Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Services, you’ll bring teams together around shared campaigns and supporter journeys that deepen engagement and expand our reach. You’ll bring experience in brand and marketing that goes beyond delivery with a track record of shaping how an organisation is seen, understood and supported. When young people in care turn 18, all the support they’ve relied on can fall away, literally overnight. Suddenly, they have to navigate adulthood on their own. This would be tough for any teenager, even if they could fall back on their family for help. So it’s not surprising that two out of three care-experienced young people feel unprepared to leave care. Too many still don’t get the support they need to make it safely past this cliff edge.
Care leavers aged 18-21 are nine times more likely to experience homelessness than their peers.
Settle exists to change this. We’re an award-winning charity, supporting care-experienced young people as they move into their first home, so they can confidently transition into independent living, avoid eviction and homelessness, and establish the foundations they need to thrive in adulthood. We are on a mission to end homelessness among care-experienced young people.
With our current Head of Fundraising leaving us to go travelling, we’re seeking someone new to help us achieve this ambition. You’ll have a lot to build on. Over the last three years, we’ve grown our income dramatically, and diversified our funder portfolio. We have strong relationships with our committed and supportive funders, underpinned by an organisation-wide commitment to fundraising.
This is a crucial role for Settle, and you’ll have the support you need to excel. In 2025, we grew our fundraising team from one (this post) to three. You’ll take on the leadership of an engaged and enthusiastic team, increasingly responsible for day-to-day management of trust and foundation fundraising. As well as inspiring the team to great things, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and deepen our relationships with philanthropists and high net worth individuals. You’ll have active support and engagement from me and the Board, with regular opportunities to involve trustees in your work.

Hours: The hours are full-time (35 hours per week) preferred, with attendance at funder events outside core hours as needed from time to time – part-time will be considered for the right candidate but we envisage at least 0.8FTE / 28 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working between our office in London Bridge and working from home – our standard expectation is at least 2 days a week of contact time (in the office, funder meetings or events). We have a monthly in person team meeting on a Wednesday, and hold our monthly SLT meetings in person on a Tuesday.

About the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF)
All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The Youth Endowment Fund believes that no child should be affected by violence. We research violence to understand it; we find, fund and test what works to prevent it; and we are building a movement to end it.
Communications at YEF
The Communications team, within the External Affairs and Youth Understanding directorate, is a critical arm of the organisation. We can only reduce violence if people hear about what works and put it into practice. Change is hard and it only happens if people trust where it comes from and want to engage with what we are communicating. We can only make change at scale if we’re smart about using digital tools to reach a growing, diverse audience across society.
We need professionals working across our sectors — youth-workers, police officers, social workers, policymakers, headteachers, and more — to find out about and be part of our movement. To do this, we must communicate with humility, authenticity and clarity.
We need politicians, commissioners and funders to follow our guidance and use our products. To do this, we must secure a seat at the table, communicate with intellectual rigour and persuade using the evidence.
We also need to connect with wider society, helping anyone who cares about making Britain safer for the next generation to understand what we do, what works and how they can support our cause. To do this, our brand must be accessible and inspiring, leveraging robust research alongside human storytelling.
As the Head of Digital Communications, you will be essential to achieving our mission. You will join the YEF at an exciting time. We are entering a crucial phase of increasing our policy influence at the top of government, changing things for the better across our sectors — education, youth justice, youth sector, children’s services, policing, health — and mobilising a movement to keep children and young people safe.
Your job is to make sure that the right people are drawn to our website and our digital communications, that they discover and engage with our content — from quoting our data, to using our Toolkit and evidence, to following practical recommendations in our guidance, to watching videos about the latest trends and conversations in violence prevention — and trust what we have to say.
You will support the Director of External Affairs and Youth Understanding to plan, build and execute a digital campaign to make all of this happen. You will help to lead the Communications team to hold the attention of our priority audiences and making them act.
Key Responsibilities
- The core of your job is to ensure that YEF's audience grows rapidly and strategically in size, that people working in our sectors gain awareness and confidence in our brand and that decision-makers engage with our work via our digital channels: our website, social media, newsletters, search, long- and short-form videos and the Safe podcast.
- You will further develop YEF’s existing digital marketing strategy into a national campaign across 2026-2029 for mobilising the evidence to prevent violence affecting children and young people.
- You will provide leadership to YEF generally and the Communications team specifically - managing the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing and Communications Officer – to develop internal collaboration for boosting organisation-wide digital activity, such as call-to-actions via social media and video content.
- You will execute a strategy for moving to a more segmented, sector-specific communication strategy that engages each audience (whether teachers, youth workers, police officers etc.) to use of YEF’s products whether our Toolkit, our Guidance on what works and self-assessment tools for each sector.
- To commission and develop compelling, eye-catching video content that authentically showcases case studies of our work, drives our audiences towards our channels and products and significantly boosts widespread engagement — views, likes, comments and shares — online.
- To help secure and convert high-profile digital communications opportunities for the team in representing YEF’s work, including podcast and video placements.
- To develop and leverage relevant agency relationships, and use data analytics, to optimise our SEO positioning for online searches related to youth violence, advise on investment in paid advertising to drive traffic to our website and products, and generally boost our digital engagement.

