About the Role:
The Fundraising Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in building relationships, boosting community participation, and supporting fundraising initiatives for Kids Operating Room.
This position will concentrate on outreach, donor reporting, event coordination, and partnership growth across sectors, including universities, civic organisations, schools, and community groups.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Centre for Global Operations (CfGO) Tours & Visitor Engagement
· Act as the primary host for CfGO tours, ensuring they are engaging and aligned with fundraising objectives.
· Manage tour logistics, including bookings, team and material preparation, and visitor follow-up, to include companies.
Community Fundraising & Engagement
· Respond to inbound community fundraising enquiries and provide stewardship to supporters.
· Develop fundraising packs, storytelling materials, and social media assets.
· Develop outreach for community events and fundraising initiatives.
· Build and maintain regional relationships with clubs, organisations, and faith groups.
· Track community fundraising pipeline and assist with income forecasting.
Universities & Student Engagement

Schools Outreach
· Organise & deliver assemblies and classroom talks to inspire student involvement.

Trusts & Foundations Research Support
· Update and expand research lists for trusts and foundations.
· Conduct initial prospect research and draft letters of intent or applications.

Event Support
· Assist with KidsOR events, including breakfasts, civic engagements, and CfGO visits.

To support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of management accounts, statutory financial statements, and budget monitoring. The postholder will take full ownership of the charity’s purchase ledger function and banking operations, ensuring robust financial controls and strong supplier and banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly management accounts production.
- Lead on the purchase ledger function, including processing, reconciling, and maintaining supplier accounts.

Main Duties
- Develop and implement the global philanthropy strategy as part of the overall fundraising strategy, liaising with senior leadership, programme leads, communications and finance to ensure ClientEarth can maximise the potential income from major donors.
- Develop, implement and achieve relevant KPIs and financial targets for the philanthropy team and lead on the production of appropriate reports for senior management and the board of trustees.

Anticipated Consultancy Length: Four Months
Overall objective
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide maternity cover services for a period of four months (01 April-31 July 2026) for the Project Officer, Inclusive Eye Health Project. The Project Officer leads and coordinates the implementation of Inclusive Eye Health (IEH) programmes in Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe. The role is designed to ensure effective collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Care, Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality eye health services in the province. Since the project is implemented in all the 7 districts of Matabeleland North Province, it is practical to have this person based in a satellite office in Bulawayo for easy coordination of stakeholders and project activities.
The Project Officer is responsible for managing daily operations, monitoring and evaluating project outcomes, supporting capacity building, and contributing to research and innovation. Ultimately, the position aims to enhance the impact and quality of Sightsavers’ programmes through strategic coordination, partnership management, and continuous improvement.
Principal Accountabilities (specific activities and end results):
Project coordination
- Support all Sightsavers supported eye health activities by providing effective management and coordination to the project to ensure the delivery of set targets.
- Coordinate all OPD related activities as part of IEH project through working with different OPD groups to ensure adherence to workplans and budget for the achievement of planned project outputs.
- Coordinate capacity building initiatives for health workers and OPDs
- Support partner teams and OPDs groups to identify and develop innovative approaches for the delivery of an inclusive eye health project in the Matabeleland North
- Coordinate the preparation of activity related reports as well as quarterly and annual reports to Sightsavers / donors as may be required.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Support the Snr Programme Officer in monitoring project implementation in the province. Conduct quarterly project visits and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Provide support to OPD groups and steering committee during targeted outreach activities and monitoring visits to project facilities.
- Support in reviewing the evidence provided by partners for the delivery of activities and ensure proper reporting system and records are kept in place.
- The position will be responsible for guiding the overall Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Strategy and use of M&E methodology necessary for attaining the project goals.
- Monitor project expenditure to ensure that it is in line with the budget envelope and value for money is observed.
Representation and Networking
- Represent the Programme Manager at various meetings and discussions at relevant government Ministries and other agencies.
Research
- Coordinate the design and conduct of patient satisfaction studies to assess the quality of services provided at project facilities.
Budget and payment schedule
- It is estimated this consultancy will take in full 4 months of consultancy time.
- A total fee of USD 2,500 per month (USD$10,000) as stipulated above will be invoiced to the Client by the Consultant upon signing this agreement whereby 100% of the total claim will be paid by the 25th of each month, subject to deliverables being met.
- Withholding tax of 30% shall be charged if a valid tax clearance is not presented at the time of payment.
- Other activity charges including venue, travel to and from the hotels to activity venues, accommodation and meals will be covered by Sightsavers.

Minimal qualifications for a Lead Consultant/ Team Members
Qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related disciplines (post-graduate degree will be an advantage).
- Extensive experience in programme/project management, ideally in an INGO setting.
- Technical knowledge of Eye Health in Zimbabwe
- Understanding of Disability Inclusive Development
- Experience in working with OPDs groups will be an added advantage.

