The Head of Trusts and Foundations plays a pivotal role in the delivery of this vision, leading on the significant growth of restricted and unrestricted funds through this income stream. You will line manage a Trusts & Foundations Manager and a Trusts & Foundations Officer, collaborating closely with them in order to drive success and deliver against target. You will be personally responsible for securing new high value multi-year relationships (six and seven figures) as well as stewarding a range of existing high value relationships. You will also play an important leadership role across the organisation, working with colleagues in all departments to ensure an efficient and effective approach that delivers for children and young people and youth workers and organisations across the capital. 

What you will be doing

• Lead on the development and implementation of a successful trusts and foundations strategy that achieves £2.5m of restricted and unrestricted income by the end of 2026 and delivers growth from 2027. 
• Offer inspirational leadership to the Trusts and Foundations Team, line managing a T&F manager and a T&F officer. 
• Take overall responsibility for developing and managing a robus pipeline of trusts and foundations and statutory funders that enables London Youth to hit its income targets, coordinating the distribution of responsibilities across the team, including the implementation of a quarterly mailout.
• Work in close collaboration with appropriate teams across London Youth to ensure all applications and proposals produced by the team are compelling, accurate, produced to the highest possible standards, and submitted to deadline. 
• Ensure contracts or MOUs are in place with all funders and that all conditions and reporting requirements are clear and met. 
• Ensure all information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner on Salesforce, enabling you to track progress against monthly income targets and KPIs, and expertly steward and manage all relationships with funders. 
• Lead on the development of the annual Trusts and Foundations budgets and the monthly review of management accounts for your area. 
• Produce appropriate reports and presentations for team, directorate, senior team, committee, and board meetings. 
• Prepresent the fundraising team in leadership team meetings and senior meetings as appropriate when required. 
• Contribute to wider fundraising and communications led activities such as site visits, Lunch and Learn sessions, the London Youth Awards, and external networking opportunities. 
• Ensure you and your team understands the external funding environment, spotting trends, identifying opportunities, and making informed strategic recommendations for how London Youth should be operating in such an environment. 

What you bring to the role 

Knowledge and Experience: 

• Proven ability to lead and manage a trusts and foundations team and deliver growth through this income stream. 
• Experience of successfully delivering six and seven figure funds. 
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with delivery, finance, policy, data and learning, and senior teams to develop applications and proposals. 
• Proven project management skills. 
• First class relationship management skills. 
• Demonstrable knowledge of UK and London funders. 
• Ability to undertake rigorous prospect research and build and manage a robust pipeline.
• An analytical approach with experience of regularly recording and reporting on data, including an ability to interpret financial data. 
• Experience of acting as an organisational ambassador in a range of outward facing contexts. 
• Awareness of Fundraising Regulatory Framework.

Our Health Team has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Health Lead to join us, working across our Lewisham hostels. This is a role where you’ll shape how health support is delivered day to day, making sure people experiencing homelessness can access the care they need and stay connected to it.

You’ll work directly with residents who are often facing complex and long-standing health needs, supporting them in a way that is consistent, person-centred and genuinely meaningful. From completing initial health screenings and building tailored support plans, to making referrals and encouraging engagement with services like dentistry, mental health and primary care, you’ll play a key role in helping people take steps towards better health and stability.

Alongside this, you’ll hold a caseload of clients requiring more intensive support, working with them to understand their health, manage conditions and attend appointments. You’ll build strong, trusting relationships that help people feel more confident engaging with services, while also working closely with colleagues and partners to create a more joined-up and accessible health offer. Grounded in a psychologically informed approach, this role is about more than access – it’s about helping people make lasting improvements to their health and wellbeing.

Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School has a charitable foundation, the BRGS Fundraising Trust, that raises and distributes funding to support Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School pupils. It exists to expand opportunities and improve outcomes for all pupils at the school, with a particular focus on supporting those with additional barriers to success, such as pupils from lower‑income families.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a talented individual to lead the development of fundraising and alumni engagement for the BRGS Fundraising Trust. Your expertise will secure the support of our community to continue to provide an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with strong fundraising knowledge and skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering fundraising projects and campaigns, preferably in education contexts, with proven ability to develop relationships with alumni, parents and other donors.

The successful candidate will be employed by Star Academies and will deliver the fundraising strategy for the school and charity.

You will have:

• A degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in fundraising through individual giving and major donors.
• Experience cultivating and stewarding major donors and senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of effective fundraising practice and donor stewardship.
• Knowledge of alumni relations and community engagement strategies.

The LSE’s Philanthropy and Global Engagement (PAGE) division seek a Senior Corporate Engagement Manager, a key member of the division responsible for developing and overseeing the School’s relations with businesses and external third parties (public sector and not-for-profits), both in the UK and internationally.

Your focus will be on driving new relationships with organisations, especially in new geographical territories such as EMEA, and in new sectors such as AI and advanced manufacturing, as well as working closely with senior stakeholders within the School to increase philanthropic opportunities and facilitate delivery.

