Dramatherapy is a form of psychological therapy that uses drama and theatre processes to support people in exploring emotions, developing insight, and promoting personal growth. It is a creative, evidence-based approach used in a wide range of clinical, educational, and community settings.
Purpose of the Post:
This role provides the administrative foundation of the organisation, ensuring its day-to-day operations run smoothly, efficiently and reliably. The Administrator is the central point through which systems, information and processes are held and maintained.
The postholder is responsible for coordinating membership administration and core systems. They ensure accurate record-keeping, support financial and governance processes, and coordinate the practical delivery of organisational activity.
Through consistent, attentive administration, this role enables the wider organisation to function effectively. It supports a coherent, responsive service that members can trust and rely on, making an important contribution to the stability, professionalism and effective operation of the Association and, in turn, the wider field of dramatherapy.
Working Hours & Location
This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week) and is home-based.
The postholder will have flexibility in how their contracted hours are worked across the week, subject to the operational needs of the Association. At least 15 hours will need to be worked during normal business hours to attend team meetings, respond to member enquiries, and fulfil key organisational responsibilities. Working arrangements will be agreed with the line manager and reviewed as required in supervision.
The postholder will also be required to attend the Directors' Meeting, which takes place once a month, either on a Saturday morning or on a weekday evening. Attendance at these meetings forms part of the contracted hours for this role.
There may also be occasional requirements to attend other meetings or events, such as the annual conference or team away days, which may fall outside the postholder's usual working pattern. Where additional hours are worked to attend such events, time off in lieu (TOIL) will be offered within the following two weeks.
Job Description:
Membership Administration & Data Management
Database Management: Maintain organisational records and information, ensuring they are accurate, up to date and complete to the best of the Association's knowledge and strictly comply with UK GDPR and data protection regulations.
Member Pipeline: Process new member applications, renewals, category switches and lapses smoothly.
Onboarding: Support new member onboarding by issuing welcome packs and ensuring seamless access to systems and benefits.
Offboarding: Where members do not renew, update the database, send a feedback form, and track reasons for departure.
Reporting: Maintain systems for tracking membership data and produce regular statistical reports for management.
Policy: Support the implementation and development of organisational policies and procedures in collaboration with directors and committees.
Financial
Financial Tracking: Work with the bookkeeper to ensure financial records on Xero are complete.
Invoicing: Work with the bookkeeper in to set up and release payments once approved by the company director. Send invoices and invoice reminders where membership fees have not been correctly paid.

Member Enquiries & Customer Service
Inbox Management: Act as the first point of contact for the organisation, managing the central inbox and handling routine membership queries with clear, timely responses.
Signposting: Direct complex or specific enquiries to the relevant resources, directors or volunteer committees.
Feedback Collection: Gather and analyse member feedback (both impromptu and via structured surveys) to help improve services and satisfaction.
Core Communications & Digital Channels
Website & Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain and update website content via the admin backend (updating committee member profiles, helping members with login issues, and updating job listings). Ensure core plugins and page layouts are regularly updated to their latest versions. Troubleshoot and fix any automated background tasks or form workflows that are not functioning as expected, and proactively source appropriate external IT or web developer expertise when a complex technical fix is required.
Social Media: Manage member applications to the members-only Facebook group, including tracking usernames to remove lapsed members.
Newsletters & Email: Add any administrative or membership-related updates to the monthly newsletter and proofread final copy before sending.
Cyber Security Incident Response: Act as an initial administrative responder if a cyber security incident is suspected, following the organisation’s cyber incident response playbook. This includes knowing how to force log out affected users, revoke active sessions where possible, reset passwords, reset or rotate other access credentials where required, preserve relevant records, and escalate promptly to the allocated line manager and board of directors. Credentials may include passwords, security codes, access tokens, API keys, recovery codes, or other information that proves a person or system is authorised to access an account.
Committee & Volunteer Support
Committee Administration Support: Provide administrative support to volunteer committees, including maintaining committee webpages, distributing communications, adding meetings to committees’ Teams calendars where requested, updating records, and supporting agreed administrative processes.
Volunteer Admin: Assist with the administrative onboarding and retention processes for volunteers, ensuring they have the guidance and resources needed.

