Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and alongside the Strategic Partnerships and Trusts teams, you will be responsible for setting clear plans, developing effective fundraising approaches, and ensuring strong systems, processes and supporter experiences are in place to drive sustainable income growth.
You will lead the delivery and development of community fundraising, challenge events, individual giving through community activity, and in-memory fundraising. A key part of the role will be developing a clear and engaging events and fundraising volunteer offer, including an effective induction process that enables volunteers to fundraise confidently on behalf of Bipolar UK.
This role requires a thoughtful, organised and people-centred manager who understands how to balance ambition with compassion in a mental health charity context.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic leadership and planning
- Develop and deliver a clear community and events fundraising strategy aligned with Bipolar UK’s wider fundraising and organisational goals.
- Translate strategy into achievable annual plans, income targets and team objectives.
- Use insight, data and evaluation to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Work with the Director of Fundraising to forecast income, manage risk and maximise return on investment.
2. Community and events fundraising delivery
- Lead the planning, delivery and growth of a portfolio of community fundraising initiatives and challenge events, both in person and online.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality supporter experience across all community and events activity.
- Oversee web content and digital resources to support community and event fundraising
- Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities that align with Bipolar UK’s mission, values and supporter base.
- Act as an ambassador for Bipolar UK at key events when required.
3. Volunteer fundraising offer
- Develop a clear, accessible and motivating events and community fundraising volunteer offer.
- Design and implement an effective volunteer induction process, ensuring fundraisers feel confident, supported and well-equipped.
- Work with colleagues to ensure volunteer fundraising activity is aligned with safeguarding, wellbeing and organisational policies.
4. Digital campaigns and income growth
- Lead on the planning and delivery of digital-led community and events fundraising campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications colleagues to develop supporter journeys, content and communications that drive engagement and income.
- Develop approaches to grow connected income streams, including regular giving and in-memory giving, through community and digital activity.
- Monitor performance, assess impact and report clearly on outcomes and learning.
5. Supporter experience and stewardship
- Ensure supporters are stewarded with care, empathy and professionalism, recognising the personal connection many have to bipolar.
- Oversee thanking, updating and re-engagement activity to build long-term supporter relationships.
- Ensure accurate and compliant use of the CRM and fundraising data.
6. Team leadership and organisational contribution
- Line-manage and support the Fundraising Officer and Supporter Engagement Assistant, providing clear direction, coaching and development.
- Create a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture focused on impact and learning.
- Oversee income and expenditure for the community and events portfolio, monitoring budgets and performance against targets.
- Contribute to organisational planning, cross-team working and the development of efficient systems and processes.
- Evaluate performance and produce insight-led reports to support decision-making and improvement.

Essential Criteria
- Significant experience managing community and/or events fundraising, with a track record of achieving income and engagement targets.
- Experience of line-managing staff and leading a small team to deliver effectively.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience translating strategy into delivery plans.
- Experience of managing budgets and reporting on performance and impact.
- Demonstrable experience of digital fundraising and use of online fundraising platforms.
- Experience working with volunteers or community fundraisers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Confidence using CRM systems and fundraising data.
- Knowledge of the UK charity sector, GDPR and fundraising best practice.

MAIN PURPOSE:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fundraising Manager to lead and grow a diverse income portfolio across multiple fundraising disciplines.
This is a leadership role responsible for contributing to and delivering a national fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s organisational priorities, financial sustainability goals, and growth ambitions.
The postholder will manage and develop a small fundraising team, embed high-performance standards, and drive income generation across statutory trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, events, and individual giving.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Contribute to, develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy to achieve sustainable income growth.
- Set and manage annual income targets exceeding £500k to £1m.
- Identify new income streams aligned to Brainkind’s service model and expansion priorities.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align fundraising with operational and strategic objectives.
Income Generation (All Disciplines)
Lead and oversee income generation across:
- Trusts & Foundations – Develop compelling proposals for health, social care and rehabilitation funding.
- Corporate Partnerships – Secure and manage mutually beneficial local partnerships.
- Community & Events Fundraising – Grow supporter-led activity nationally.
- Individual Giving & Digital Campaigns – Strengthen acquisition, retention and legacy programmes.
- Statutory & Health Sector Funding (where applicable outside commissioned services).
Team Management
- Line manage, coach and develop a small fundraising team.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Set KPIs and ensure strong pipeline management and reporting.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Act as an ambassador for Brainkind externally.
- Build strong internal relationships with operations, clinical teams, finance, and communications to gather impact data and case studies.