About Emerging Futures

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is an independent social change organisation, working to support and speed up the transition to a more equitable and just future, free from poverty, where people and planet can flourish. Our Emerging Futures programme, established in 2022, has 3 aims:

1. We support, shield, connect and nurture organisations and collaborations demonstrating what just and regenerative futures could look like
    
2. We build capacities and create conditions that will move us towards regenerative and just futures
    
3. We learn and model the behaviours and ways of working that are required of wealth-holders in these times of transition.

We are working with partners across multiple fields who are shaping new ideas, new power structures and new infrastructures for long-term systems change.

Now in the second year of a five‑year, £45 million commitment approved by our Trustees, Emerging Futures is continuing to develop programmes across place‑based work in York and the North East, transformative wealth practices, and regenerative futures.

We are building a new Conditions and Capacities team, which this role will be a key part of – a growing, collaborative team dedicated to ensuring we have the organisational conditions and individual and collective capabilities needed for this work - including team stewarding, learning and knowledge infrastructure, storytelling and programme management systems.

About the role

We are looking for a Programme and Partnerships Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of programme and partnership management systems across all Emerging Futures programmes, ensuring our programme and partnership management systems reflect our commitment to centering equity, power and justice in our work.

In this role, you will assist programme teams in tracking progress, monitoring budgets and gathering information to enable seamless delivery. Working closely with the Programme and Partnerships Lead and the Core team, you will help develop and implement programme and partnership management systems, while collaborating with the Procurement and Finance teams to maintain strong relationships throughout contracting processes.

You will also manage the administrative aspects of commissioning and contracting, ensuring information is provided on time and that partners experience a smooth and efficient process. A key part of the role is managing programme information within Emerging Futures and the wider JRF, working alongside other members of the conditions and capacities team to capture insights and share and embed learning across knowledge systems.

Additionally, you will gather and analyse data about our partners, sharing insights across the team, and scan emerging ideas and practices in programme operations. By identifying opportunities for Emerging Futures to pilot and learn from innovative approaches, you will help the programme remain at the forefront of programme management practice.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management tools and techniques and be able to apply anti-oppressive principles and practices to the design and development of operational systems. You will have experience supporting the delivery of complex projects in fast-changing contexts, alongside a proven track record of successfully managing relationships with external stakeholders who have diverse expertise and needs. Equally, you will be adept at building positive, collaborative relationships across internal teams with different priorities and ways of working.

You will be highly organised and skilled at prioritising tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information and ensuring it is easily accessible to others. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential with a good level of numeracy to understand and convey financial information. You will have excellent skills in IT, including MS Office, Google Drive, online meeting platforms and project management/collaboration tools such as Asana, Mural and Notion.

Are you passionate about shaping churches to become more welcoming and accessible to newcomers, strengthening local expressions of sanctuary and helping to embed racial justice principles into ministry and practice?

We’re looking for a Sanctuary & Racial Justice Officer to build inclusive communities by helping parishes across Kent become more welcoming, accessible and culturally aware for refugees, asylum seekers and newcomers.

Reporting to the Strategic Lead for Sanctuary & Racial Justice, you’ll coordinate existing Welcome Hubs in Canterbury and help launch new hubs in Folkestone, Ashford and Dover. Working with churches, volunteers, councils and community partners, you’ll strengthen local sanctuary, deliver racial justice training and develop practical tools that embed justice into everyday ministry.

This is an exciting, hands-on, people-centric role with so much variety — part community development, part volunteer leadership, as well as a mixture of training and partnership working.

We’re looking for someone with experience of supporting vulnerable people and working with volunteers, a good understanding of racial justice in practice and strong organisational and communication skills. You’ll be confident working across communities, able to manage multiple priorities and be motivated by seeing people and parishes flourish.

You’ll need to be a practising Christian, have the right to work in the UK, have a full, clean driving licence and the ability to travel across Kent and comfortable working flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.

The Canterbury Diocesan Board of Finance employs this role on behalf of the Social Justice Network (SJN), a UK-based charity that works to promote social justice, inclusion and support for vulnerable communities. One of SJN’s key initiatives is the Sanctuary & Racial Justice Programme, which works with local authorities, charities and community groups to support and integrate refugee families into their communities. 

The Social Justice Network aims to bring people together. Issues such as low income, debt, lack of skills, poor mental health, forced displacement and isolation are closely interlinked, trapping individuals and communities in cycles of poverty. Our vision is for all churches, in every community, to work together to tackle these issues through action, prayer and giving.

Our Sanctuary & Racial Justice Programmes help individuals and families rebuild their lives after forced displacement. Services include Welcome Hubs, Arts and Wellbeing activities, ESOL classes, employment support and casework. We focus on fostering long-term, meaningful connections with local church communities to restore stability, dignity and belonging. 

It is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder is a practising Christian, committed to the faith. This is essential to support and encourage parishes in living out their faith through social action and to engage authentically with the Diocese’s vision and principles in the Sanctuary & Racial Justice Programme.
