About the role:

Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, and working closely with external partners, the Individual Giving Executive will play a key role in growing and retaining our community of supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. The post holder will contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail, digital, and telemarketing.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in direct marketing and individual giving fundraising, working on a variety of campaigns designed to attract, retain, and inspire donors.

You will gain hands-on experience in supporter communications, project management, and data-driven fundraising, helping to shape effective appeals and engagement strategies. We're looking for a Supporter Experience Assistant to join our Data, Insight and Supporter Experience (DISE) Team, part of our wider Fundraising Team. You'll be the first point of contact for our supporters — responding to enquiries by phone, email and post with warmth and professionalism. You'll process regular giving requests, including changes to payment schedules, donation amounts and cancellations, ensuring everything is actioned accurately and on time. You'll also help keep our fundraising CRM up to date, supporting the wider team with administrative and income-processing tasks.

About You

You'll have experience in customer service or handling enquiries by phone, email or in person, along with strong administrative skills and real attention to detail. You're comfortable maintaining accurate records or databases, and you communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbal. As Assistant Company Secretary, you’ll play a key role in making sure Marie Curie’s governance runs smoothly and effectively. Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities below reflect where the role will focus in its first year. Individual Giving is a growing team working to Agile principles, so priorities will develop over time. We would expect the postholder to support colleagues across Public Fundraising as needs change, and to shape their own areas of specialism as they grow in the role.

Campaign Delivery and Acquisition

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned individual giving acquisition campaigns, from brief and creative development through to build, launch, optimisation and evaluation.

• Deliver lead generation activity across paid social, paid search and email, working with our digital consultants and agency partners on execution.

• Support the delivery of integrated campaigns where conversion takes place by telephone or mail, briefing our telemarketing partner, managing lead flow, and monitoring lead quality and volume.

• Deliver cash appeals across email, direct mail and digital, taking a named lead role on agreed appeals within the annual cycle.

• Test and optimise creative, audiences, landing pages and asks, maintaining a clear test log and sharing what we learn across the team.

• Monitor campaign performance against CPL, CPA, response rate and ROI targets, reporting on results and flagging where reallocating budget would improve returns.

• Contribute to the testing and rollout of new fundraising propositions as they emerge from our proposition development work.

• Track campaign spends against budget, raise purchase orders, and support reforecasting.

Supporter Journeys, Retention and Upgrade

• Design, build and implement the welcome journey for new regular givers, covering the welcome pack, thank-you contact and automated email sequence.

• Plan and deliver structured upgrade activity and other asks to regular giving and cash supporters, working with agency partners where telephone delivery is used.

• Contribute to reducing first-year attrition and increasing average gift value against agreed targets, reporting on retention by cohort and upgrade take-up and taking learnings forward.

• Work closely with the Team so that journeys are practical to deliver, with reactive supporter contact and fulfilment considered.

Cross-Sell and Collaboration

• Develop and deliver cross-sell activity that introduces supporters from one part of our fundraising to another, for example inviting campaigners, petition signers, community fundraisers and event participants to give regularly.

• Support legacy and in-memory promotion by embedding appropriate messaging within acquisition and supporter journey communications.

• Work with Agile principles in mind, planning and delivering collaboratively.

•  Provide cover and support for colleagues across Public Fundraising during periods of peak activity, absence or change, and deputise for the Individual Giving Manager where required.

Data, Compliance and Ways of Working

• Maintain accurate campaign and supporter records within our CRM system (Access CRM), and brief data selections and segmentation accurately.

• Hold a good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, as well as the Fundraising Code of Practice.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

• Demonstrable experience delivering direct marketing or individual giving campaigns end to end, within a charity, agency or comparable commercial environment.

• Hands-on experience setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Business Suite and/or Google paid advertising, and in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.

• Experience planning, building or contributing to supporter journeys, welcome programmes or automated email sequences.

• Comfortable working with campaign data and reporting against metrics such as CPL, CPA, response rate and ROI using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and within Excel, and using results to make decisions.

• Strong written communication, with the ability to write and brief compelling fundraising copy that motivates and inspires.

• Experience briefing and working alongside agencies, consultants or external suppliers to deliver activity to deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and priorities in a busy environment, with excellent attention to detail.

• A collaborative and innovative mindset with a desire to test, learn, and work cross-functionally.

• Comfortable in a changing environment where priorities shift, and willing to take on new areas as the team's needs and your own development require.

• A strong belief in the work we do at PCR, and a demonstrable desire to improve outcomes for patients through our work in fundraising.

Desirable:

• Experience of regular giving retention, upgrade or reactivation activity.

• Experience of telemarketing or direct mail campaigns, including briefing agencies and managing data selections.

• Experience working with a CRM system, particularly Access CRM, and with donation platforms such as Fundraise Up.

• Knowledge of WordPress website optimisation and landing page build, or a strong desire to learn.

• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks.

• Ability to utilise and integrate AI tools and workflows such as Microsoft Copilot including agents to improve effectiveness, efficiency and outcomes where appropriate.

Khalsa Aid International is looking for a creative and talented Content Writer to help bring our humanitarian work to life.

