The Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre is an educational charity whose mission is to educate young people about who Jews are and the contributions they have made to society. Our free workshops are integrated with the National Curriculum and rooted in academic research. Since launching in January 2024, we've reached over 5,800 students and built partnerships with schools across England, Scotland and Wales.

We're now entering an ambitious phase of growth, developing deeper relationships with select Focus Schools and building towards a national reach of 25,000 students per year.

The role

This is far more than a management job. As our first School Partnerships Manager, you'll lead our outreach to schools and play a central role in shaping how the Centre develops and grows. Working closely with the Director, you'll drive the number of schools accessing our programmes, deepen relationships with existing partners, and help design our Focus School programme from the ground up.

You'll spend your time:

• Building and stewarding relationships with teachers, heads of department, and senior school leaders
• Proactively identifying and contacting prospective partner schools through outreach, networking and events
• Managing the full partnership lifecycle, from first contact through booking, delivery and follow-up
• Shaping our Focus School programme and contributing ideas for curriculum development
• Representing the Centre at conferences and educational events

The Sheppard Trust provides homes for older women in housing need, and we support them to live independently.  We reduce loneliness and isolation by fostering a supportive community spirit.   

We're about to move to brand-new, purpose built accommodation near Hampton Court village in Surrey, with 60 one bedroomed flats and a range of communal facilities.  This has been years of work for our charity and we're really excited to form the team that will work with our residents in our brand new home.  Our residents live independently in their homes, with assistance to access the appropriate support services to maintain independence.We want them to live full and active lives in an inclusive, thriving community which is well regarded in our local community.

The purpose of this role is to support the residents to achieve their personal goals for independent living and wellbeing, safely and with dignity.  You'll create support plans, offer practical advice, induct new residents, conduct welfare checks and meetings, arrange activities, work with other agencies, deal with emergencies, support good safeguarding practices and help look after our new building.

We're expecting a shift pattern where you could be rota'd to work either 8am - 4pm or 12pm - 8pm, Monday to Friday.  There are times when lone working will be a requirement for this role, especially the last part of the later shift.  An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Research in Practice has supported evidence-informed practice in adult social care for 21 years. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Continuing Professional Development and Learning Officer to join our adult’s team.

This senior role is ideal for an experienced facilitator who has substantial experience in adult social care or related sectors. While the position requires engagement with, and understanding of, research it is not a primary research role.

We’re looking for an experienced project manager to lead our most significant, "high-reward" strategic initiatives. These are the projects that change the way we operate as an organisation. 

This isn't just about moving cards on a Trello board; it’s about interpersonal leadership. You will be leading cross-functional teams of people who don't report to you, requiring a masterclass in "soft power," diplomacy, and drive. You’ll also be our lead on high-level procurement, negotiating contracts with external partners and ensuring our technologists deliver exactly what the charity needs. 

You will provide the professional framework and leadership necessary to move projects from conception to completion. You will act as the "bridge" between our strategic goals and operational reality, ensuring that every project delivers maximum value to the families we serve and the donors who support us.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Governance

• End-to-End Delivery: Own the project lifecycle for high-stakes initiatives, applying Prince 2 principles to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
• Strategic Risk Management: Identify potential "roadblocks"—whether cultural, financial, or technical—and develop robust mitigation plans to keep the organisation protected.
• Outcome Focus: Ensure that project success is measured not just by "completion," but by the long-term positive impact on the charity’s efficiency and mission.
• Budgetary Oversight: Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring financial transparency and value for money in a charity context.

Collaboration & "Soft Power" Leadership

• Matrix Management: Lead multi-disciplinary project teams (Fundraising, Marketing, Operations, etc.) where you do not have direct line-management authority. You will be an expert at building rapport and securing commitment from busy colleagues.
• Stakeholder Influence: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and departmental managers to maintain alignment and navigate competing priorities.
• Change Management: Recognise that new systems or processes require a shift in culture. You will lead the "people" side of change, ensuring staff are supported and engaged throughout the transition.

External Partnerships & Resource Management

• Strategic Procurement: Lead the selection and onboarding of external service providers or consultants. This includes defining requirements, evaluating tenders, and conducting high-level contract negotiations.
• Vendor Accountability: Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, ensuring they meet their contractual obligations and provide value for money.
• Expert Liaison: Work confidently with subject-matter experts (SMEs)—whether they are technologists, legal consultants, or financial experts. You will translate complex "expert-speak" into clear, actionable insights for the wider team.

3. The Working Environment

Our projects often involve updating the "engine room" of the charity. While this is not an IT role, you will frequently lead projects involving:

• Complex software integrations (CRM, Finance, and Web/Digital).
• Data-driven transformations to improve fundraising and marketing.
• Operational process re-engineering to improve service delivery to families.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Prince 2 Practitioner (or equivalent project management framework)
• Significant experience leading cross-functional projects in a mid-to-large organisation
• Proven ability to influence and lead teams without direct line authority
• Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation, budgeting, and procurement
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Ability to remain calm and focused when leading high-pressure, time-sensitive projects
• Ability to take a pragmatic approach, knowing when to stick to the "rulebook" and when to adapt your approach to suit the charity’s unique culture
• Ability to think critically, not being fazed by technical jargon or expert complexity; you ask the right questions to get to the heart of a challenge

Desirable:

• Experience in organisational design or change management

Additional Information:

Due to the nature of the role and the organisation, we believe that this post is subject to an occupational requirement that the holder be a practising Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. Terms and Conditions:

This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary will be up to £39,500 per annum, depending upon experience.

