About the Role

Too many young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) face a sharp drop in support as they transition into adulthood. This role sits within an ambitious new programme, Ending the Cliff Edge, designed to change that.

As Partnerships and Best Practice Lead, you will play a central role in building a national, cross-sector alliance of young people, families, practitioners, organisations and service providers. Together, this alliance will drive meaningful reform and create better pathways into adulthood for disabled young people.

This is an opportunity to help shape a new initiative from the ground up—spreading best practice, testing innovative approaches, and building strong evidence of what works.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a broad collaborative partnership of cross‑sector organisations, providers, and experts to achieve collective ambition of driving improvement in transitions support.
• Refine, capture and share best‑practice models for supporting disabled young people into adulthood, ensuring they are evidence‑informed and accessible.
• Support partner organisations to design, adapt and deliver pilots that test innovative approaches and generate strong evidence of impact.
• Expand Kids’ national reach by growing the number of young people supported through improved transitions pathways, and increasing the number of businesses and providers engaged.
• Act as the central link between Kids’ direct delivery and wider national partners, ensuring learning is shared widely and consistently.
• Represent Kids externally as a champion for high‑quality transitions support, contributing to sector learning, collaboration and thought leadership.

About You

You are a confident relationship builder with experience of working across sectors and bringing people together around a shared goal. You’re comfortable working in a developing programme environment, able to take initiative, manage ambiguity, and turn ideas into action.

You are motivated by improving outcomes for disabled young people and have a strong understanding of the barriers they face.

• Proven experience of partnership development and cross-sector collaboration
• Experience identifying and sharing best practice, and translating learning into practical resources
• Ability to coordinate and support pilot projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation

In the pivotal role of Duty Worker, you will work on four weekly shift based pattern to support with the day to day running of the project including but not limited to overseeing set weekly H&S tasks, managing repairs, leading on and planning day to day appointments, at The Coninghams we offer our duty workers the opportunity to lead in a clients support and or to co-keywork.

You will often be the first person that our clients, contractors and visitors come into contact with, you will work closely with project workers, night staff, manager and external professionals to ensure the effective day to day running of the project.

CSAN is the official agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice affecting people who live in England and Wales. We’re facing a steep rise in poverty and significant pressures on social, economic and church resources. Currently, the Church is called to raise a prophetic voice against poverty and the rhetoric of division and work for the building of a more just society.

Over the last 20 years, CSAN has built up a network of 50 diocesan and direct service charities with a combined annual spend on social mission estimated at £400m, excluding the work of schools and religious congregations. Our members build up local community life in diverse ways, and many of them support individuals in difficulty, including with housing, prison and detention, social isolation, ill-health, violence, disability, employment, care, therapeutic and welfare support.

The key responsibilities of the post are:

1. To scan the social policy environment to capture developments in legislation, consultation papers and Bills relevant to the Caritas network for the purpose of comprehensive tracking and briefing.

2. To deliver an effective programme of Catholic advocacy and political campaigns that contributes to the common good, with particular attention to the priorities of the dignity of workers, child poverty, social care and end of life; supporting and connecting well with the team’s other activities, and where possible with the CSAN membership’s priorities,

3. To draft campaign and advocacy materials for the range of media channels used by CSAN and support the CEO in engaging with the press and approaches from campaigning organisations including contributing to CSAN’s social media networks.

4. To provide admin support and contribute to CSAN’s Alliances as required, especially the Advocacy Alliance and the Criminal Justice Alliance with information and education on policy and legislation.

5. To ensure that our advocacy is consistent with the Bishops’ understanding of the Church’s role in society and supports the priorities of the Bishops’ Conference, especially the Department for Social Justice.

6. To act as a conduit of information and communication between the Bishops’ Conference and the CSAN members, under the guidance of the CEO, assisting CBCEW where possible in gathering information and the lived experience of poverty.

7. To develop and contribute to practice materials for the network, especially in the areas of campaigning, advocacy, social policy and formation for mission.

8. To oversee monitoring of the Catholic press and relevant wider networks for relevant articles, developments and campaigns.

