Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia.
We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system
- Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
- Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support
- Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer
- Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients
About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.
You will need:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including the ability to navigate and utilise bespoke case management systems effectively and an ability to use Microsoft Office applications to a high standard

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes at HMP Drake Hall. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
The role will be prison-based. Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for two passionate and proactive Upstream Practitioner’s to join our Team based in Bournemouth.
About us
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, mental health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The roles
We have two permanent Upstream Practitioner roles available, which are both school based and are part of our policy and prevention directorate. They will report to the Senior Upstream Practitioner and as a team, you will play a key role in our pre-16 prevention pilot, helping to identify and address the root causes of youth homelessness.
We have one full-time role and one term-time role available. Both roles are 37.5 hours per week and will be based in The Bourne Academy. The full-time role is working over 52 weeks and includes annual leave entitlement in line with Centrepoint’s policy. The term-time role is working over 41 weeks per year (39 weeks during term time plus 2 additional weeks). This role does not include annual leave. Instead, the annual leave is paid in addition to the salary.
The successful candidates will need to be available week commencing 23rd March Monday to Friday in Manchester, to undertake Level 4 mediation training with UK Mediation. All expenses will be paid for by Centrepoint.
What you’ll be doing …
- Delivering a school-based early intervention programme aimed at preventing youth homelessness
- Administering the Upstream Survey to students aged 11–16 to help identify hidden risk factors
- Managing and maintaining a caseload of young people, carrying out holistic assessments to understand their wellbeing, relationships, and home life, working proactively with them and their families before issues escalate to crisis point
- Leading and delivering workshops and providing early intervention support focused on emotional wellbeing, resilience, healthy relationships, and independent living skills
- Working closely with schools, families, and community services to support sustained positive outcomes
- Collecting, monitoring, and recording impact data to track progress and support continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
- Experience supporting children, young people, and families in a preventative or early intervention context
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with young people, families, and professionals
- Strong skills in completing risk assessments and managing safeguarding concerns and be committed to safeguarding and trauma-informed practices
- Knowledge of local services and referral pathways
- Ability to work independently within a school-based environment while collaborating with partner agencies
- Interest in using data and evaluation to inform and improve practice
- A relevant qualification or experience in Family Support, Mediation, Social Work, or a related field is desirable

We are a large-scale restoration and hospitality project in the Northwest Highlands with strong philanthropic and community commitments. In 2026 we will become a Scottish charity - The Tanera Project – with core purposes spanning rural regeneration, resilience building in our public services via the provision of respite breaks, and ecosystem restoration.
We are looking for a Team Lead to take on the coordination of our Land and Estates Team across our island and mainland properties, totalling 6,500 acres of grounds, in-bye land, woodland and hill. The team has a wide remit, including grasskeeping, landscaping, regenerative agriculture on a crofting-scale, livestock, stalking, fishing, horses, guest activities, and supporting our gardens, ecology and path teams with extra hands when needed. The team is five strong, supported by seasonal hands, volunteers and staff from other teams working multifunctionally.
Our land management approach balances production, nature, and heritage, with an emphasis on using the land to build communities. We share everything we do with guests and volunteers so planning for and delivering shared activities is a core part of the role. We deliver our activities with an impeccable aesthetic centred round heritage, industry and creativity, requiring a real eye for detail. The Land and Estates Team covers several core functions in the charity and has a diverse remit with competing priorities so this role will appeal to proven leaders, able to deliver both on the ground and in terms of planning and organisation. It will involve turning a hand to many different tasks and many hours out and about in our challenging West Coast environment.
Regeneration
We are looking for an excellent coordinator with demonstrable experience in leading a team with a wide remit and proficiency in at least two of the team focus areas: grounds-keeping, agriculture, estate work, horses and working with guests and volunteers in an outdoor environment. The right candidate will be an experienced, creative, resourceful and flexible professional. They will have an interest in landscape scale regeneration that is attentive to heritage, productivity (food and more) and ecosystems. The salary for this role will be £40-50kpa, depending on experience.
Resilience
Our team comes from across the country and further afield. We have our own growing island community of staff, guests and volunteers, while also being embedded in mainland life in nearby crofting townships and villages. The work of the Land and Estates team is wide-ranging and there are also opportunities to work with different teams and on different projects, sail heritage boats, work with our horses, host guests, school groups and volunteers, and generally get involved with island life.
