In April 2021 we launched the GM Navigators project to support young people impacted by youth violence. In response to feedback from parents and carers, the PACS project was set up in 2023 to assist Parents and Carers identifying their child as ‘at risk’. Since this the service has gone from strength to strength with Parents and Carers engaging from all 10 GM boroughs. We have securing funding to continue this project until 2027 with potential for further extensions.
Oasis is recruiting a PAC Support Worker to be part of the PAC Project.
As a PAC Support Worker you will;
· Support parent and carers that identify their child is “at risk” offering them advice and guidance, practical support and linking them in with services/groups that will provide them with a sustainable support network.
· Help parents and carers to develop projects to raise awareness of the issues they are facing, offering peer support and influence policy and system change.
· Be trained in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) and other parenting approaches to support parents and carers to respond to their children’s needs, de-escalate situations and maintain good relationships within their home.
· Delivering our ‘Encounter’ Parenting Training (based on the principles of NVR) online and in-person to groups of parents and host online and in-person support groups for parents and carers.
· Be integral to the shaping and development of the PAC project utilizing the feedback of those you are working with to ensure the project is impactful and meeting parent’s and carers needs as a priority.

Amongst other requirements, the successful post holder must have:

We provide a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol. Our skilled and compassionate team work closely with people who use our services to change and save lives. You will be based in our psychosocial team working with adult males (over 18 years old). You will be responsible for delivering a range of elements of our substance use work including case management, assessments, care planning, the delivery of one-to-one interventions to include harm reduction and motivational work, group work, and engagement support as well as other associated duties. You need to be committed to supporting people who use our services to make positive changes to prepare them for release into the community, and you will arrange continuity of care. You will work in collaboration with the clinical team and integrated working is a key element of this role. You will work within the prison setting and contribute towards the wider prison drug strategy.
Having experience of supporting people with complex health needs including substance use, you will bring knowledge and commitment to deliver drug and alcohol treatment. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and a desire to support the lives of people who use our services to be healthier and safer by delivering a high-quality service.
Experience of working with drug and alcohol use is essential. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently and be comfortable and enthusiastic, both with the highlighted client group and working in partnership with other service providers. Previous experience or knowledge of working with individuals on opiate replacement treatment, and/or involved in the criminal justice system will be advantageous.

The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.
The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of the challenges young people within our target groups face, to assist them when they arrive in our Centre. In this role no two days are the same, you get to be involved with many different functions of the Trust and interact with everyone who works in the Centre, this is why planning and organisation skills are a must.

Contract: Part-time, 22.5 hours, 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), Permanent
Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week expected in our London Office. Those living outside the M25 can opt to not receive London Office Allowance and agree a more flexible office attendance pattern at offer stage.

The Delivery Coordinator on the Approach Social Work Programme, organises the programme logistics, meetings, panels and events on behalf of the region. This includes the procurement of Teaching Day venues, liaising with other teams to ensure the smooth running of events and note-taking in meetings and panels while acting as a point of call for the team and participants.
The Delivery Coordinator is crucial to supporting the work of the wider team by supporting colleagues to ensure the efficient use of resources and scheduling that achieves the smooth Delivery of the Approach Social Work Programme.
The role requires someone who is skilled at building positive relationships with people in addition to being highly organised and the ability to manage multiple areas of work and use initiative to resolve issues. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is also essential.

About the Role
As the External Affairs and Strategy Specialist, you will help shape Waythrough’s external influence, ensuring the organisation understands and responds to an increasingly complex political, policy and social environment. Working closely with senior leaders, you will support strategic decision-making, build key partnerships and drive campaigns and policy projects that create positive change for the people we support.
This is a home-based role with some travel required, including attendance at our joint All Party Parliamentary Group (five or six times per year), and service visits, team away days and wider meetings as required. . You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Communications team, to ensure our external voice is informed, impactful and rooted in lived experience.
