Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.
In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.

The policy officer supports our policy development work by building knowledge of key policy issues, drafting policy materials and helping with the generation of evidence and insight to shape our work. The Cathedral Safeguarding Officer (CSO) is a Liverpool Diocesan employee who is responsible for leading and promoting safeguarding across Liverpool Cathedral, ensuring that safeguarding is embedded throughout its ministry, governance and operations. Working closely with the Dean, clergy, staff and volunteers, the postholder will provide both safeguarding leadership and practical support to foster a culture in which safeguarding is understood by all as a shared responsibility, and the welfare of children, young people and adults remains central to Cathedral life. The postholder will be an active and visible presence within Liverpool Cathedral, working closely alongside the Dean, Cathedral leadership, clergy, staff and volunteers to build effective working relationships and embed safeguarding throughout Cathedral life, while maintaining strong professional links with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team.
Working collaboratively across the Cathedral, the CSO will help ensure that safeguarding policies, procedures and governance arrangements are effectively implemented, monitored and continuously improved. The postholder will maintain robust safeguarding records and oversight of safeguarding data, using information and trends to inform team decision-making, monitor risk, identify emerging safeguarding issues and support the ongoing development of policy, practice and organisational learning. They will maintain strong partnerships with statutory agencies, partner organisations and the Diocesan Safeguarding Team (DST).
The CSO will provide professional safeguarding advice and guidance, support the development of safer working practices, deliver safeguarding learning and development opportunities, and assist with the identification, assessment, and management of safeguarding risks. The postholder will also act as a key point of contact for safeguarding concerns and allegations, ensuring that these are managed appropriately and in accordance with statutory requirements, Church of England guidance, and National Safeguarding Standards.
Although based at Liverpool Cathedral, the CSO is an integral member of the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and will receive professional supervision, support and line management from the Deputy Head of Safeguarding (DDSO) and the Head of Safeguarding (DSO). The postholder will contribute to the delivery of the Diocese's safeguarding strategy and the implementation of its safeguarding plans, while holding lead responsibility for safeguarding practice within the Cathedral.

The role will support our Campaign Manager to deliver measurable progress to ensure the UK’s marine protected areas are fully protected from heavy industry such as industrial bottom trawling and dredging. You will also be focused on delivering campaign actions aimed at ending overfishing, once and for all. You will help Oceana embed its role as a leading organisation in the marine NGO space in the UK, and drive forward bold campaign actions that inspire meaningful and long-lasting change.
Eligible candidates should have some experience in campaigning, but we’re equally looking for passion, motivation and a drive to protect the ocean. You should be a self-starter, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Tyne Rivers Trust is looking for a talented and proactive Systems Officer to lead the development and management of our data and digital systems at an exciting time of growth and organisational development.
As a registered environmental charity, we work to improve rivers and their catchments for the benefit of people, wildlife and communities. Following our recent expansion to include Northumberland Rivers catchments, we are strengthening our systems and data infrastructure to support our growing impact across the region.
About the Role
This is a new and influential position at the heart of the organisation. You will oversee and develop Tyne Rivers Trust's data management and digital systems, ensuring they are effective, secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
Working closely with colleagues across the Trust, you will help improve how we capture, manage, analyse and report information, enabling better decision-making and supporting fundraising, project delivery, communications and operational performance.
You will manage and optimise systems including Microsoft 365, CRM databases, reporting tools, document management systems and spatial data systems, while championing best practice in data governance and digital working.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, development and ongoing management of the Trust's data management systems.
Ensure data quality, consistency, security and compliance with GDPR and information governance requirements.
Act as the organisational lead for data management, system administration and continuous improvement.
Manage and optimise Microsoft 365, CRM systems, reporting tools and other digital platforms.
Identify opportunities for automation, integration and improved workflows.
Develop policies, procedures and guidance relating to data and systems management.
Produce reports and insights to support organisational planning, monitoring and evaluation.
Provide training, support and advice to colleagues on systems and data processes.
Support the management and development of spatial data systems and GIS resources.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical and analytical skills with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
You will have:
Experience of managing or administering data management and digital systems.
Experience implementing or upgrading CRM, database or information management systems.
Strong understanding of data management principles and best practice.
Knowledge of GDPR, information governance and data protection requirements.
Experience supporting colleagues to make effective use of systems and technology.
Experience producing accurate reports and analysing data for different audiences.