From responding to emergencies and supporting communities around the world to working alongside volunteers and delivering long-term projects, there are incredible stories behind everything we do. We need someone who can find those stories, tell them with purpose and help our supporters understand the difference they are making.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work across our programmes, fundraising and communications teams to create engaging content for a wide range of audiences and platforms.

You will:

• ✍️ Write compelling blogs, website content, newsletters, fundraising appeals and reports.
• 🌍 Turn programme updates, interviews and field reports into powerful humanitarian stories.
• ❤️ Tell stories in a dignified, ethical and human-centred way.
• 📣 Develop campaign messaging, headlines and calls to action that inspire people to get involved.
• 🎥 Create scripts, captions and written content for video and social media.
• ✏️ Edit and proofread content to ensure it is clear, accurate and engaging.
• 🤝 Work closely with our Digital Creator and teams across Khalsa Aid to develop integrated campaigns.
• 🚨 Support fast-moving communications during humanitarian emergencies and disaster responses.
• 📊 Use content performance and audience insights to continually improve what we do.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who is a great writer, curious, creative and passionate about making a difference.

You’ll have:

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience creating both long- and short-form content.
• A strong instinct for finding and telling compelling stories.
• Experience creating content for digital channels, including websites, social media and email.
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• The ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
• Degree in Marketing & Communications or equivalent professional experience in content writing.
• A proactive and collaborative approach.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• A genuine interest in humanitarian work and Khalsa Aid’s mission.

It would be great if you also have experience within the charity, humanitarian or international development sector, and/or speak Punjabi or Hindi.

As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and overseeing the Foundation’s people strategy as it enters an exciting period of growth, including the expansion of key programmes, reaching new audiences and a major capital project. We are looking for an experienced HR generalist with substantial experience of supporting employees and senior managers within a small to medium-sized organisation. You will have a strong understanding of UK employment law and practical experience of delivering effective recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes, alongside the ability to develop well-researched recommendations on HR policy and practice. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, written and interviewing skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm, objective and organised when managing sensitive or competing priorities. You will be proactive, collegiate and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, with a genuine commitment to Freelands Foundation’s mission to champion art education and a belief in the intrinsic value of art. A minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent is required. Charity or arts-sector experience, change management, and coaching experience would be advantageous.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) on day shifts with a rolling rota. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will work with residents to create tailored support plans, identify their needs, goals, and skills, and motivate them to reach their potential. You will encourage engagement in activities and the community, provide tools for life skills, and ensure effective risk management with a strong focus on public protection. The team work closely with one another and support which achieving overall service KPI's, and you will be part of making a greater change. Everyday looks different so this is perfect for someone who wants a role where no two days are the same. 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Engaging with residents, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage them with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins

About You

You will thrive working within the team as well as independently, and be comfortable with working with people who have different offending histories. We're looking for someone who can build trust and rapport with others, and has a positive outlook, which can be used to support others. We also look for:

• Ability to manage own caseload and determine priorities with time management. Able to use own initiative
• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours or a good understanding of the sector.
• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience
• Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice and mental health
• Cultural awareness, Self-awareness, and ability to identify personal growth areas and take feedback

About the role

As a Children and Family worker, you will be based within our Women's Refuge service, supporting women and children up to the age of 15 who have escaped domestic abuse. You will deliver trauma-informed, child and family centred support to promote safety and wellbeing, working collaboratively with mothers to strengthen the parent-child relationship during a time of crisis. You will support with both emotional and practical day-to-day support. This is typically done through key work sessions, risk assessments, and empowerment focused activities. 

You will play a vital role in supporting families, being the sole specialist within the service, which gives you autonomy to shape the role based on your expertise and experience. You will lead on child-focused support, as well as working part of the wider team to provide the support to mothers. You will deliver a range of support for children and young people, as well as family and parenting support. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support parents to build confidence, parenting skills, and resilience while promoting positive family relationships. 
• Deliver age-appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities that support children's education, wellbeing, and personal growth. 
• Facilitate family support sessions and interventions to rebuild relationships, improve life skills, and address the impact of trauma. 
• Develop and maintain trusting, trauma-informed relationships with children, families, and residents, providing both practical and emotional support. 
• Contribute to support planning, risk assessments, safeguarding actions, and regular reviews to ensure residents' safety and progress.
• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, mental health issues, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring effective intervention and support. 
• Maintain accurate case records, reports, and confidential information in line with GDPR and organisational procedures. 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, social services, and community partners to deliver integrated support and improve outcomes for children and families.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a real passion to support families and children who have experienced domestic abuse. You will have a trauma-informed understanding of domestic abuse and the impact it has on families, and will be able to engage in sensitive conversations, recognising signs on trauma, and being proactive to support families to overcome this. This is a hands-on, active role, ideal for someone who is creative, energetic, and passionate about working directly with families. You will be a team player, able to collaborate and provide support to colleagues as needed. 

• A background in working with adults and children, particularly from trauma affected backgrounds
• Experience in supporting mothers in helping children transition to new schools
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging play sessions, after school activities, and family events as well as religious and national celebrations
• Confidence in working with children who may have behavioural challenges, being able to signpost to early intervention services
• Experience/ability to support children with special educational needs or additional behavioural needs
• Ability to work in a fast changing environment
• Patience, empathy and resilience
