About the role:
Recovery looks different for everyone, and meaningful opportunities can be a powerful part of helping people move forward. You’ll use a strengths based and trauma-informed approach, adapting what you offer to respond to people’s interests, goals and experiences.
You’ll also look beyond our services to create more opportunities for clients. Building strong relationships with community organisations, statutory services, specialist agencies and lived experience networks, you’ll help connect people with the resources, activities and support available around them. Alongside this, you’ll champion co-production, support colleagues, volunteers and peers to get involved in delivering the programme, and help make recovery and social inclusion a visible part of everyday service delivery.
At Single Homeless Project (SHP), you’ll be encouraged to keep developing your own practice too. Through training, supervision and reflective practice, you’ll have opportunities to deepen your knowledge of recovery, trauma-informed approaches and group work, while playing an active part in shaping how we support people experiencing multiple disadvantage.
About you:
- You have experience developing, coordinating and facilitating groups and activities, with a good understanding of group dynamics and how to support others to deliver them confidently and effectively.
- You’re creative, enthusiastic and proactive, with the confidence to turn ideas into meaningful opportunities and encourage clients, colleagues, volunteers and peers to get involved.
- You’re confident building positive working relationships and partnerships with a range of internal and external services, helping to open up new opportunities for the people we support.
- You understand how to engage, motivate and inspire people experiencing multiple disadvantage, including the barriers that can make participation more difficult, and can create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- You’re committed to inclusive practice, creating environments where people from different backgrounds feel respected and able to participate, while maintaining clear and appropriate professional boundaries.
About us:
We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.
In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We’re rolling up our sleeves to make change and helping over 10,000 Londoners every year. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.
We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. We stand alongside people as they rebuild and shape a future that feels their own.
Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other. You’ll work alongside colleagues with lived experience, in a space that’s trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively striving to be anti-oppressive and equitable.

RISE strives for a world where people can lead safe, purposeful lives as a result of better relationships within families and communities; where harmful behaviour is marginalised and fewer people, are victims of crime. About us
The Alliance for Youth Justice is an alliance of more than 70 non-profit organisations advocating with and for children to drive positive change in youth justice across England and Wales. We mobilise our members’ frontline expertise, children’s lived experience, and evidence from research to champion a child-centred, rights-based and trauma-informed system that treats contact with the justice system as a sign of unmet need and systemic failure, prioritises support over criminalisation and gives every child the opportunity to thrive.
We're widely recognised as the most influential group campaigning for improvements to the system, with trusted access to decision makers, working towards three goals: keeping children safe from the youth justice system through prevention and diversion; racial justice across the system; and custody as a last resort for children.
About the role
Following the launch of our new strategic approach, our Operations and Membership Lead will provide the operational, financial and administrative backbone of the organisation — keeping our finances and governance on track, and coordinating our network of over 70 member organisations.

Anti-racist, anti-oppressive practice runs through how we work with our Board, staff, members and stakeholders.
About you
You have experience in an operations, finance or administrative coordination role within a non-profit or membership organisation, including managing the full financial cycle within a charity and a working knowledge of charity fund accounting.
