What the job involves
We’re looking for two Events and Community Coordinators to join our Events and Community Team, one permanent contract and one fixed term for 12 months. · Lead creative projects and commissioning
Leads creative projects in house and with external suppliers, from concept, brief and storyboard through production, edit and delivery. Manages production schedules, budgets and approvals while protecting the quality and ambition of the creative work
· Share creative expertise
Works with teams and food banks to identify strong stories and content opportunities. Provides practical creative advice that helps colleagues develop audience-focused content and make the most of existing assets.
· Support creative systems and suppliers
Supports the Senior Creative Manager to maintain a strong roster of photography, film and animation suppliers. Works with the Library Officer to ensure content is stored, shared and reused effectively through the digital asset management system.

Core Knowledge
· Specialist film and photography production, including creative development, shooting, editing and post-production.
· Camera techniques, video post-production and Adobe editing software.
· A working knowledge of design, illustration, and animation software.
· Knowledge of mobile-first filming and editing approaches, including iPhone filming and tools such as CapCut or in-app editing

Dealing directly with supporters and liaising with teams across the Charity, the role requires an effective communicator, with great attention to detail, who is proactive and has a passion for fundraising.

The Communications and Research Officer is a new post designed to help bridge the gap between the research and campaigning work of Drone Wars UK and our supporters and the general public. The role is split 50/50 between communications and research. The communications element combines social media activity, website content creation and email communications, helping to ensure our messages are communicated clearly, consistently and creatively across a range of channels. The research element consists of undertaking a number of short-term specific research projects alongside participation in on-going longer-term research work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging content as well as undertaking in-depth investigations that contribute to positive social change. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and supporter data, you'll manage complex data selections, oversee data imports into Microsoft Dynamics and use SQL to deliver accurate, timely insights that power successful campaigns.