This position is 37 hours per week.

The position is offered subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period.

Holiday entitlement is five weeks per annum, rising to six weeks after two years’ continuous service, plus statutory holidays.

CFF operates a group personal pension scheme and will contribute to an employee’s plan, within the scheme, a monthly payment equivalent to 10% of their gross monthly salary once conditions for entry to the scheme have been met.

About the role:

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work on people experiencing homelessness across London. As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Every relationship you build and every gift you secure will help create real opportunities for our clients to move away from homelessness and towards safety, stability and independence.

You will take the lead in developing and managing meaningful relationships with major donors, creating thoughtful and engaging journeys that bring them closer to our work and the difference it makes day to day. Alongside nurturing existing supporters, you will identify and secure new funding opportunities, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of donors and driving forward this new area of income generation within the team. Working collaboratively across SHP, you will connect philanthropists with our services in a way that feels personal, impactful and rooted in the realities of our work, while contributing to the wider fundraising targets that enable us to keep delivering life changing support.

Hybrid working for us means a mix of in office working in Kings Cross and home working. Currently two days in the office (usually Wednesday and Friday) with the rest from home.

The role will focus on conservation-led wildlife management, including protecting and enhancing local Red Squirrel populations, habitat and species monitoring, and delivering practical land management across a diverse landscape. Working closely with landowners, partners, volunteers and local communities, the successful candidate will combine strong ecological knowledge with excellent communication and public engagement skills to help create a thriving, resilient landscape for wildlife and people.

The Role:

• Coordinate stakeholders across the Northern Dales to deliver joined-up, evidence-led wildlife management, with a focus on Grey Squirrel control to support Red Squirrel populations.
• Lead ecological surveys and monitoring to inform habitat management, including grazing impacts, vegetation change, bird activity, ground-nesting productivity and invasive species.
• Produce reports and contribute to conservation research in collaboration with colleagues, agencies and external partners.
• Manage and support wildlife contractors, volunteers and controllers, delivering evidence-based squirrel and deer management across the estate and wider landscape.
• Support delivery of the Snaizeholme Estate project, providing specialist input into woodland, peatland, wetland and farmed habitat management.
• Deliver public engagement through presentations, events, site visits and volunteer coordination, ensuring safe and effective conservation activities.
• Ensure wildlife management complies with best practice, environmental legislation and regional/national partnership frameworks.
• Maintain accurate survey and management records using IT/GIS systems, support health and safety compliance, and provide training and guidance where needed.
• This is a homebased role, requiring regular travel to locations within the Snaizeholme landscape and wider area, sometimes to remote locations. You would be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of your area of responsibility. Occasional travel to regional offices and overnight stays will be required.

The Candidate:

• Experience assessing, monitoring, and managing wildlife and habitats to deliver conservation objectives, particularly in upland environments.
• Skilled in wildlife and habitat surveying, species identification, and practical conservation management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building experience with farmers, land managers, ENGOs, local authorities, volunteers, and community groups.
• Confident in public engagement, including presentations, guided walks, and volunteer coordination.
• Knowledge of conservation-led wildlife management, habitat survey methodologies, and upland land-use practices.
• Competent in Health & Safety management, including lone working, risk assessments, and working in challenging terrain/weather conditions.
• Proficient in IT, data management, record keeping, and GIS software.
• Qualified with a relevant environmental/ecology/land management degree (or equivalent experience), full UK driving licence, and willingness to complete specialist training/certifications including Grey Squirrel Management and DSC Level 1 if not already held.

CAFOD is looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Community Participation Co-ordinator to help grow engagement across the Leeds Diocese.

Working as part of a regional team, you will inspire and support parishes, schools and the wider Catholic community to participate in CAFOD’s work through prayer, action and giving. About the Role

We’re hiring a Trauma Stabilisation Worker to join our team based in Hove. In this role, you will support women who have experienced significant trauma and multiple disadvantages, including domestic and sexual violence, exploitation, homelessness, mental ill-health and substance use.

As a Trauma Stabilisation Worker, you will deliver person-centred support and structured interventions to help residents manage trauma, build emotional regulation skills and develop coping strategies to support recovery and housing stability. You will work closely with colleagues and external partners to maintain a trauma-informed, psychologically informed environment that promotes safety, consistency and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support residents experiencing trauma, mental ill-health, substance use, homelessness and complex needs

• Deliver structured 1:1 trauma stabilisation interventions and maintain a manageable caseload

• Help residents build emotional regulation, coping skills, and confidence to sustain housing and move forward positively

• Create and review personalised support plans through one-to-one work, group sessions, and multi agency collaboration

• Recognise and respond to risks, including safeguarding concerns and deterioration in mental health

• Plan and deliver trauma-informed group activities and contribute to house meetings

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to provide joined up support

• Keep accurate, timely records and maintain high standards of case management and confidentiality

• Support residents in crisis while maintaining clear professional boundaries

• Lone working is part of the role, with support from a wider team

About You

We’re looking for an empathetic and resilient individual who understands the impact of trauma and the challenges faced by women with multiple and complex needs. You will have experience supporting people affected by issues such as domestic abuse, mental ill-health, homelessness, and substance use. You will be confident delivering structured support, including one-to-one interventions and group work and be able to engage individuals who may be in distress or disengaged from services. 

You’ll be proactive, organised, and able to manage a varied workload, while working collaboratively within a team. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and will have alignment with our SIG values. You will be keen to support our residents to achieve their individual goals and support them to be the best versions of themselves.