- A track record of producing video – such as case studies, explainers or podcasts - to increase positive regard, brand awareness and audience engagement on LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok and X.
You may have the following, but they are not necessary:
- A qualification in digital marketing.
- Past experience of using Salesforce for marketing campaigns.
- Experience of working in or close to one or more of our priority sectors: education, youth justice, youth sector, children’s services, policing and health.
- Knowledge of using Artificial Intelligence to ethically and effectively boost digital performance at an organisation

About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and creative Senior Marketing Officer to join Kinship’s Marketing Team to help us reach more kinship carers with our support offer. You’ll bring strong experience in delivering effective, insight-driven digital marketing campaigns across channels, including social media, email, web, paid advertising and content marketing.
You’ll play a key role in delivering integrated marketing campaigns and promoting our services and programmes – including Department for Education-funded training – to kinship carers, referral partners, and professionals across England and Wales.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll plan and deliver impactful marketing activity, create engaging content, and use data and analytics to optimise performance. You’ll also contribute to shaping our marketing strategy by bringing evidence, creativity and best practice from across the digital landscape. Key responsibilities

Work with the Head of Marketing to develop marketing plans, and have day-to-day oversight of the delivery of these to promote the DfE-funded training and support service to kinship carers, to ensure good take-up of all training events by a diverse range of kinship carers, in line with the programme goals.

Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media - paid and organic, email, SMS, etc.), monitoring and optimising campaigns for greatest impact and testing new approaches.

Produce and oversee content creation for marketing plans and campaigns, delivering high-quality, insight-led and engaging marketing content for different audiences and/or channels, including case studies, blog posts, leaflets, videos, and social media assets.

Plan and deliver creative and innovative paid ads campaigns across Meta, reviewing and optimising throughout, ensuring robust reporting is in place and using analytics and insights to inform future campaigns.

Help embed a new email marketing platform to support the delivery of our email marketing strategy, including segmentation, automated journeys testing and reporting.

Support the delivery of marketing strategies and activities to grow brand awareness and increase engagement with kinship carers and other key audiences.

With the Head of Marketing, work with services teams to understand our target audience, and identify opportunities to integrate Kinship’s holistic support offer - including our peer support service and website advice content/ Kinship Compass - into training marketing activity where appropriate.

Track KPIs and produce regular monitoring reports on marketing performance across channels and, with support from the Head of Marketing, adjust campaigns and plans to optimise impact and make recommendations for future testing.

Manage and prioritise incoming requests from the organisational briefing process for services marketing support, including producing collateral templates in line with brand guidelines, working closely and collaboratively with comms and digital teams.

Purpose of the job
This role is responsible for the design of UK Youth’s support to young people, youth organisations and youth workers. This could include structured youth work programmes, funding and grants+ programmes, professional development initiatives, and campaigns.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. We have been working in Nepal for over 50 years, delivering essential financial and medical aid to Gurkha veterans and widows, and working with local communities to provide access to clean water and education. This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Develop and implement the Trust’s Individual Giving acquisition strategy across regular giving, one‑off donors, mid‑value supporters, and legacy pledgers, in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising & Communications.
2. Lead the planning and management of the annual acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure forecasts are accurate and regularly monitored.
3. Deliver integrated, supporter‑focused campaigns across direct mail, TV, door‑drop, inserts, press, telephone fundraising, and digital channels, ensuring activity meets agreed targets, deadlines, and quality standards.
4. Work with the Database Manager and external partners to ensure accurate data selection, segmentation, and fulfilment for all campaigns.
5. Monitor donor behaviour and key performance indicators, including attrition, response rates, and ROI, and develop strategies to enhance retention and reactivate lapsed supporters.
6. Collaborate with creative and fundraising agencies to test, refine, and optimise campaign content, propositions, and targeting.
7. Ensure the highest standard of donor care, working closely with the Individual Giving (Stewardship & Retention) Manager, Database Manager, and fulfilment providers to deliver a consistent and positive supporter experience.
8. Strengthen the regular‑giving acquisition proposition, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating donor attrition.
9. Maximise Gift Aid income by ensuring all acquisition activity includes appropriate prompts and compliance measures.

