As a positive subsequence, we are looking for a Head of Finance & Business Support, who will become a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing the financial stewardship of Citizens Advice Stevenage. Financial Leadership
Prepare, review, and present draft and final budgets for approval by the board, ensuring timely submission of financial information to the CEO and Trustee Board.
Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards, including variance analysis and annual balance sheets, ensuring timely submission of financial information to the CEO and Trustee Board.
Manage the reserves policy, ensuring regular review and alignment with operational needs and financial risks.
Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring integration into the organization’s risk register and adherence to appropriate mitigations.

Oversee the transactions, activities and processes of the external payroll provider.
To monitor and advise on current and future tax legislation, with a view to optimisation.
To support service managers in the preparation of bids and contract negotiations and provide financial activity analysis and reports in line with specific project reporting requirements.
To monitor, report and make recommendations regarding the Investment and Reserves Policy to the Board.
To oversee the payroll function to ensure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
To monitor and control creditors and debtors, ensuring invoices are paid on time and the risk of bad debts is minimised.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory frameworks, including the Charity Commission, Companies House, FCA, ICO, and other relevant bodies.
Maintain and regularly review financial systems, controls, and policies, ensuring they are effectively implemented and aligned with legal requirements.
Conduct due diligence for pension, redundancy, and other liabilities, ensuring plans are in place for management and mitigation.
Support the trustee board in understanding risks related to projects and contracts, providing assurance of compliance with funders’ requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Grants Manager to join Suffolk Wildlife Trust's Fundraising & Philanthropy Team at a pivotal time for nature recovery across Suffolk.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising & Philanthropy, you will lead and develop Suffolk Wildlife Trust's grant fundraising programme, securing vital income from charitable trusts, foundations and other grant-making organisations to support our strategic priorities and core costs. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

The Food Justice Alliance
The Cambridge Food Justice Alliance is a network of local organisations working together to address food insecurity in Cambridge and take strategic, collective action for lasting food justice. The Alliance strengthens connections across the city, supports partners to share knowledge and experience, identifies shared priorities, and coordinates activity to help residents access fair, dignified and sustainable food support. Its work is guided by a steering group with representatives from Cambridge Sustainable Food, Cambridge City Foodbank, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge United Charitable Trust, Abbey People CIO, Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum and Church of the Good Shepherd. The Steering Group shapes key themes, agrees collective actions and identifies the partners best placed to lead specific areas of work.
This is a coordination and systems leadership role, not a frontline delivery post. For nearly 30 years Sutton Mental Health Foundation has been a refuge for people in Sutton, Surrey, whose mental health has had an impact on their lives. Over this time, the Foundation has helped thousands of people navigate their way through their mental health challenges and in 2025 we saw an 18% increase in demand for our services.
From our unique and pioneering centre in the London Borough of Sutton, we provide a wide array of services aimed at promoting mental wellbeing, resilience and recovery from mental distress and ultimately, keeping people safe. Sutton Mental Health Foundation provides a place where people can feel safe and supported in tackling their mental health challenges and we provide these services 365 days a year.
Our crucial work
The Foundation is a hidden gem of innovation, with a pioneering ‘Intentional Peer Support’ approach at its heart, which trains former and current service users to provide support to individuals facing similar mental health challenges to those they have faced themselves. The first contact from local people experiencing severe anxiety or distress often comes through telephone calls or through our Crisis Café, which operates every evening in person from 6.30pm to 11.00 pm, 365 days a year, and on the phone or on- line at other times. This is where people can receive support and learn about the range of support options the Foundation provides.
Our counselling service can help local people tackle a wide range of issues affecting their mental health.
Our Belmont Connect service is a place to socialise, meet new people and receive support in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can also join one of our classes or drop-in sessions. These may be art-based, music-themed, or centred around activities such as gardening. We aim to offer a range of weekly activities that cater to different interests and encourage social connection and wellbeing. In the winter our In Your Corner Sunday service offers lunches from midday onwards, and we have year round specialist support sessions such as the Sutton Hearing Voices Group, which help individuals explore different ways to deal with hearing voices.
We have been very successful in securing funding for our work from the local authority and from our local NHS Trust, but we have now reached a point where we want to raise new funds to innovate and expand our services, hence creating this new role of Community Fundraising Manager.

The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join NEYDL’s growing team and help us establish and develop our work with young dads in Tees Valley.
As a Senior Young Dads Worker, you will provide direct, intensive support to young dads across Tees Valley, working with some of the most disadvantaged young men in the region. You will manage your own caseload, lead peer support activity, work in close partnership with Family Hubs, social care and other local services, and take a lead role in ensuring every young dad you work with is effectively supported from first contact through to positive outcomes.
This is a senior role with real responsibility. Alongside direct delivery, you will take ownership of your project budget, contribute to funder reporting, supervise junior staff and/or volunteers, and develop a designated area of specialism agreed with the senior leadership team. The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships.

About this role
The Development Director (Philanthropy) provides strategic leadership across Impetus’ philanthropy and stewardship portfolio, with responsibility for relationship management, renewal, growth and selected new business activity. The postholder will work with high-value funders, including corporate partners, trusts and foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
In 25/26, the Philanthropy and Partnerships team generated £11m in philanthropic income, alongside £2.8m in pro bono contributions. The Development Director will play a key role in delivering Impetus’ growth ambitions, supporting the increase in philanthropic income to £14m by 2029.
Working closely with the Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the role will translate the fundraising strategy into clear stewardship, renewal, relationship-growth and selected new business plans, ensuring strong donor retention, high-quality engagement and sustainable growth in high-value income.
Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the postholder will oversee the donor lifecycle across the philanthropy portfolio, with particular focus on strategic stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and the effective transition of selected prospects into long-term donor relationships. Southwark Charities is entering an exciting new chapter. With a £100m property portfolio, a growing grant programme and the development of 64 new almshouses, we're looking for an exceptional Head of Resources to lead the systems and processes that keep our charity strong.
Reporting to the CEO, you'll oversee finance, HR, IT, governance, property compliance, contracts and organisational systems, ensuring the charity operates efficiently, remains compliant and is well positioned for future growth. You'll work in a small, dedicated team while working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding services for older people across Southwark.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys improving processes, managing change and finding practical solutions. You'll bring experience in operations, finance or corporate services, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to work across multiple disciplines.