About Play for Progress
This is an exciting moment for Play for Progress (PFP) as we celebrate our 10th anniversary and reflect on a decade of creative, therapeutic and community-building work with young people navigating the asylum system. Play for Progress is a Croydon-based charity dedicated to supporting unaccompanied young people seeking asylum, aged between 14 and 25. Through creative engagement, education, therapeutic & mental health support and community-building, we provide a space where young people can access opportunities, develop their skills, and find the support they need to navigate the challenges of displacement.
Our mission is simple but profound: to ensure that every young person who comes to us has the community to survive, the space to heal, and the stability to thrive. We are a small, close-knit team driven by a deep commitment to the young people we serve and we are looking for a Head of Therapeutic Services who shares that commitment.
The Role
This is a management position with both strategic and clinical responsibility. As Head of Therapeutic Services, you will drive and develop our therapeutic offer, ensuring that our young people receive high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care. You will lead our team of multi disciplinary therapists, providing clinical oversight and operational support, and hold a small caseload of clients. You will also manage and oversee our weekly group therapy sessions on Tuesday afternoons in Croydon.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Therapeutic Services will contribute to organisational strategy, safeguarding, service development and build strong working processes across the different strands of Play for Progress. You will work closely with the Executive Director and senior leadership team to shape the organisation’s Therapy Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Service Development
Provide strategic leadership for all therapeutic services, including individual therapy, group work, and psychosocial support programmes
Develop and implement the clinical strategy aligned with the charity’s mission and the specific needs of traumatised young refugees
Represent therapeutic services within the Senior Leadership Team.

Clinical Practice

This is an exciting opportunity to become a Key Worker within our high performing psychosocial drug and alcohol service in HMP Birmingham.
We provide a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol. Our skilled and compassionate team work closely with people who use our services to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide.
You will be based in our psychosocial team working with adult males (over 18 years old). You will be responsible for delivering a range of elements of our substance use work including case management, assessments, care planning, the delivery of one-to-one interventions to include harm reduction and motivational work, group work, and engagement support as well as other associated duties. You need to be committed to supporting people who use our services to make positive changes to prepare them for release into the community, and you will arrange continuity of care. You will work in collaboration with the clinical team and integrated working is a key element of this role. You will work within the prison setting and contribute towards the wider prison drug strategy.
Having experience of supporting people with complex health needs including substance use, you will bring knowledge and commitment to deliver drug and alcohol treatment. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and a desire to support the lives of people who use our services to be healthier and safer by delivering a high-quality service.
Experience of working with drug and alcohol use is essential. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently and be comfortable and enthusiastic, both with the highlighted client group and working in partnership with other service providers. Previous experience or knowledge of working with individuals on opiate replacement treatment, and/or involved in the criminal justice system will be advantageous.

Flexibility

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Lead to lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace and wider digital systems across the Refugee Employment Network.
The Refugee Employment Marketplace is a digital platform connecting displaced people in the UK with jobs, employers and employment support.
Working closely with developers, partners and users, you will help ensure the Marketplace is successfully implemented, accessible, adopted and scaled across Wales and the wider REN network. Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Product Development & Delivery
· Lead the implementation, customisation and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace to meet REN’s organisational goals and user needs.
· Work with external platform providers and developers to coordinate product delivery, customisation, timelines and ongoing improvements.
· Build and maintain project plans, documentation and delivery processes to support successful implementation and rollout.
· Coordinate platform testing, user feedback and troubleshooting to improve functionality, accessibility and user experience.
· Support the integration of REN’s wider digital systems, including website and CRM.
2. Co-design & Partnerships
· Convene and coordinate REN’s Digital Advisory Group to inform the design and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace.
· Facilitate focus groups, user testing and feedback sessions with refugees, employers, charities, local authorities and employment advisers to improve platform design, accessibility and user experience.

3. Platform Rollout, Training & User Support
· Lead the rollout and adoption of the Refugee Employment Marketplace across Wales and the wider REN network.
· Develop onboarding processes, training and guidance materials to support effective use of the platform.
· Act as the first point of contact for user support, including account setup, login support, troubleshooting and user journey guidance.
4. CRM, Website & Digital Infrastructure Management
· Lead the scoping, procurement and implementation of a new CRM system

This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, compassionate community professional who wants to help households reduce energy costs, improve comfort at home and build resilience during a challenging time for many residents. Trusted, face-to-face advice in people’s homes is central to the role, particularly for households at risk of fuel poverty who may need impartial support to access the help available to them.
As an experienced Home Energy Advisor, you will carry out home visits across Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley, as well as providing advice by telephone and at community events. You will tailor practical support to each household, helping residents use energy more efficiently, reduce bills where possible, and keep their homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
You will be a confident communicator and empathetic listener, able to understand the specific challenges faced by vulnerable households and respond with clear, positive and practical solutions.