The heart of our operation is on a remote and beautiful 766-acre island. In 2026 we will become a Scottish charity - The Tanera Project – with core purposes spanning rural regeneration, resilience building in our public services via the provision of respite breaks, and ecosystem restoration.
We are looking for a Team Lead to take on the coordination of our Land and Estates Team across our island and mainland properties, totalling 6,500 acres of grounds, in-bye land, woodland and hill. The team has a wide remit, including grasskeeping, landscaping, regenerative agriculture on a crofting-scale, livestock, stalking, fishing, horses, guest activities, and supporting our gardens, ecology and path teams with extra hands when needed. The team is five strong, supported by seasonal hands, volunteers and staff from other teams working multifunctionally.
Our land management approach balances production, nature, and heritage, with an emphasis on using the land to build communities. We share everything we do with guests and volunteers so planning for and delivering shared activities is a core part of the role. We deliver our activities with an impeccable aesthetic centred round heritage, industry and creativity, requiring a real eye for detail. The Land and Estates Team covers several core functions in the charity and has a diverse remit with competing priorities so this role will appeal to proven leaders, able to deliver both on the ground and in terms of planning and organisation. Regeneration
We are looking for an excellent coordinator with demonstrable experience in leading a team with a wide remit and proficiency in at least two of the team focus areas: grounds-keeping, agriculture, estate work, horses and working with guests and volunteers in an outdoor environment. The right candidate will be an experienced, creative, resourceful and flexible professional. They will have an interest in landscape scale regeneration that is attentive to heritage, productivity (food and more) and ecosystems. Our team comes from across the country and further afield. We have our own growing island community of staff, guests and volunteers, while also being embedded in mainland life in nearby crofting townships and villages. The Patrons Manager will be responsible for both Individual and Corporate Patron relationships from prospecting to renewal, managing recruitment, stewardship and overseeing excellence in customer service via the Patrons Box Office. This is a strategic role, with responsibility for managing and growing the Patrons Scheme, ensuring members make the most of their Patron membership to achieve maximum renewal and upgrade rates.
Our ideal candidate will be results driven, with a pro-active, can-do attitude that is role modelled in the small team of reports and more widely across the Department. You will be solutions focused with experience of taking accountability for improvements and resolutions. You will be able to lead and develop a small team, manage a busy workload with high output and productivity and demonstrate highly effective influencing skills.
You will have:
- Experience of working in a membership organisation and/or with high-net-worth individuals in a philanthropic environment. Experience in a box office/ticketing environment is also highly desirable.
- Experience of working in revenue growth environments, with an aptitude for working toward KPIs.
- A firm understanding of Gift Aid and other charitable legislation and laws.
- Demonstrable experience leading on relationship management (including face to face) within a Patrons or Philanthropy scheme or similar
- Experience identifying new initiatives and ways to enhance Patron experience, with experience delivering in a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
- Developed communication and rapport building skills; able to tailor communications effectively and quicky forge strong relationships, both internally and externally
An understanding and knowledge of the art forms is not essential but the ability to learn and communicate effectively and persuasively about opera, ballet, music and dance to Patrons is critical for this role.

The Role
We are looking for an Evaluation & Research Officer to join our Data and Impact team at STEM Learning. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our programmes and projects are evaluated effectively, realistically, and in line with best practice, enabling us to demonstrate impact and continuously improve our offer.
Working closely with programme management colleagues, you will design and implement evaluations, ensuring relevant data is collected, analysed and interpreted. You will produce clear, high-quality outputs for both internal and external audiences, supporting learning, accountability, and impact reporting.
You will also contribute to external evaluations, liaising with external evaluators where required, and help embed evidence-informed practice across the organisation. A key part of the role is sourcing, reviewing and synthesising external research and sector evidence to strengthen STEM Learning’s evaluation approaches, findings and impact claims.

The Legal Office is the in-house provider of legal services to the national policy-making and governance institutions of the Church of England (the National Church Institutions, "NCIs"), which are some of the largest charities in the UK (including statutory corporations and a Royal Charter corporation), the largest of which are the Archbishops' Council, a national policy and strategic decision-making body, the Church Commissioners, a substantial endowment fund with assets valued at £11.1bn (2024) which has positioned itself at the forefront of Responsible Investment and which supports the mission of the Church, and the Church of England Pensions Board which stewards a £3.4bn fund. The Legal Office also advises the General Synod, which is a legislative assembly which makes primary and secondary legislation subject to the approval of Parliament.

About the role
As a member of the Legal Office Advisory Team, you will be providing legal services to the National Institutions of the Church of England, focused on giving legal advice across a diverse and interesting range of subjects which bear on the operations of the Church Commissioners and other parts of the national Church of England.

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia.
We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.

About the Role
