading complex projects, coordinating teams, and driving collaboration to achieve sustainable, high-quality outcomes.

As Project Manager - National Cycle Network (Network Development Manager), you will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects that enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. You will combine strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership to make a real impact.

• Develop and execute quarterly campaigns plans to manage and schedule relevant advocacy, policy and research work to further our strategic aims

• Co-ordinate a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team to pursue campaign goals

• Strategise/oversee development of campaign materials & engaging supporter actions

Meet your Manager

In this role, you will be managed by Hannah Braithwaite who is based in London. Hannah is responsible for leading ClientEarth’s fundraising efforts for its growing portfolio of programmes. Hannah has dedicated her career to raising funds and resources for climate and nature causes. With a degree in Zoology from Sheffield University, Hannah combines her scientific background with her passion for the environment to generate impact with knowledge and credibility. Prior to joining ClientEarth Hannah has held a number of leading roles at prominent international environmental organisations, including Head of External Affairs at the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre and Head of Trusts and Foundations at Fauna & Flora.

Main Duties

• Develop and implement the global philanthropy strategy as part of the overall fundraising strategy, liaising with senior leadership, programme leads, communications and finance to ensure ClientEarth can maximise the potential income from major donors.
• Develop, implement and achieve relevant KPIs and financial targets for the philanthropy team and lead on the production of appropriate reports for senior management and the board of trustees.
• Using the strategy (organisational and fundraising) the Head of Philanthropy will personally manage and support senior staff on holding income-yielding high-level relationships.
• Manage relationships and drive strategy relating to our senior stakeholders such as the Development Board, Chair of the Board and act as a key facilitator and steward of relationships between foundation staff and key programme contacts.
• Set up and implement systems to review performance against set targets and objectives and monitor funder data and oversee the effective management of our database;

About the Role

As a Membership Engagement Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Membership Engagement Manager and the wider team to deliver an exceptional membership experience.

This role ensures the smooth operation of the College’s membership services and contributes to achieving our strategic engagement objectives.

A solid understanding of project planning tools and techniques is essential, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

About you

We’re looking for an organised project-manager and ideally someone with experience of delivering communications to a mass audience and/or digital acquisition. You’ll be an excellent communicator, online and in print, and be comfortable having tactful conversations with our supporters.

As this role is temporary maternity cover, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and get involved with multiple projects straight away. To be successful in this role you will:

• be an effective project-manager, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieve objectives
• enjoy thinking creatively and using storytelling to bring complex issues to life
• be confident in your communication skills, whether writing persuasively for a specific audience or talking 1:1 with a supporter of Crisis

About the role

Since Crick’s inception in 2015, its external funding portfolio has steadily grown and diversified with funding now received from a broad range of national and international funding bodies, each with their own regulations, policies and conditions.

As Senior Manager – Post-Award Grant Compliance, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the Crick’s continued adherence to funder terms and conditions. You’ll lead the development and implementation of robust post-award grant processes, working across internal teams to provide expert guidance on compliance and regulatory requirements. Acting as the primary point of contact for external funding bodies, you’ll maintain a deep understanding of funder policies and ensure that grants and contracts are managed accordingly.  As an experienced post-award professional, you will have familiarity with business-as-usual research finance practices including project reconciliation using general ledger reports, funder invoicing, journal posting, budgeting, income recognition and other month-end processes.

As a senior member of the Finance and Grants team, you’ll also provide leadership support by deputising for the Post-Award Team Lead when required, a responsibility that could lead to future opportunities for line management.
