We’re looking for compassionate, resilient and clinically confident Psychological Therapists to join our growing Crisis Line team.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the frontline of crisis care supporting people through some of their most difficult moments and helping them find a path forward.

About the role

As a Psychological Therapist (Crisis Line), you will respond to individuals in high-risk and emotionally intense situations, providing calm, focused and compassionate support. You will use evidence-based approaches such as safety planning, grounding techniques, active listening and structured risk assessment to support people through crisis.

• Provide immediate crisis response and short-term psychological interventions
• Assess and respond to suicide risk, safeguarding concerns and escalating needs
• Develop collaborative safety plans with service users
• Deliver support through phone, online chat and digital platforms
• Maintain accurate records and follow service protocols
• Engage in clinical supervision, debriefs, reflective practice and CPD

About you

You will have a Level 4 Diploma, or equivalent, in counselling or psychotherapy and be a registered member of a relevant professional body such as BACP, BABCP or UKCP. You will bring experience of supporting people in emotional distress or crisis, alongside strong skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and brief psychological intervention.

We are particularly interested in people who can remain calm and effective under pressure, communicate with compassion and clarity, and work confidently within structured protocols in a remote, shift-based service. Experience in crisis helplines, acute mental health settings, emergency services, suicide prevention or digital service delivery would be an advantage.

Working arrangements

This is a fully remote, UK-based role delivered through a rotational shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and nights. The role involves regular exposure to high-risk and emotionally intense situations, with supervision, in-shift support and reflective practice available to support safe and effective working.

You will join a newly established Advocacy and Advice Service supporting children, young people and their families to navigate education, health and benefits systems.

Families often face unclear pathways, complex processes and inconsistent information.  Your role is to bring clarity, structure and confidence at key moments.

As Head of Finance, you’ll lead the finance function, helping to deliver Royal Collection’s strategy by ensuring the highest standards of financial control, reporting and strategic support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the Royal Collection Trust finance team, you’ll oversee the delivery of a full range of financial and management accounting services.

Essential Criteria

• A qualified accountant (CCAB), you bring strong technical expertise across financial reporting, audit and accounting standards, including FRS102 and the Charities SORP.
• With significant experience in financial leadership roles, you’re confident overseeing the budgeting cycle, forecasts and management reporting in a complex organisation.
• You’re an excellent communicator, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insight.
• You’ll have a strong understanding of VAT and corporation tax, alongside experience in financial modelling, advanced excel skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exposure to finance transformation or systems implementation projects would also be beneficial.

The ISM is now looking for a highly experienced Administrator and Secretary to work alongside the Chief Executive. You will have very strong administrative skills as well as advanced knowledge of using Microsoft office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You must have experience of ensuring good governance at Board level including  preparing Board papers and drafting and circulating Board minutes. This is a critical part of the role as well as drafting a wide variety of correspondence.

You will also be responsible for aspects of risk management such as health and safety. The Chief Executive is a senior leader in the music sector so you will need to be able to demonstrate absolute loyalty, discretion and confidentiality as well as excellent common sense and good judgement.

Overall Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the generation of vital community raised income to support the running costs of the Branch’s Animal Care and Rehoming services, while also developing, leading and delivering a branch-wide commercially viable, inclusive and comprehensive volunteering programme.
This is a revenue-generating management role within the charity. The effectiveness and success of the postholder will be measured against agreed financial performance, income generation, and impact KPIs, alongside people, welfare and operational outcomes.

You'll have responsibility for buying key categories including children's toys and furniture for our store estate. Your role will include range building and planning across core and seasonal ranges, generating sales in excess of £2m per year. Working closely with the merchandising team, you will take new ranges from planning to launch, react to in-season trade, and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. This is a key role which would suit someone with buying experience within the toy trade.

OVERVIEW OF THE POST

Groundwork Greater Manchester is an environmental and social regeneration charity, and member of the national Federation of Groundwork Trusts, working through partnerships to deliver a greener more resilient city region with stronger, healthier communities, responsible businesses and enhanced prospects for all local people.

You will join the Homes Team and assist the Water Efficiency Lead in the delivery of Water Efficiency projects. The team deliver Water Efficiency audits across the Northwest to businesses and schools. Audits include behaviour change, Water Literacy Awareness, providing and installing water efficiency devices, identifying and fixing water leaks, and promoting and facilitating rain water harvesting and sustainable drainage solutions to reduce water consumption.

You will be required to develop good working relationships with project partners and colleagues and liaise with other members of Groundwork staff delivering similar or complementary services.

You will generate and respond to referrals and be responsible for providing effective support and customer service. Both advisory and practical, to enable people to make positive changes to their behaviour and to improve the quality of their lives through water savings. You will attend relevant team meetings/training to raise awareness of the programme and to develop/improve skills.

ROLE & MAIN PURPOSES OF THE POST

· Assist the Water Efficiency Lead to deliver commercial and domestic water audits across the North West of England by being responsible for responding to referrals, making bookings and customer service and engagement.

· Identify and engage key stakeholders who are able to help Groundwork access opportunities to deliver the service.

The role of the Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer - Devolved Nations is vital to achieving our UK-wide advocacy mission: to reduce health inequalities in type 1 diabetes, to widen access to type 1 diabetes treatments and technologies and to ensure that people with type 1 get access to emerging new treatments and future cures in the devolved nations.  

You will lead on projects with key stakeholders and high-level Parliamentarians, such as our access to treatments and early detection work, as well as people with type 1 diabetes, policy makers and researchers. You will help to deliver Breakthrough T1D’s influencing plans, improving access to and choice of type 1 diabetes treatments and technology in the devolved nations.  

Experience required 

• Experience of working successfully with politicians, their offices, Government departments, and other public affairs stakeholders to influence policy and to influence public/stakeholder discourse across the devolved nations

• Experience of leading public affairs delivery in at least one (preferably all) of the devolved nations 

• Experience in analysing Government policy in-depth and creating policy briefings  

• Experience of drafting briefings, reports and policy submissions   

• Experience of communicating across a range of parliamentary and professional stakeholders at all levels   

• Demonstrable knowledge, interest and experience of working in a public affairs and policy-based environment 

• Experience of organising stakeholder events

You'll:

• Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, agendas, papers and follow-up actions.

• Keep research documentation accurate, organised and up to date.

About you

You'll probably have around three to four years' experience in an administrative, research or project support role and be confident juggling multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

You'll also bring:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience supporting meetings and coordinating projects.
• Confidence managing budgets, invoices and payments.