The Belgrade theatre has big growth plans with a vibrant programme; we are proud of our reputation for excellent stewardship and donor care. We are a National Portfolio Organisation, funded by Arts Council England, and enjoy the support of many individuals, trust and foundations and corporate supporters. We are now looking for an ambitious, creative, and energetic fundraiser to help take us into our next chapter. You might be an experienced Development leader or someone looking to take that next step, or perhaps this could be a lateral move from another related sector. We are open to discussing flexible working patterns, and you will be able to shape the role around your particular skills and experience.
You will have the full support of the CEO, senior team and Board of Trustees, and we will work with you to ensure you continue to develop in your professional practice. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that your work is making a real difference in supporting the Belgrade Theatre realise its Story of Change and continue to build on our co-creation model of developing theatre by and with the people of Coventry.
You will be joining us at an exciting time whilst we build the production of our new co-created show Nanny of the Maroons, and your skills and expertise in fundraising and income-generation activity, will support us to launch this production in a way that can have real impact for the people of Coventry; whilst shaping a sustainable future for the organisation, and achieving an annual revenue funding target of £450K.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering fundraising activity, supporting income generation through campaigns, events, partnerships and donor stewardship. You will build meaningful relationships with donors, partners, and funders, working on strategies that support artistic ambition, creative learning and community engagement programmes, and long-term organisational growth.
This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive and confident in delivering fundraising activity, and who can bring practical ideas that connect with Coventry’s diverse communities.
Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Director of Audiences and Growth, CEO, Artistic Director and Director of Producing and Co-creation. This role will line manage the Development Officer and oversee freelance bid writers. This role needs to have constructive relationships with all departments within the business including working closely with the audiences, marketing and communications team and colleagues across Box Office, Finance and Front of House. You will deliver a programme of fundraising activity including memberships, small, mid-scale and larger trusts and foundations, community fundraising, sponsorship and local business partnerships.
External: Trusts and Foundations, Donors, High Net worth individuals, Members, Individual Giving, Stakeholders, Volunteers and Business Networks
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational priorities
- Lead on income diversification across individual giving/membership, major gifts, legacies, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, campaigns and events
- Set and monitor annual income targets with clear KPIs and reporting structure
Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation
- Develop and deliver audience-focused fundraising campaigns that support theatre programming, community engagement and audience development.
- Identify and implement practical income opportunities, such as round-up donations, maximising Gift Aid and testing messaging at key audience touchpoints.
Events & Community Fundraising
- Plan, promote and deliver fundraising events including donor evenings and follow up donor cultivation, community fundraising activities and donor profile events
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers to ensure events are well organised and provide a positive supporter experience.
Trusts, Memberships & Partnerships
- Research, write and submit applications to small, mid-scale and large trusts and foundations aligned with The Belgrade’s artistic, co-creation, educational and community activity to ensure we meet our target of 10% of turnover against fundraising activity
- Review and refresh The Belgrade’s s membership schemes, sponsorship offers and local business fundraising opportunities.
- Develop proposals to support income from individuals, trusts and community partners.
- Establish and Develop a Legacy programme with the associated campaign
Donor Stewardship & Supporter Care
- Support and steward donors, members and supporters through appropriate communication, recognition and reporting.
- Ensure donor recognition is accurate and visible across digital, print and in-venue materials.
- Experience of managing a varied pipeline of fundraising prospects, including identification of key internal and external milestones
Digital Fundraising & Communications
- Work with the Marketing team to create fundraising content for email, web and social media.
- Use storytelling to promote THE BELGRADE ’s charitable activity and encourage supporter engagement.
Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate donor records.
- Track fundraising income and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all fundraising activity complies with GDPR, Gift Aid requirements and Fundraising Regulator guidance.
Planning, Collaboration & Good Practice
- Contribute to the delivery of agreed annual fundraising plans, supporting our Audiences and Marketing team by tracking activity and progress against targets.
- Stay informed about THE BELGRADE ’s artistic programme and community work, working with colleagues across departments to support clear and relevant case for support.
- Build and maintain networks with fundraising colleagues in the arts and charity sectors, sharing learning and good practice with THE BELGRADE particularly at a local and regional level
- Contribute positively to THE BELGRADE ’s inclusive, collaborative and community-focused culture, supporting volunteers involved in fundraising activity where appropriate.
- Set company wide strategies to maximise individual giving around our Making Memories campaign for Pantomime and our Stage for All campaign that supports co-creation.
General
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve efficiency and fundraising potential.
- Maintain a strong applicable knowledge of the theatre’s programme, strategy and business plan.
- Attend staff meetings / training as required.
- Adhere to policies and procedures and act as an ambassador for best practice.

The postholder will be required to work from the theatre in Coventry, although some flexibility for occasional working from home is available subject to the needs of the business. This role may require working weekends and evenings for attendance at Guest Nights and Stakeholder Events etc. from time to time for which time off can be taken in lieu.
