This role will help us to do this by supporting the Financial Controller in providing proactive financial support and advice to budget holders based on a sound understanding of the relevant business area.

In this role, you will be responsible for

•  Supporting budget holders in the monitoring and reforecasting of their budgets
• Maintain and create Reports held in the Finance solution for self-serve access by budget holders
• Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets, including profiling and phasing, challenging new requests or increases against efficiency plans proposed by budget holders
• Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory returns in accordance with set processes, procedures and templates for review by the Financial Reporting Manager

We need people who are/have

• Accounting qualification, such as CIMA/ACCA
• Experience providing advice, support and challenge to colleagues and being able to communicate complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
• Knowledge of the current operating environment for social housing providers
• Relevant accounting standards, recommended practice and guidance knowledge

Activities Coordinator

Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, we have been supporting older people for over 120 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.

Redcot, specialising in residential care, is set in the delightful town of Haslemere, Surrey. Overlooking beautiful gardens and surrounded by countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust, Redcot is blessed with a unique, tranquil setting.

Joining us as an Activities Coordinator, you will lead and encourage residents to join in meaningful activities whilst maintaining their independence, choice and dignity, to enable them to lead as full and active life as possible.

In this rewarding role, you will create a stimulating and varied programme of leisure activities and social events, inside and outside of the home, for residents to enjoy. Working with each new resident to understand their likes/dislikes, abilities and needs, you will put together an individual social care plan and evaluate it regularly.

You will play a key role in engaging with the local community by initiating contact with community groups and enabling residents to partake / continue with hobbies and interests as desired. You will also help to recruit a network of volunteers to provide a variety of desired appropriate social opportunities as identified by the residents.

Each year about one thousand seven hundred and fifty people die as a result of road collisions on the UK’s roads. This represents an enormous loss. Each person killed or injured will be someone’s parent, partner, child, a favourite relative or best friend.

At the Road Victims Trust, we help provide effective, personal support to those affected by death or life changing injuries resulting from road collisions is a significant issue.

We seek to provide support for the bereaved and people otherwise affected by road death or life changing injuries, who are resident in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

Purpose of the Role

To develop and manage corporate partnerships that generate income and raise awareness of the Road Victims Trust, while representing the organisation externally and supporting its presence across key networks and platforms.

The role will work closely with the Community Fundraiser to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to income generation.

Working alongside education providers, families, local authorities and safeguarding partners, the service helps children overcome barriers to education, improve safety and wellbeing, and access the support they need to achieve positive, sustainable futures.

About this key role

As an Education Liaison Specialist Caseworker, you will provide specialist education support to children and young people who are disengaged from learning or at risk of exclusion, many of whom have experienced trauma, exploitation or significant disadvantage.

You will manage a caseload of children and young people, delivering one-to-one interventions and group sessions within Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), Alternative Provision and community settings. Working collaboratively with families, schools and professionals, you will help children access safe, appropriate education pathways while ensuring their voice remains central to every stage of support.

You will also advocate for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping families navigate education systems and secure the support needed to improve attendance, engagement and long-term outcomes.

What we are looking for

• Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs, including those affected by trauma, violence, exploitation or disadvantage.
• Good understanding of SEND, school exclusion, attendance, reintegration and education transition processes.
• Experience working with children attending PRUs, Alternative Provision or specialist educational settings.
• Experience completing assessments, managing risk and developing outcome-focused support plans.
• Experience working collaboratively with schools, families, local authorities and multi-agency professionals.
• Knowledge of contextual safeguarding, extra-familial harm, exploitation and serious youth violence.
• Experience delivering engaging one-to-one interventions and groupwork with children and young people.
• Strong communication, advocacy, assessment and case management skills.
• Good written and IT skills, including maintaining accurate case records and reports.

As an Employment Specialist, you will manage a caseload of up to twenty clients, applying the eight principles of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to help individuals secure and sustain competitive employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, participating in case discussions and supervision while contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to client support. Responsibilities include developing employer relationships, identifying suitable job opportunities, supporting clients throughout their employment journey, and providing advice on benefits. You will monitor performance against key targets, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with NHS and organisational procedures, provide ongoing in-work support, and actively engage in professional development, training, and service improvement activities.

Role Overview 

Your focus is supporting the CEO by managing their diary, scheduling meetings, and ensuring board papers are prepared and distributed on time. You also assist the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with meeting coordination and follow-up actions. Key Responsibilities 

CEO Support 

• Manage the CEO’s diary and schedule meetings. 
• Prepare agendas and meeting packs for CEO and SLT meetings.

SLT Support

In this role, you will take a leading position within a dynamic mental health crisis and early‑intervention service, managing a diverse caseload while providing skilled de‑escalation, robust risk assessment and coordinated multi‑agency support. You will guide and empower service users to engage with community services, while also offering day‑to‑day leadership to Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers and volunteers, ensuring consistent, high‑quality practice. Acting as shift lead when required, you will make informed, real‑time decisions to maintain safe and effective service delivery. A key part of the role involves supporting student placements, contributing to learning plans and offering reflective supervision. You will work closely with the Service Manager and Area Manager to monitor performance, contribute to audits and quality reviews, and drive ongoing service development. You will also play an active role in recruitment, onboarding and volunteer integration, and represent the service in partnership forums, strengthening pathways with local crisis teams and community organisations to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions for service users.

As a Trainee Financial Resilience Adviser, you will support residents accessing the borough’s Crisis Resilience Fund. You will help clients build long‑term financial resilience through income maximisation, debt management, and improved financial capability. You will need to be an empathetic and confident communicator, able to build trust with clients experiencing crisis, and committed to empowering people to find a positive way forward. The role also involves supporting vulnerable clients, including acting on their behalf with third parties.