As Grants and Outreach Officer, you will play a key role in driving Electrical Safety First’s mission to reduce deaths, injuries, and accidents caused by electricity, particularly for the most vulnerable in society.

You will help manage the Charity’s grant scheme programme, which distributes £1,000,000 annually to fund community-based initiatives that raise awareness of electrical safety and reduce risks for those who face the most danger. Through this, you will help empower local organisations to create tangible change in their communities.

In addition to helping administer the grant scheme, you’ll support the Charity’s outreach initiatives, working closely with the Senior Grants and Outreach Officer to identify opportunities to expand the charity’s reach and partnerships.

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in the recruitment of a temporary Grants Officer. This role sits within the UK office of an international development charity, whose mission is to prevent and treat blindness and improve eye health globally. The postholder will primarily support grant-funded programmes in India and Vietnam, working closely with UK and international colleagues.

This is a junior, administration-focused role suited to someone with hands-on experience in grants or programme support who is looking to develop longer-term expertise in international development funding.

Responsibilities:

• Grant development and management
  • Support the management of a portfolio of restricted and unrestricted grants, primarily from trusts, foundations and institutional donors
  • Assist with the identification and initial research of new statutory and institutional funding opportunities
  • Support the preparation of funding proposals, donor reports and grant-related communications
  • Monitor grant compliance and reporting requirements, working closely with Finance and programme teams in the UK and overseas
  • Maintain accurate grant records and documentation
• Programme committee support
  • Coordinate papers, data and presentations for the quarterly UK Programme Committee and Board
  • Support project reviews by compiling, checking and maintaining monitoring and evaluation data

Requirements:

• Recent, relevant experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector, ideally in a grants, programmes or funding support role
• Experience working in or with international NGOs or international development programmes
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence using IT systems and digital tools, including Microsoft Office (experience of Power BI desirable)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
• Comfortable working in a junior, support-focused role with scope to develop over time

About the role:

At North London Multi-Disciplinary Rough Sleeping Hub, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service safe, steady and well run overnight. You’ll be supporting people who have come directly off the streets and are navigating multiple disadvantage, helping to create an environment where they can rest, feel secure and continue moving forward.

As a Night Concierge, you’ll take ownership of the building overnight. That means managing access, carrying out regular checks, monitoring safety and responding to anything that arises. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients during your shift, offering a calm, respectful presence and stepping in when support is needed.

Alongside this, you’ll keep things running behind the scenes. You’ll record incidents and key information accurately, complete handovers for the day team and make sure nothing gets missed. You’ll use internal systems to log activity, report repairs or concerns and communicate clearly with the wider team so there’s continuity between day and night.

Some nights will be quiet and routine, others less predictable. You might be carrying out welfare checks, managing the building, responding to queries or supporting someone who needs reassurance. It’s a role that combines responsibility, independence and people-focused work, where your consistency and judgement help keep both clients and the service on track.

Positions Available: We have two positions available at 44 hours per week, these will include weekend working with shift patterns to be discussed and confirmed at interview stage.

The Huntington's Disease Association is a UK registered charity that supports people affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We provide information, advice and support to families, friends, and healthcare professionals.

We are looking for three new team members to join our team of Specialist Huntington's Disease Advisers to support people affected by Huntington’s disease.

• East and South Yorkshire Specialist Huntington’s Disease Adviser (part-time, 21 hours)
• Surrey and South London Specialist Huntington’s Disease Adviser (part-time, 21 hours)

All roles available are home-based, but must be living in the area specified in the job title, as the job involves extensive travel within the region and occasional travel across England and Wales.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is dedicated and committed to the welfare of families affected by Huntington’s disease, developing and improving the quality of care that they receive. You will need to have skills gained within a Health and Social Care profession. Your main responsibilities will be to offer help, information, advice, support and education to everyone affected by Huntington’s disease and professionals involved in supporting them.

All three vacancies are on a part-time permanent contract. Due to team-wide commitments, you must be available to work on Tuesdays. All other working days (in line with contracted hours) may be flexible around your individual needs and the needs of the role.
