About our organisation
Music as Therapy International is looking for an ambitious, creative and relationship-focused Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising as we enter an exciting new phase of our development.
Registered in 1998 and recently converted to a CIO, we are a small, established charity with a big ambition: To inspire, guide and champion caregivers to use music to strengthen care. Our work equips caregivers with practical skills and approaches that use music to improve the lives of people in vulnerable situations around the world.
We have entered a new strategic period focused on extending our reach, evolving our training and securing the future of music in care. In 2025 we operated with an income of c.£225k. We are now looking for someone to build on this, bringing fundraising expertise, initiative and curiosity to help us turn our strategic ambitions into sustainable growth.
About the role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will have a genuinely influential role in making that ambition possible. Working closely with our Director and wider team, you will take the lead on developing and delivering our fundraising strategy across trusts and foundations, major donors, regular giving, community fundraising, corporate partnerships and legacies.
This is not a role where you will be one small part of a large fundraising machine. You will have the opportunity to shape our approach, develop meaningful relationships with supporters and funders, identify new opportunities and turn our impact into compelling propositions that inspire people to give.
If you are an experienced fundraiser who enjoys having responsibility, building relationships and seeing the direct results of your work, we would like to hear from you.
Please submit your CV and a Covering Letter responding to our two questions (max. 200-300 words per question):
1) What attracted you to the Fundraising Manager role at Music as Therapy International?
2) What from your fundraising experience is most relevant to the role and the charity?
If you have any questions, or would like an informal chat about the role, please contact the charity and ask to speak to Richard.
Interviews with suitable candidates will take place as applications are received (an initial Zoom call, followed by an in-person second stage interview for shortlisted candidates).
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Right now, we are looking for a Senior Recovery Outreach Worker to play a pivotal role in our community based day service in Notting Hill.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As a Senior Recovery Outreach Worker, you will support the effective operation and ongoing development of the service, promoting recovery, independence, and wellbeing through person-centred support that helps individuals sustain tenancies and reduce the risk of repeat hospital admissions. Working closely with the Team and Area Managers, you will monitor performance, support contractual compliance, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. You will provide leadership, mentoring, and supervision to staff, volunteers, and students, while assisting with recruitment, training, and workforce planning. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
In this role, you will need demonstrable experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and dual diagnosis, supported by a strong understanding of community care, housing, welfare benefits, health and safety, equality, and relevant legislation. You will have knowledge of recovery-focused practice and be confident in assessing, implementing, reviewing, and monitoring person-centred support plans. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, while supporting the induction and development of new staff and volunteers, is essential. Strong literacy, numeracy, and administrative skills are required, including handling basic financial transactions. You will also understand safeguarding responsibilities, maintain professional standards, and be flexible in working evenings and weekends when required.
