We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Corporate Partnerships Manager – Pharmaceuticals to lead and grow our work with the pharmaceutical sector. In this role, you’ll manage and develop high-value partnerships, secure significant income (c.£500k annually), and identify new opportunities that support groundbreaking research and services for people affected by blood cancer. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll shape compelling proposals, represent the organisation in pitches and negotiations, and ensure partners are engaged through excellent stewardship and impact reporting.
You’ll be a confident communicator with a strong track record in high-value fundraising, or equivalent transferable experience, and skilled at building relationships at all levels. Regular travel to our London office and donor meetings will be required, typically once or twice per month, or as the role demands.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can bring significant income-generating expertise to a new challenge. Purpose of the Role
The Director of Income role is responsible for leading our income generation. Our fundraising strategy is to significantly grow and further diversify our income, with a particular focus on corporate and trading income. The postholder will coordinate our fundraising activity, lead our Outreach team and work closely with the CEO to drive forward our income generation so we can safely deliver our ambitious strategy over the next 5 years.
In particular, the postholder will be responsible for coordinating and developing our income function, converting our strategic fundraising objectives into operational plans, managing the Head of Outreach and representing the organisation externally. However, the role is not solely governance and leadership - we need a do-er who is comfortable working in a small team and sharing responsibilities, including submitting fundraising proposals and taking responsibility for our reporting. They will work closely with the CEO, Director of Programmes, Head of Outreach and Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to ensure we are communicating our value proposition coherently and effectively to the important stakeholders that make our work possible.
We do not see this as a traditional fundraising director role - we are looking for a skilled generalist who can meet us where we are at by working confidently across Trusts and Foundations, statutory grants, corporate partnerships and traded services simultaneously. We are a small charity with 10 staff, so while we are looking for a decision-making and accountable leader, the postholder will be expected to support colleagues across the organisation. They will have a collaborateive spirit and the emotional intelligence to thrive in a small team.
The postholder will lead the Outreach team (CEO, Head of Outreach, and Fundraising and Communications Coordinator), ensuring we work efficiently and together. About The Role

It’s an exciting time to join the Philanthropy and Marketing Team at SCF. After investing in our Philanthropy and Marketing capacity, we’ve grown fundraising income by 60% and added almost £10 million to SCF’s endowment since 2021. We recently launched our new 10-year strategy with ambitious plans to grow our endowment to £35 million by 2035 to significantly increase the funding we can provide our communities for generations to come. This role will be key to our growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and delivery of our individual giving programme and strategy, including leading on the delivery of SCF’s annual Surviving Winter Appeal, reviewing our existing donor base and offer, refreshing and embedding stronger donor journeys, and undertaking research and data analysis to explore new supporter audiences Lead the planning and delivery of a high-quality stewardship events and engagement programme, including our Annual Celebration, ‘below the radar’ fundholder events, learning and networking events for our professional advisor partners, and donor visits to charities in collaboration with the Philanthropy and Marketing Director, Senior Philanthropy Manager, and wider team Support the coordination and delivery of SCF’s legacy fundraising programme, working closely with the Philanthropy and Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Manager to deliver our new legacy fundraising strategy Support the delivery of our Collective Giving Funds and annual Fundholder Impact Reports Make best use of Salesforce to support effective donor management and reporting and maintaining high-quality data
ABOUT YOU
You may: have experience in delivering fundraising appeals be confident in creating and delivering donor stewardship plans and/or donor journeys have experience working with Marketing/Communications colleagues to create compelling content to support income generation and stewardship You will: have a proven track record of fundraising across multiple income streams, including individual giving, mid-level/major donors and/or legacies have strong event planning and management skills and experience of delivering high quality events for donors or clients have strong project management skills and experience of managing multiple workstreams in one role have excellent copywriting skills and the ability to tailor communications to a variety of audiences have experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce or similar to manage data and monitor performance using reports have an understanding of the vital role that small, local charities play in our communities and a commitment to tackling inequality in Somerset a clean UK driving license and access to a car

We are looking for a proactive and organised Marketing & Communications Assistant to support the delivery of digital content and campaigns across Southampton Hospitals Charity’s channels.
This role will play a key part in ensuring our communications are delivered consistently and effectively, supporting social media, email marketing and website activity. Key tasks and responsibilities

Assist with maintaining and updating website content, including uploading stories, blogs, and campaign pages.

Support the creation of short-form copy for social media, email and web content.

Support the delivery of fundraising and awareness campaigns across digital channels.

Provide general administrative and operational support to the communications and marketing team.

Support the tracking and reporting of digital performance, including social media and email metrics.
Produce regular summaries of performance to help inform future activity.

Knowledge and experience
Experience using social media platforms (either professionally or personally) and an understanding of how content performs across channels.
Experience creating content and assets using tools such as Canva or similar design platform (or willingness to learn).
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and engagingly for digital audiences.
Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) website content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
Interest in digital marketing, communications or the charity sector.
