Your Mission
The Creative Lead is pivotal in shaping and executing CALM's overarching creative vision. Our mission is to cultivate a culture where everyone understands, and feels willing and able to prevent suicide for themselves and others. So, this role is responsible for ensuring all creative content resonates with our audiences, and impactfully communicates our mission to prevent suicide. By leading creative output across all campaigns, projects, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives, the Creative Lead is central to driving significant attitudinal and behaviour change. You’ll be proactive and hands-on: willing to roll up your sleeves and engage deeply with all aspects of the role. You’ll collaborate closely with the Studio team to maintain brand guardianship and foster creative innovation. Responsibilities
Brand and creative
Create impactful and effective work that inspires and engages both supported and supporter audiences, helping to normalise suicide prevention and ultimately save lives.
Act as a creative champion, providing creative counsel and working with the Marketing Leadership Team to ensure consistency and resonance, across tone of voice and look and feel.
Act as an integral creative partner in the development and execution of major agency-led campaigns, providing brand guardianship input and CALM-first thinking.
Lead the conceptualisation of new ideas across MarComms activity, translating strategic goals into impactful creative that drives attitudinal and behaviour change.
Manage agency creative approaches, reviewing all ideas against strategic objectives, team resources, and timeliness.
Generate self-initiated ideas for potential CALM campaigns and content.
Ensure all content is created in line with the MarComms measurement framework, applying a test and learn approach to output.

Lead content on agreed projects in collaboration with the Studio team, using expert copywriting skills to deliver high-quality, SEO-optimised copy across a range of formats, including website content, social, reactive statements, and e-mail.

We are seeking a Centre Warden to provide overall leadership for the Centre, taking responsibility for setting culture and vision across the organization. The Centre Warden will develop strong and successful relationships with key external partners, deliver an imaginative programme for spiritual retreats and quiet days, and ensure that there are sufficient resources available for the Centre to flourish.

The role will lead the programming and operational delivery of an annual programme of events to support strategic priorities, including income generation, public programmes, industry connections, graduates and student engagement, and royal patronage events.
The ideal candidate will be able to deal confidently and professionally with some of the most senior and successful creative people internally and externally. You will take a collaborative approach to event planning and work with Development colleagues to help them successfully deliver the new multi-year fundraising campaign strategy. Your ability to work at both strategic and operational levels will be key to your success.

The job
We're looking for a digital leader. To us, that means you’ll be able to advise clients on how to align their digital presence with their organisational goals. You’ll know what good looks like, and you’ll have the interpersonal skills to explain and convince others of your views.
Ever-curious, you’re the kind of person that is always looking for opportunities to make digital deliver for clients. You'll have an instinctive sense of what will (and won't) work on various platforms (websites, data platforms, Substacks, etc.), how they should complement each other and what it means to build an engaged online audience.
You'll have that instinct because you've done it before: you know how to set digital/design KPIs and manage a team to meet those targets; you’ve run enough website build processes to do it in your sleep, and you know how to identify things a client should do, and explain to them why they should invest in doing them.
You’ll have a number of responsibilities from day one. You’ll take over advising our largest digital clients and be responsible for supporting them in their mission.
You’ll be the new business lead for any strategy projects that require digital infrastructure – that means identifying what needs to change, writing those ideas into proposals, and pitching them. And you will own the digital roadmap for client content-led platforms, ensuring that the content isn’t just ‘published’ but drives audience growth.
You’ll be managing a team of developers to ensure the final product delivers on the strategic vision. While you may have a technical background, it’s worth being clear that this is not a technical role and we are not looking for exclusively technical candidates.
The challenge
Our clients work in the front line of campaigning to make the world a better place. Their websites are often the first thing funders and policymakers will check to see how legitimate or credible an organisation is. Nothing kills credibility faster than a website that loads slowly, categorises content in a way that no-one outside the organisation understands, or a site where the design is just… bad.
The challenge is that too many policy websites prioritise internal audiences over external. Rather than thinking “what does policymaker X need to see?”, the question is “what do senior management want to see on the website?” This leads to websites that are an output in themselves, rather than websites that lead to outcomes.
Your job is to ensure that all our digital workstreams avoid that trap; that they prioritise outcomes (hard to do), over simple outputs (anyone can do).
What we are looking for:
Someone who prizes outcomes over outputs, and knows how to adapt their approach to achieve best results.
Clear leadership of a digital function–in a consultancy, a nonprofit, or another relevant organisation.
A consultative approach: you’re able to identify problems, solutions and opportunities, and convince others of your point of view.
Commercial and revenue management experience.
Experience managing a team, and an understanding of how to get the best out of different types of people in that team.
An understanding of the policy landscape and know how to use digital platforms to move the needle with policymakers, media, and other stakeholders.