South East London Community Energy (Selce) was born in 2014, when a group of people living in Greenwich & Lewisham became so concerned about climate change that they decided to come up with a formula that would help to create a clean and just energy future.
Throughout our first ten-years, we have set up projects that address inequality and seek to reduce our collective carbon footprint at different points in the energy systems.

The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.
The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.
Hybrid working
The role has a hybrid expectation of a minimum of a day a week in the High Wycombe office (HP11 2QW) to build relationships and provide support to the fundraising team, and there will be flexibility required for other in person meetings and events. Can Do is a start-up using digital technology to create social change. We work across addiction, mental health, homelessness, poverty and justice to help people access and navigate support. We are small, practical, and focused on building something that works for people facing disadvantage.
THE ROLE
This role supports founder Mark Johnson with day-to-day organisation, preparation, communication, and follow-up. It is a hands-on role and could be suited to someone early in their career who wants an opportunity to grow, learn, and be part of building something from the ground up. You will help bring order, structure, and clarity to a fast-moving environment.
This is a development role with real responsibility. You will handle communications, organise information, prepare materials, conduct basic research, and make sure Mark has what he needs to stay up to date and move projects forward.

Main purpose of job:To work in the Navigator team supporting individuals who have or are experiencing sexual violence and or sexual abuse. As a first contact worker, you will act as a gateway to both specialist counselling and advocacy services and additional specialist support services in Essex. You will use your considerable experience to provide a high-quality telephone information and support service.
The support you deliver will help individuals on their pathway to wellbeing, recovery, and social inclusion through building trusting and collaborative relationships. You will guide users to make informed decisions about their own wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources/interventions.
You will work within a team of first contact navigators under the supervision of a service lead. You will be highly motivated and dedicated, have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Start date: As soon as possible (subject to Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references).
Salary:£26,496 - £28,845 (NJC Scales 12-17) per annum, pro-rata.
Contract: This will be a permanent contract.
Hours: 35 hours per week.
Place of work: CARA premises in Colchester and some remote home working if a suitable environment is available. Some travel to other locations in Essex may be required, particularly during the induction period.
Holiday: 25 days per year, pro-rata, plus additional closure days between Christmas and New Year.

Job Description
The First Contact Navigator posts will play a central role in the CARA team, ensuring that our service users and other agencies receive a high-quality service from the moment of first contact. You will work as part of a wider team of First Contact Navigators across Essex, based at our Synergy Essex Partner centres. The post liaises with clients, the CARA team and external agencies, providing advice, support and information.
The First Contact Navigator will engage with individuals who are experiencing, or who have experienced, sexual violence and or sexual abuse who require information, signposting and short-term support. You will be the first contact and conduct first meetings, managing your own caseload and co-ordinating personalised support for individuals on their pathway to wellbeing. You will have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You will support people who use CARA services to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources. You will work collaboratively with service users, the CARA team and other professional agencies to navigate and coordinate services.

CARA is part of Synergy Essex – the Essex Rape and Sexual Abuse Partnership. We work closely with SERICC Rape and Sexual Abuse Specialist Service and Southend-on-Sea Rape Crisis (SOS Rape Crisis) to deliver the contract for the Office for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex for services for victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse across Essex.

Who we are looking for
We're looking for an exceptional campaigner to lead an ambitious environmental campaigning programme for just over a year to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring leader who can develop bold, strategic campaigns that shift public debate, influence decision-makers and deliver tangible environmental outcomes.
You'll be an experienced campaign strategist who understands that lasting change rarely comes from a single tactic. You'll know how to bring together compelling communications, evidence and investigations, grassroots mobilisation, political engagement, legal interventions and partnerships into integrated campaigns capable of changing policy, behaviour and corporate practice.