Governance & Compliance

ABOUT YOU:
- Knowledge of a broad range of fundraising and charity sector activities.
- Knowledge of legal obligations for fundraising activities and all internal procedures and regulations and adherence to best practices, as defined by the organisation and Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice & Fundraising Regulator

This role is an integral part of the Community Fundraising team, providing support to people raising funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and being the first point of contact for enquiries. Dealing directly with supporters, the role requires an effective communicator and proactive individual who is passionate about fundraising. The role will also support the Community Fundraising Manager and Senior Community Fundraising Executive with the stewardship of high value community fundraisers.

An international charity supporting people working at sea is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to lead a step-change in how individual fundraising is planned, delivered and grown.
Individual giving is already generating around £450k per year, with clear ambition to increase this by £100k per year over the next two years. About the role
Supporting the delivery of Zoe’s Place overall income generation strategy, by developing a portfolio of corporate supporters at Zoe’s Place Coventry to deliver long term sustainable income growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Account manage corporate relationships
- Account manage newly established and existing corporate relationships, ensuring that each one is appropriately supported and is reaching its full potential, through charity of the year partnerships, sponsorship, staff fundraising, payroll giving and event participation.
- Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure corporate fundraising offering is consistent across all relationships.
- Plan and execute events to steward current supporters.
- Meet and exceed agreed fundraising targets for corporate supporters at Zoe’s Place Coventry.

Role Summary
The Programme Officer UK will be instrumental in providing administrative support for the successful delivery of our three programme strands across the UK. Reporting to the Joint Head of Programmes (Nations Lead), this role ensures the smooth and efficient running of projects by managing key organisational tasks, providing high quality customer service and supporting specific activities including data driven targeted work. Main Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the delivery of cross-programme activity in all four nations, including training for teachers and careers professionals, workshops, conferences and events.

- Oversee and support the management and maintenance of the CRM database of nations’ place-based activity across the UK, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.

Job description
We are looking for an exceptional individual who can work with and motivate volunteers, take a strategic view on issues affecting the Hertfordshire countryside and represent CPRE Hertfordshire at events and through media. The role also involves management of a small staff team, the oversight of our Governance including finances, reporting, budget, fundraising, communications and volunteer management.
This is an exciting time to join CPRE Hertfordshire, as the candidate will be able to build and influence the new long-term strategy and annual plan with our Board of Trustees in advance of 2027.
The Chief Executive is responsible for:
1. Contributing to and driving the implementation of CPRE Hertfordshire’s strategy.
2. Delivering effective and efficient operational performance of the charity including robust contingency arrangements.
3. Providing exceptional leadership and management of the team – both paid staff and volunteers – and further growing our volunteer cadre.
4. Delivering the marketing and communications strategy, including membership acquisition and retention communications, email and social media marketing.
5. Leading and managing local Branch campaigns and projects as agreed by the Board of Trustees.
6. Devising and overseeing activities to increase recruitment of new CPRE members.
7. Devising fundraising activities in line with agreed targets in collaboration with the Board of Trustees.
8. Overseeing our planning activities, including interaction with those in national and local government roles and community groups, and ensuring the charity keeps up to date with current national and local planning policy.
9. Attending regular meetings with national CPRE and other county branches to share knowledge, formulate “one CPRE” policy positions, and participate in national campaigns.
10. Ensure that the annual operating budget is met and continually look for cost savings across all lines of expenditure.
11. Ensuring that all risk factors faced by the charity in undertaking its activities are clearly understood and mitigated as appropriate.
12. Ensuring the charity keeps up to date with appropriate external best practices and maintains compliance with relevant charity commission and other regulations such as HSE and GDPR.

· Assess and process all bursary applications, including Slater Scholarships, Worcester, Hanway and Green Skills bursaries against clearly defined eligibility criteria

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Major Gifts & Individual Giving Lead to join our fundraising team.
This role leads the operational development of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland’s Major Gifts, Individual Giving and Legacy programmes, and support in the development of Trust & Foundation applications.
As a new area of focus for the organisation, the postholder will be responsible for designing, launching and growing a full supporter journey for individual donors—from regular giving through to mid‑value, major gifts and Legacy giving. They will build and manage a strong pipeline of donors and prospects, cultivating long‑term philanthropic support for the charity.
The role also carries responsibility for developing strategic corporate partnerships with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) alignment, and values‑led partnerships that deliver sustainable mutual benefit.
They will drive the charity’s communications and supporter experience. Location: We are a UK-based business with an office in the Old Street area of London, accessible via a number of public transport links. Colleagues typically spend 40% - 60% of their working hours in the office, and the remainder from home. However, the exact requirements for this role can be discussed at interview.
