The Woodland Trust is looking for a Senior Marketing and Communications Executive to help plan, develop, coordinate and deliver effective multi-channel, audience led marketing communications. This role sits with the Comms Planning & Insight team and has a focus on supporting the recruitment of and communication with legacy pledgers, major donors, high donors, and the establishment of the in-memory strategy.
The Role:
• Manage multi-channel marketing activities, using audience segmentation/approach.
• Progress communications from brief to sign off, distribution and subsequent reporting.
• Develop briefs that meet marketing objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships such as internal colleagues, agencies and suppliers.
• Identify improvement to ways of working, systems, processes and sourcing efficiencies and implement outcomes successfully.
• Feed into the monthly management accounts process for the communication budget and work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure spend is tracked and reported on.
• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than twice a month on average. Occasional travel to other events and locations may also be required approximately four times a year.

JOB PURPOSE This is an exciting senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape how Waverley Abbey tells its story, grows its reach and engages people with its vision. The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in the Resources directorate, providing key financial support to business units within the Development team and our trading subsidiary Clio Enterprises Limited (Clio), whose primary purpose is venue sales in regard to our premises, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace.

The Finance Business Partner role works closely with other members of the Finance team and in particular business partnering with colleagues from Venue Sales and Development. The Finance Team is a friendly team, part of the Academy’s Resources Directorate comprising Finance, HR, IT and Facilities along with Clio. Role Summary

About the Place-Based Resilience Team
The Place-Based Resilience team delivers R-Cities' Resilience for Communities (R4C) program at neighborhood scale, working with communities, cities, and funders across North America, Greater Manchester, and Malaysia. The team combines structured resilience assessment with community-led design, and translates what works in one place into practice elsewhere.
The role
You run day-to-day delivery of the R4C Greater Manchester program. You own the program's operational spine: plans, trackers, records, and the monitoring and evaluation data that evidences impact to funders. You also lead discrete workstreams including workshop facilitation, events, corporate volunteering with Zurich, and support to local implementation partners.
R4C Greater Manchester is currently delivered with local implementation partners at two demonstrator sites, Edgeley in Stockport with An Actions Common CIC and Higher Folds in Wigan with HF Works, alongside institutional partners including the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Stockport and Wigan Councils. The program is expanding to two new communities this year. It is funded by the Z Zurich Foundation and is supported by Zurich UK. The challenge is holding delivery, partner capability, and funder evidence together across four sites as the program moves into its second phase.
How the role is set up today
The program is entering Phase 2 following the close of Phase 1. The Lead - Place-Based Resilience currently carries direct delivery responsibility for Greater Manchester alongside portfolio leadership. You take on day-to-day delivery, with scope to broaden as that transition progresses.

The Fleet Administrator will form a vital part of the Finance and Operations Team supporting the Operations Manager in the management of the Rainbow Trust fleet. This is a new role which will be pivotal to the work of the Strategic Legal Projects Team. The post-holder will work with the Director of Strategic Litigation and Advice to coordinate the delivery of the Strategic Legal Fund (SLF). This is an innovative programme of grant funding, supporting strategic legal work that benefits people who are disadvantaged or discriminated against because of their immigration status. We define strategic litigation as work where the impact goes beyond an individual case and results in changes to law, policy and practice that will benefit a wider group of people. The fund supports pre-litigation research, and third-party interventions in cases before the courts, as well as advocacy related to the legal activities undertaken. Grants can be awarded to non-governmental organisations and law firms.
The post provides an opportunity to contribute strategically to supporting the legal sector working on migrants’ rights in the UK. You will gain experience of all aspects of the grant-making process in the intersection of legal and policy work on issues facing people seeking asylum, migrants and refugees in the UK today.