What you’ll be doing:
As Head of Campaigns, you will be developing and delivering bold, integrated campaigns that drive lasting change for the UK's rivers. You'll lead and inspire a talented team of campaigners, helping them to develop innovative, impactful campaigns while fostering a collaborative, ambitious and supportive culture. You'll work closely with colleagues across communications, policy, legal, fundraising and research, ensuring our work is strategically aligned and greater than the sum of its parts.
Leading River Action's Campaigns Team, you will shape the organisation's campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is innovative, evidence-led and designed to influence public opinion, hold polluters to account and secure meaningful political and systemic change. You'll create campaigns that connect compelling storytelling with community mobilisation, strategic communications, political advocacy, legal action and partnerships, ensuring every part of our work contributes towards our mission to rescue the UK’s rivers.
You'll provide strategic leadership across the full campaign lifecycle, overseeing campaign planning, delivery, budgeting, resourcing and evaluation. You'll ensure our campaigns are informed by robust evidence, guided by clear objectives and measured against meaningful outcomes, using insight and learning to continually strengthen our impact.
You will lead River Action's communications and public profile, ensuring our campaigns cut through the national conversation, inspire public action and strengthen our reputation as one of the UK's leading environmental campaigning organisations. You’ll oversee media, messaging and campaign communications that amplify our voice and build public support for change.
Internally, you'll work in close partnership with the Head of Public Affairs to ensure our public campaigns reinforce and accelerate our political influencing work, while ensuring community campaigns and grassroots action inform our national priorities. You'll also work alongside the Head of Legal to develop campaigns involving strategic litigation to achieve change within and outside of court and legal processes, using legal action as a catalyst for wider public awareness, policy change and industry accountability.
As a member of River Action's Senior Management Team, you'll help shape the strategic direction of the organisation and contribute to organisational leadership beyond your own department. You'll work alongside the CEO and fellow Heads of Department to deliver our organisational strategy, embedding collaboration, innovation and impact across all areas of our work.
You'll also play a key role in securing the resources needed to deliver our ambitions. Working with the Head of Development, you'll help develop compelling funding proposals, inspire funders with our vision and demonstrate the impact of our work through robust monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Main Duties
Provide strategic leadership as a member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the CEO to deliver River Action's organisational strategy, theory of change and long-term vision.
Lead the development and delivery of River Action's integrated campaigning strategy, ensuring our public campaigns drive measurable environmental, political and societal change.
Develop and oversee a portfolio of ambitious national campaigns, identifying opportunities to influence public opinion, policy, regulation and industry practice through innovative and impactful campaigning.
Lead River Action's communications, media and public engagement strategy, ensuring compelling storytelling, strong brand visibility and effective use of traditional, digital and social media to grow our influence and supporter base.
Lead the planning and delivery of River Action’s creative interventions and actions, from polling, petitions and shareholder actions to public protests and high-profile actions.
Serve as a senior public representative and spokesperson for River Action, building the organisation's profile and influence through media engagement, public speaking, stakeholder engagement and high-profile external events.
Oversee River Action's digital campaigning platforms, including the strategic development of our website and digital engagement tools.
Work closely with the Head of Public Affairs to ensure campaigns and political advocacy are fully integrated, maximising opportunities to influence government, regulators and decision-makers.
Work closely with the Head of Public Affairs to ensure grassroots action informs national campaigns, and national campaigns empower and amplify community action.
Work with the Head of Legal to identify, develop and deliver strategic legal interventions that strengthen campaigns, increase accountability and drive systemic change beyond the courtroom.
Build and maintain influential relationships with campaign partners, coalitions, NGOs, academics, community organisations, funders and other key stakeholders to maximise collective impact.
Lead campaign planning, governance and delivery, ensuring campaigns are effectively resourced, managed and evaluated against agreed objectives, budgets and monitoring, evaluation and reporting (MER) frameworks.
Lead, inspire and develop the Campaigns Team, fostering a collaborative, creative and high-performing culture that enables colleagues to thrive and deliver exceptional work.
Work with the CEO, Head of Development and senior colleagues to secure funding for campaign activities, contributing to funding proposals, donor engagement and impact reporting.
Work with the Finance and Operations Manager to develop, monitor and manage campaign budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively and strategically.
Support organisational reporting by contributing to Board papers, quarterly and annual reports, organisational planning and performance monitoring.

Written submission
River Action is looking to develop a campaign around water security in the UK to launch in 2027. Please put together a campaign brief setting out the challenges faced, how we would develop and deliver this campaign including campaign asks; campaign outcomes; public, political and legal tactics; routes for funding and resource requirements.
Your campaign brief should be no longer than 2 sides of A4.
